    • NightOwl How do you or LBJ know the same people “hating” on him have nothing going on in their life? It’s just the way it is at times, players have fans who dislike them and love them, he focused on the ones who dislike him too much. Point is any loss he has it seems he can’t deal with it. You’re right though, if you lose, learn from it and keep it moving. No need for all that “well I’m rich and you’re not” mentality.

  • I remember an interview back in 2013 when Lebron said he didn’t play with a loving passion of the game back in the 2010-2011 season. He said he played it out of anger since he was the villain of the nba. You could see it in his body gestures and plays that he was always pissed off. I feel like that was his downside in the finals because his emotions got to him and he couldn’t focus.

    @aaronfix8602@aaronfix86024 жыл бұрын
    • I'm a Lebron fan and that don't make no sense. He did say it but which villain will be standing around confuse. He would be going all out shooting a bunch of bricks at that. His Eastern conference run was one of the greatest on both ends. That Finals can't be no villain.

  • Beating those Philly, Boston and Chicago teams was quite a very good and underestimated run, probably the hardest he faced in the east. It's also interesting to see how his style of play was still closer to young Lebron, with a lot of energy but also very raw. He really reached another level on his comeback to the Cavs, since then his game is way more chirurgical, every movement he does seems calculated to be efficient.

Kyrie also has a single digit finals game. One game does not define a career. LeBron led this series in assists and played horrible for his standards but in no way does his game 4 eliminate him from the goat discussion. If it does then Kareem (most mvps ever, all time scorer) is eliminated as well as kobe. This narrative just has no support.

It’s funny how one finals series win (2016) can somehow put a man into the goat conversation in the eyes of LBJ fans but a bad finals series loss doesn’t....makes sense huh? And for the record, LBJ is nowhere near MJ. He wasn’t in the goat conversation during 2011 and he sure as hell shouldn’t be today but you know the media loves these things.

He had 9 games in which he had at least 35 points while at least shooting 50%, 8 games in which he shot at least 40% from 3 while attempting at least 6. Got robbed of an MVP Playoffs:He beat the 7th seed 76ers in 5 averaging 24-10-6 on 42-25-82%. Then he beat the team that sent him to Miami in 5. Averaging 28-8-3 on 47/44/67%, hitting 3 clutch 3’s to ice the series. Then beat the reigning and defending league MVP in 5, averaging 26-8-6 on 45/39/86%. While “MvP RoSe” shot 35/23/81%. Then in game 1 of the finals LeBron leads the Heat to a win putting up 24-9-5 on 56/80/100%. Then the rest is history.

  • Looking at these highlights, LeBron played so well in the playoffs. But it was that Finals series that he performed terribly. A major hit on his career. I just don't understand why LeBron played so poorly. Maybe it really does have to do with Dallas but seeing as how the Mavericks performed, you'd expect LeBron to do so well against them. After that Finals, I think it's quite clear that LeBron learned something, making him one of the greatest playoffs and finals(even if he has 6 finals losses) performers to ever play the game. If LeBron just did better in that series, he would've had 4 rings.

Like he had something to prove, compared to his first stint in cleveland vs what he became after he lost. I say him losing that finals took him to another level, cuz he had to reflect on himself and better his game. Idk if he would of been nearly as complete as he now if he just steamrolled through dallas like most people figured he would that. Even i thought miami would As a heat fan, 2014 stung more than this one. Im not even mad they lost this finals, they kind of deserved it karma wise
