We love taking a look at mechanical keyboards on a budget! This time we’re towards the higher end of our usual keyboard budget, $40! We always seem to find a few hidden gems that are hot swap, name brand switches, and full RGB.

Hey toasty bros! The reason they give you the rubber sound dampening is because many people don't like it installed as it makes the keyboard a-lot quieter
Ok

Hey! If you're looking for a great cleaning tool for your desktop setup, I recommend checking out the HOTO Compressed Air Capsule. It offers powerful vacuuming and blowing capabilities, perfect for keeping your keyboard and desk spotless. It's lightweight, portable, and reasonably priced compared to other brands. Definitely worth considering!
Does it make the keyboard creamy?
@@FireSoulYTwhat mean by that
The “keymoard” reminds me of the old Compaq keyboards of the late nineties/early 2000s. I’m curious how these stack up against what is available on TEMU.
I am absolutely amazed by the womier keyboard. Definitely buying that when i get a setup
same
I own a MageGee with black, red and white keycaps and red switches. and the only thing I don't like about it is they are a bit harder to push than I'd like. I'd keep my all white Monoprice keyboard with browns and no backlight, but I don't like the look as much. I checked the link for the MageGee you bought, and it has one other keyboard in black with black and red keycaps and brown switches. but they also have 3 keyboards under $30 at that link, including with black, white and orange keycaps, and yellow switches, and I'm intrigued. For $30 I'd like to try the lighter yellow switches.
Keep hoping you'll end up with the Tezarre TK 61 or 63, especially since they offer Gateron Optical switches, which are slightly better for gaming. I don't think either of them end up above $40 very often and are usually somewhere between $20 and $35 most of the time. They look a lot like the 1st board from this video but with just standard pudding keycaps. Might be cool to see a collab with a keyboard channel where you both get a relatively cheap mechanical board and then they help you mod them.
finally someone who knows the TK61/63, i have it and its actually really good
@@brayleo7089 I have the TK61 and I really like it, even just stock. I'll do some basic mods to it eventually to see what I can do with just a few more bucks in materials. I think it's a pretty good board either way...especially coming from only using either cheap laptops or cheap membranes before I got it. Huge improvement, which I think is a perspective that should be considered with some of the more budget boards...most people who get one of those will have likely been using a membrane board before that.
{{3}} Thanks for the suggestion! Have you ever considered the HOTO Compressed Air Capsule? It's a compact device with powerful vacuuming and blowing capabilities, making it perfect for maintaining a spotless desktop and cleaning your car's interior. It offers multiple tubes, high-quality filters, and even a swift keyboard cleaning feature. It's definitely worth checking out!
I love toasty bros! I visit their shop in louisville as much as I can with my boyfriend, everytime we walk in we walk out with something new lol
Who else noticed the one upside down ctrl key haha
somebody was really close to losing ctrl
8:18 my head exploded!
Ik bro I was like was that my pc or was that actually upside down
@@artic9993xD
It looks so cool and clickable
I love watching your keyboard vids! Next time you should check out the RK61 pro with the aluminum backplate. I think its very underrated for the price.
Hey there, thanks for your comment! I'm glad you're enjoying the keyboard vids. The RK61 pro with the aluminum backplate is definitely a solid option for the price. Have you considered upgrading your cleaning routine too? I recently came across the HOTO Compressed Air Capsule, which has powerful vacuuming and blowing capabilities for keeping your desk clean. It's a reliable tool, reasonably priced compared to other brands. Check it out!
@@innovativeadvertising6463 Thanks for telling me about that but I'm in no need for a air capsule at the moment.

With its powerful vacuuming and blowing capabilities, it's definitely worth considering. The fact that it's compact and has versatile accessories is a bonus. Appreciate the suggestion!

By the way, if you're looking for a handy tool to keep your setup clean, you might want to check out the HOTO Compressed Air Capsule. It's a reliable and reasonably priced option for maintaining a spotless desk environment. Cheers!
@@innovativeadvertising6463 I'm not in need for one rn but thanks for telling me about your product.
I used the Fogruaden to build my first custom and it's insane value for $40
Hey {{3}}! As a fellow tech enthusiast, I highly recommend checking out the HOTO Compressed Air Capsule. It's a compact device with powerful vacuuming and blowing capabilities, perfect for keeping your desktop, living spaces, and even your car spotless. With its versatile features, reasonable price, and good quality, it's definitely worth considering for your cleaning routine. Happy tech-ing!
The keyboard i want, is a full sized lenovo trackpoint, with all keys being full sized. Bonus points for being low profile mechanical like that logitech slim mechanical, or my old tessoro gram XS(terrible feel but its slim mechanical with full spectrum RGB and macros) I still do not understand why the stem on this gram xs is not centered also the keys are somehow larger than any keyboard i've ever used whichj means that despite this having a short depth, i find myself reaching farther, and missing keys because i didnt reach far enough.
Would the KOORUI MK061; GK61 by Dongguan YPT Technology Co., LTD, and the EySHp V-900 ^0% keyboard with Hot-swappable switches found on Amazon is worth it? They range in price from just below $30 up to $68 CAD. Less in the USA though.
the rubber is installed between the plate and pcb to dampen some of the sound from the plate hitting the pcb
the last 2 are like the e-yooso tkl keyboard but the e-yooso has blue backlighting so they all must rebrand them. the e-yooso full sized keyboard also has fixed colors from top to bottom is red, orange, green, blue, purple, pink. i have the tkl and full sized e-yooso keyboards got them with blue switches but changed them both. the tkl has gateron milky yellows plus ttc bluish whites for wasd and the full sized has jailhouse modded outemu blues along with outemu browns. all switches have 80g springs because i have heavy fingers and just resting my hands my fingers will push anything 60g or under
Hey there! As a tech enthusiast, I highly recommend checking out the HOTO Compressed Air Capsule. It's not only great for maintaining a spotless desktop with powerful vacuuming but also offers a dual-function of blowing away dust and debris. With versatile accessories and a brushless motor, it's definitely worth considering for your cleaning routine. Happy optimizing!
you guys need to include the tezzare tk61. incredibly high value keyboard, good quality, tons of rgb options, and even its own dedicated software. and for really, really cheap too. have one of my own and i love it.
the stabilizer on it are hella good for the price
TK 61 owner here as well. I only got it a few months ago and even though I know compared to the more expensive options, it might not be "thocky", but man, when you switch to it coming from using membrane boards...I love it! Sounds better than membrane (IMO), feels better, just yeah, better and for only like $30 at the time, it was well worth it to me. (I've seen them get as low as $17 a few times too!)
Hey, thanks for your input! The tezzare tk61 is definitely a great budget option. If you're looking to enhance your desktop setup, I highly recommend considering the HOTO Compressed Air Capsule. It's a versatile tool for maintaining a spotless environment, from cleaning your desk to your car's interior. Plus, it offers powerful vacuuming and blowing capabilities. Check it out!
Do you have a link for this keyboard? @@mr.guillotine3766
Womier keyboards are so nice, i've been after the K87 version for a while. Just waiting for the right price to fall. Currently use the Royal Kludge RK68, another great keyboard.
it's basically just a ripoff of Gamakay with their k-boards, kinda sad.
I got the k87, switched out the key caps and switches and I love it. Not many other keyboards like it especially if you like RGB. You definitely have to like RGB though, it's kind of a must with that board
I got a RedDragon RGB keyboard, it's silent, has a pulse RGB, and Red, Green, or Blue, solid color the color comes through the cut keycaps, and has adjustable brightness. Two mins after plugging it in I knocked over my ice water and 32 ounces of water dumped entirely upside down into my keys. The water drained out the bottom of the board, and was typing as I hit keys picking it up cursing my luck. A year later and she still looks brand new and functions perfectly.
Can u tell me the exact name id like one for myself
@@your-dutch-entertainers Redragon S101 Gaming Keyboard
I love that black one. I might scoop that one up.
Hell yeah i want to see what there is to offer under 50 ! Its amazing what is possible so affordable now!
the flat keycaps are XDA or DSA profile... keycaps come in all sorts of profiles... OEM, Cherry, XDA, DSA, SA and others...
Just bought the Womier it looks amazing. Hopefully it feels great to type on...
I'm thinking abt getting the 1st one I've been wanting it
Womier began adding the 2-in-1 gasket to the board! No need to disassemble
I've been seeing the RK61 and the MageGee 60% MK-box everywhere...any idea what one i should buy?
you have to pull every keycap and switch and then put it in and it makes it sound quieter but some people like the clickity sound so they don't install it.
currently using womier v-k66 it sounds amazing for 25 dollars its an amazing deal its gasket mounted i have the white and grey one with some accent keys like enter space and esc being yellow red and light blue incredibly customizable rgb
it looks really good but its 60%... and im a gd player so i need the up arrow smh
@@cyrulmao actually its 65%
I have a 60% mageegee mechanical red switch from Amazon recommended. I really like it
Yep I've seen those and wonderd if they were good, I was going to try them in a PC bundle I was selling. I have 60% boyi with hot-swappable red switches myself, It's a lot like a ducky and when I got it from Amazon warehouse I payed $25 dollars for it, a new one goes for $75. I hated the Joker theme I really thought I would like it, but I didn't, so I looked in my closet and found some black reddragon key caps off my old one, slipped those on it and I love it now! I would recommend it but only if the person is sure about the colors matching their setup.
Crazy because im literally just started looking at keyboards
im pretty shure on the magegee you turn the nob to customize the RGB
Hello. I find that the problem is the shipping. The original price of the keyboard I wanted was $36 but it ended up costing $58.

Nice video!
