    • 2018 he was killing it with floaters too but I think lebron adjusts his game depending on what was needed. He was going up against a lot of bigs in the paint in 2012 like roy hibbert, kg, serge ibake, perkins, tyson chandler so rather than finish through them (which he's capable of), he just opted for floaters as to not bang up his body so much in the paint. It worked perfectly because in the finals he went full throttle and was finishing and double clutching like crazy to get his layups off. If he spent the entire playoffs doing that, he would have gassed faster throughout.

The 17 Cavs were worse defensively too, lessening LeBron's transition opportunities. Yet he still managed to get that many dunks on top of higher assists, even after adjusting for pace.

  • I just want to go on record to say this because I am a Michael Jordan fan wholeheartedly I stay in Illinois so that'll never change to me Mike is the goat because of his mentality on the court but I'm looking at LeBron James just viewing everything his character on the court I'm not judging him by these numbers really that everybody keep coming up with I'm judging him on his game because that's how you choose who will go is they can come up with every number that they can but a person can get them numbers and just be getting set up with good shots but would you consider him to go just cuz he got open no you wouldn't you would judge him on how he can transition under pressure and how he can give pressure I will most definitely say LeBron is the New millennium goat I hope he come out of that injury that he's in I think with his ankle or knee or something like that something is going on but he needs to lay back take that score in title and play a few games with his son and if you told him good enough excuse my bad language if he told him well enough he'll be passing the torch to his son instead of somebody else coming along trying to carry the torch that's all I got to say LeBron is a great player our best as we have it right now in this era it's a torch everybody people shouldn't get caught up on who's the greatest overall just count how many grapes and who picked up the torch I see LeBron he got the torch and he just running with it he doing a good job and I just want to add I do think he would have been a great player in Mike's error but he would have probably undoubtedly probably been the second greatest player in Mike's era because Mike has the ability to not want to lose it's a gift and a curse for him but I do think LeBron would have did pretty good pretty damn good if I could say without getting censored I love to have seen him go up against Karl Malone Dennis Rodman Charles Barkley and even Dr j in his later days I would have loved to have seen what he would have done to get around the Pistons Detroit bad boy baby cuz they had an impeccable lockdown defense unless you can come up with something and just make the shot happen like Mike used to that's why they came up with the Jordan rules you can see it and Chuck Bailey's eyes when Jordan stole the ball do it in stepped out of bounds ran back in bounds they threw it to him and he did that half backwards turn wrist flip on Bill Lambert Chuck Daly just look like Lord have mercy what are we going to do he is embarrassing the league he literally went on record and said that but LeBron take that title in everybody can just shut up I would love to have seen him play Lynn Bias the number one pick for the Boston Celtics before he died tragic but I would love to have seen him play laying bias and how that game would go

    • I'm a fan of both but am a lebron guy at heart. Hes from my neck of the woods so I'm biased. I think his versatility sets him apart from everyone. He could literally play 1-4 at extremely high levels. Hes win championships at pg, sf and pf. Whatever position he decided to play, he was automatically near the top at that position. Hes so intelligent that its like he's playing against the game itself at times, like the whole other team, coaches and all. I think lebron has great vision anf passing but so did Mike. They just have different styles. Lebron is capable of scoring at will because he's so.hard to stop at the rim. He could guard inside and out at dpoy levels while Mike was a great perimeter defender. All that to say I think brons versatility makes him the best I've ever seen while mikes drive, mentality, makes him the greatest. Though to be fair, mike got rest that lebron never got. Lebron is the most scrutinized athlete I've ever seen especially coming into social media. Bron just seems completely over it at times did I didn't see that from mike. I think people try to understate brons greatness this late into his career as longevity when it has mostly been sustained excellence. Noone has played this well, this many years into a career. I wish we could've seen them play at the same time. Compsring stats and accolades across eras is apples and oranges. They never played the same competition or under the same rules. I think they'd be ever better in each others eras if that makes sense

    • With all due respect to Jordan's era, LeBron's era is better. Just look at the league right now. There is at least 10 SUPERSTARS (not all-stars) in this league. Besides, the physicality was better back in the day and they allowed hand checking, but LeBron is 250 pounds and would run right through it. Also, the physicality back in the day is severely overrated because of how the Pistons played (especially against MJ). Again, the physicality back in the day was better, but slightly.

    • @@TripleG12398 okay before you ever comment back with a comment like that you say that the guys here or better just cuz you built better. Don't mean you play better. Compare all these people that you're talking about to the elders of the game back in the 80s and the '90s and watch. They didn't look as physically physique as these other people but they were better in a much tougher error. See back then. It was superstars on teams but they didn't go recruiter superstar. Try to go beg him to come play with them or any of that. You just worked with what you had got and if that dude become a good player then that's what happened. So respectfully, LeBron is a bomb he can't win unless he has a bunch of superstars around him and it's been proven. Even when he has that he still can't win. Everybody always try to go to when Jordan was losing in the '80s to magic and and Larry Bird and Isaiah Thomas and all those other teams. All those teams had multiple stars on their team. They beat the bulls but they never stopped. Mike, the team he had those teams were so poor as far as basketball knowledge and physicality on the court. Those guys were let me say they just wasn't the best players to have but they never stopped. Mike, he just kept coming until he got that fresh rookie out of college. A draft pick not. I'm going over here and I'm going to throw a lot of money his way if he come to my team a draft pick who just so happens to want it to be a great player too. And he went under the wing of Mike and next thing you know they took over the NBA but by no stretch of the measure did they go out trying to recruit people. If that was the case they would have went and got shot. Kemp charged Barkley Isaiah Thomas you know they just stacked the deck against people. No they didn't have to do that. They just worked with what they had. And next thing you know Mike just went crazy. Him and the boys and his guys stepped up. They wasn't no high listed high ranked players, but Mike encouraged them to want to win. He wouldn't accept nothing else from his teammates. He didn't care. How great they were because of any moment. Anybody in any sport can become a great player if they put in the work. So respectfully, he's still a. Bum

They're that I'll put any team you got right now up against and I'm not even going to say Chicago because that's a no-brainer we already know they get blew away. I put them up against the '80s Celtics the '80s Lakers the 80s pistons. I guarantee they won't make it. You'll find that these guys can't play basketball and to say that it's a tougher league now when you can't even blink at a dude and you get a file but back then you got whooped up on like y'all was in a hockey game basically and the numbers were still better or about the same as the guys. Now bottom line the league is weak. LeBron shows you is weak. He flop until they just give him his way. Who does that? Where's the greatness in that? Where is the greatness and shying away from contact because you don't want to go to the free throw line LeBron cuz you're not consistent at the free throw line. If you're the greatest you ain't scared of contact you going to get the shot no matter what now. Is he a big physical specimen or not? He playing like he got on panties. We already called them in a dress. This area is better but Russell Westbrook is wearing a dress. Almost all of them carry these. Her love ain't no other way to say it. All of them carry purses but this league is better and tougher. It's harder error. No it's not bro. You better do your homework. Do your homework cuz right now you got to f in basketball one-on-one

Every team had a superstar back then. Every team had like two or three except Mike had to wait until he got a fresh out of college. Rookie and with that he turned the league around. He had already was dominating players. His team just wasn't good enough to win but they never stopped. Mike
