Ukraine mobilisation bill leaves long-serving soldiers in limbo • FRANCE 24 English
Ukraine's parliament announced today that President Zelensky has signed into law a controversial new mobilisation bill. The bill aims to boost manpower on the frontlines, as more than 2 years of war with Russia has left soldiers dead, wounded or struggling with fatigue. But the new law does not demobilise long-deployed soldiers leaving them in limbo about when they can return home. Charlotte Hughes reports.
