Currently working with Logi K850 and considering to upgrade to G613. The K850 is a very capable keyboard; however, the built-in palm rest is quite uncomfortable. Thanks for sharing!
Great video which cleared up a couple of things I was unsure about.
I found this video very entertaining and informative. Awesome job!
This video is probably the best review I’ve seen!
Thank you so much!
Just starting to research wireless peripherals and I'm actually shocked how little real choice there is compared to wired. It's actually more niche than I thought. This keyboard is still the clear best option at it's price point after several years and it has no TKL alternative. The few better options are twice the price and other price similar options have worse latency.
It make it even harder when you’re trying to find quiet keyboards that don’t sound like type writers
Bro nice video review.Excelent quality video, editing and content. This should have at least 1M views.
Did you were able to customize the keys ? if yes, did you used G hub sw, because at least for me it does not recognize my G613 keyboard
Good job explaining all the features. I didn't know about them.
I don’t agree when people say this kb is quiet. When my nvidia broadcasts isn’t on to block the kb sounds, I get wall to wall complaints on video calls. The key sensitivity also causes LOTS of double types characters and I feel I spend way more time correcting stuff when using it
Sound test at 4:52
This particular model is notorious for double clicking. I had to return mine after 6 months of use.
I always used wired keyboards but found the wired too short. I recently purchased a Logitech wireless keyboard from Dell for $40 that was originally $54.
Nice review. But when you were comparing the sounds of the keys, you typed on the Redragon and lightly caressing the Logitech, you were _barely_ pressing the space bar.
I've been using this model for 3 years. Double typing started recently :/ I have mainly used this one daily to do my work as a software developer. The keyboard is obviously out of warranty now, and the attached batteries survived longer than the actual hardware... 🤦♂️
Same happened to me, I enjoyed this keyboard for 2 years, then it started to do a glitchy double type some letters when you press once, after 3 years it was gone to many glitches when you press keys, tried to fix it but some keys stopped responding at all. Before the key type glitching started, I really enjoyed it. but it is too pricy keyboard to use for 2-3 years then throw it away.
I have the MK345 from Logitech for 5 years now, and it still works perfectly, it's considered quiet it is Membrane not Mechanical and some reviews online can show you, it has tactile feel to it, but what I do like about it it has ridiculous long lifespan on the battery, I have once changed the battery in what is now 4-5 years, the only thing bothering me to almost replace it is just sort "dirty in the crevices over time and underneath one of the rubber fell off at some point sometime and yeah thats about it, its even cheap.. like $30-$40 or something.. no RGB but then again I don't need my world lit up.

Didn't you had the key response issues on g613?
I wanted a keyboard exactly the same but with rgb... I don't like keyboards with built-in battery
This keyboard is a banger, the buttons are lightning fast.
What's your take on the Steel Series and Razor keyboards. Those are the ones I always keep hearing about..
I really want to try them out, I've only read about them thus far. I like these Logitech keyboard because they are just great all around and have additional features which I enjoy
don't buy razor products
@@haloha329 why
@@muhammadihzahutajulu don’t listen to him razer had great products but when it comes to keyboards they use plastic a lot
@@jairlopez2209 I have currently their mouse deathhadder v2 and it works really good
I have the same keyboard, got back in december of 2020. the only keyborad i want more is my old keyboard(the Steelseries Merc Stealth), but with wireless, and mechanical keyswitches (it does not exist) but i want it too)
Niceee
Is there any backlight on this keyboard I don't care for RGB but having it at least back lit in white would be nice.....I'm a vampire gamer I like gaming at night....with no lights on
Nope no ambient lights unfortunately :(
I currently have a G915 and hate it. It's rechargeable, but the battery life is terrible. When it powers down to save battery and the key lights go off, the keys look totally blank, so you can't just start typing, you have to wait for the keys to light up again and it takes forever to fully power up with correct lighting etc. Also, it has upside down keys (eg: '%' is below '5' - not above it) and I've never really gotten used to it. Also, it only has 5 macro keys and I really need 6. Thankfully the G613 solves all those problems, so I will be getting one of them. The scroll wheel volume control is nice on the G915, but I have a scroll wheel volume control on my mouse (MX Master 3) which is even better.
Wow thats very interesting, I never used the G915 personally but thank you for your insight on your experience. I absolutely love my G613, still haven't ran into any issues thus far.
Had one for about a year, but have experienced a double-clicking issue. Thankfully logitech is sending a replacement! It's not the best keyboard out there, but it's utilitarian to a fault. Works for me for home office and gaming. I'll probably upgrade what dies but hopefully that's not for a few years.
Whats the name of the song?
What is that third button on the left of the 2.4GHz button?
Gamer mode... I don't know exactly what it does other than disable windows keys
Does it come with a USB to plug into the PC? Or does it just do Bluetooth?
Yes it comes with the cables
I got this keyboard today but I can't connect it to the ps5 using Bluetooth at all, the ps5 keeps saying that this device isn't supported, why is that?
Hmmmm thats strange 🤔. Worse case use the dongle to connect to the PS5 via wireless and then connect via bluetooth to the computer
In games like warthunder you need 100% size keyboard. Ther is too many control's
quao. love your video
Personally i dont like RGB because it just uses battery life with no benefit, so i prefer more simple mechanical keyboards for gaming and work.
Had it for 3 years. Very reliable and definitely a good buy.
Niceee!
i bought it once 2 yr , got disturbed replaced but again got disturbed its , sometimes keys not responding or double pressing
@@studiotrics you are not the only one it seems to report this issue about this keyboard, guess I will just buy razer cynosa lite then
@@grizius4123 i hav it in my home , its very bad product pls dont buy...or may be in india we got bad service
@@grizius4123 but when its working , its superb but after 1 yr gone
I use a wired gaming keyboard, from expierience, as much as I like the wireless idea if youre in a raid and your batteries die and you can't heal anyone, that MIGHT be a problem...
once in 18 months your party will hate you :P
This still seems to be the choice for those who enjoy a full sized mechanical keyboard with a non-removable palm rest. I like the 18 month battery life and the fact I can move the keyboard to my lap for casual gaming without the palm rest coming apart. I understand this keyboard won't be for everybody, but yeah, its exactly what I been searching for!!! If you want RGB, or a small keyboard, or removable palm rest, and can deal with charging it every week or so, this isn't the keyboard for you..
5:05 sound demo
so it doesn't have rgb but is it atleast backlit?
it doesn't have rgb and also not backlit
@@Ley_Leys yeah I ended up going with a Logitech MX Keys Keyboard and I really like it.
backlit keyboard don't last 18 months on same battery, you have to charge them weekly. So if you want backlit keyboard this one is not for you.
@@northyland1157 I went with the Logitech MX Keys. I charge it maybe twice a month. It's a great keyboard.
I am so poor, I am just using the A4Tech office-type keyboard. FeelsBadMan
I love this keyboard for the most part. But when on work calls in Zoom or something, everything asks who is typing so loudly. So yeah, its not great for everything.
Or maybe you have the gain on your mic too high? 🤔
PLEASE READ THSI BEFORE BUYING, the g613 is very good. However , after sometime it starts double clicking which makes it non usable. Conclusion: its only good for the first couple of month.
There is both software solutions to this, ways to clean the switches with 99% alcohol, and also the switches are replaceable if you have simple soldering skills. ( a soldering iron a solder sucker, and some rosin core solder)
I’m having trouble connecting this to my ps5
well it does help moving 5ms earlier to the left or right but fine my ping wont get better
than*
I would say, it’s the worst. Multiple switches failed after half a year of use, got replaced, then they failed again…and this is a common problem.
Wow thats a first for me 🤔
bad product two time got disturbed response rate down
Than*
Video starts in the middle of the video...and barely any info at that.
Have anyone tried this with PS5? I'm considering to buy it for both playing PS5 and working.
hello, it does pair with my PS5, and also because of the lightspeed mode, it responds extremely fast.
i'm planning to sell my G613, i'm kin'a looking for an upgrade
had mine for 2 years... thrown out for double press on almost half my buttons.
you can clean them up with IPA and a toothpick, or just replace the switches if you have simple soldering skills
Wipe that thing off before you start taking fancy shots!
I knowwwww LOL
Wired forever rgb,no battery's, cheaper,5 more milliseconds but great video maybe I might get this when I can afford it
RGB FTW
I don't recommend this keyboard at all. I had it twice (two different models) and each one started chattering after a couple of months.
Not mine had it for 2 years still works perfectly
It's a Dinovo Edg but not as nice.
It's a Dinovo Edge but $635 less.
WARNING: For evveryone coniering buyyinng this keyboard. dont buy it. it has an ddouble clicking iissue and ometimes not regitering the s button. (Writtenwith a G613)
i just got it for 10$ from dirt cheap store say less lol
I wish you would let us hear it. Basically the whole point of clicking on this video. Disappointed
4:39 *than
less than 2 yrs and it has key clutter. cleaning does not fix it. disgusted at how much I paid for it.
Woww thats a first for me 🤔
Hello, It is interesting Cool
Thank you!
This product was a piece of shit, after some time keys start double taping or nott responding att all.
there is a software fix for double tapping, or you can clean the keys with IPA and a wooden toothpick, or you can solder in new switches...
@@northyland1157 I did clean them, it worked for a while but is not a permanent solution. Everyone already moved on from this awful keyboard.
That's what you do with a brand new, high end keyboard of a top brand :D. This keyboard is garbage
