    • I'm not too sure about that. Lebron got do alot of things and that is what made him different in that era, now days players come out of college knowing how to do alot more than just one thing compared to back then. An example a center just posted up, rebound, took hook shots etc, now they're passing like guards, and leading fast breaks. Not to mention the NBA is catered to euro type basketball now days with more structure and rules that make it easier for slow, none athletic guys to be good. Back in the early 2000s most players had to have some kind of athletic ability to compete at a high-level. Guys are also training now right out of middle school, and got all types of things available that wasn't available when lebron was young.

It’s crazy to witness that he has no controversy off the court. As far as I know, he got everyone in his circle right. Has a great relationship with his momma, amazing wife and kids, and his high school buddies are still super close to him. To be able to accomplish all of that while having so much pressure on the court seems impossible. I don’t know all the greats in every sport but it seems like Lebron is in a class of his own when you consider everything. You could argue that his accomplishments off the court is even greater than what he did on the court 😭 Dude had all the money, fame, and attention while so many wanted to see him fail but he still basically got everything right.

  • carlos boozer couldve been a karl malone 2.0 had he stayed with the cavs, and the money wouldve eventually came... he had a solid basketball career, but i believe he had the potential to be so much better... simply because his game translated the best with the kind of player lebron james is, carlos boozer was a better player than drew gooden and lebron was able to help make gooden better after boozer left... boozer played better defense than gooden, had a better basketball iq, was better off picks and screens, and overall better basketball intangibles... shouts to gooden, he was a fan favorite for the cavs and meshed well with lebron as best he could... but boozer was always someone i thought shouldve stayed put and wouldve been a great building block with the cavs.

  • Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but for me....the Lebron v Kobe debate isn't much of one. Don't get me wrong, KOBE'S place amongst the All time greats is well deserved,& he was an absolute SAVAGE competitor. That being said, if I'm starting a franchise ,& the choice comes down to fresh out of H.S Lebron, or Fresh out H.S Kobe I'm not even thinking twice......Lebron 10 times outta 10. I tell people this regarding both players entry into the league....Kobe in 96: showed " flashes" , and was EAGER to prove that he belonged. Lebron in 03: Gave a tutorial in how the game should be played. He already KNEW he belonged,& played with an I Q, & level of maturity we'd never seen. Their debut NBA games aren't even remotely comparable. Simply put....it took Kobe 3 years in to be where Bron was as a rookie. Kobe's dedication,& development paid off BIG TIME, & deserved every accolade he received. I just push back when the narrative is that Bron took a back seat to him.
