An extended powerplay that is compatible with this would be awesome
Just got my G915 Tactile and I LOVE it!! I had a G910 that I loved before and this is an improvement in every single metric.
He's so proud and honestly should be ive had this keyboard for 2 weeks and its absolutely phenomenal
Bought this last week I'm in love. I don't think I can go back in a non low profile mech krbd again and the switches are really great. Amazing feedback and actuation, build quality is great, wireless with great battery, absolutely magnificent. If there's a kbrd that can justify this price point I can't think of any other than this one..
I love you mark, very passionate about this gaming industry. Really appreciate you and your products!
Im glad he immediately answered my question as to why it doesnt have a nice smooth leather wristrest like G513 - the thinness remove the need for it.
Keyboard looks really promising. I have another question, though: Since Mr. Starrett is done with G915 project can he please get to working on G13 ver. 2.0? We have been waiting for a long time for a revised G13.
This would be my best preferred keyboard I've been waiting for~
This keyboard is fantastic right out of the box. Super comfortable and incredibly well made.
They pulled a razer, basically a low profile g513 that’s also wireless. Even the wired version is about 200 USD, the light speed technology only adds 50 USD more. I saw this keyboard and was like wow and went to amazon and closed the tab
I have it and it works great. Haven't noticed any lag and the battery life seems pretty great (but while I do game a lot I only use my keyboard with a handful of games).
Just got it, love it!
Include a built in palm rest and move the G buttons away from the control and movement buttons on the left and I'll buy.
Make a TKL-Version with USB-C and I will buy it!
^
There's a G813/G913 listed in the G Hub, that might be the TKL version. EDIT: Nope, nevermind. They're just the G815/G915 for different regions.
THIS
i cannot stress this enough. i refuse to buy a G pro because i want the TKL version of this one!
Havit makes a low profile mechanical keyboard with the exact same switches as the G915. The Havit KB395 is a full-size RGB version and they also make the KB390, which only has white backlighting but is TKL. The full-size RGB version is only $70 and the TKL is only $60. Logitech's new keyboards are MASSIVELY overpriced.
A beautiful keyboard, but can I replace the ctrl switch, for instance, if I wear it out like I would a cherry switch in other gaming keyboards that allow that?
The best thing is a man who's much older than my parents talking about a mechanical gaming keyboard
The "problem" with that keyboard is that it is RGB. That means if you turn of the lighting completely you can barely see any key letter. The keys are simply black in slightly dimmed lighting conditions. If they had managed to have at least a minimum of acceptable visibility of the keys letters and numbers without having the RGB on, this keyboard would be perfectly for me. And for that price the should offer a set of black and white replacement keycaps. Also the secondary assignment on the keycaps like "@" or "µ" should have been much more emphasized in brigther passive imprint color.
will there be a TKL and non-rgb (only white) lighting model?
Best keyboard and battery life that I have used. Thank you!
or just use doubleshot pbt keycaps instead of coatings.
because this keyboard wont be expensive enough....
@@techdude5942 i dont think these gaming brands are that generous in pricing when it come to pricing compare to quality-focus peripherals companies
@@NaPH273 yeah, the price is mainly for the tech and uniqueness. because there is no keyboard like this in the market the price for this is high, jsut by nature of having 0 competition. also, they do coating to match keyboard with more language, still no excuse for no pbt at that price tho
The dumb thing is that Lightspeed isn't needed for Keyboards. Mice benefit a lot from Wireless because they have no cable drag. However with a keyboard it isn't needed because you dont move your keyboard. Also Logitech has kind of separated themselves from the market with their weird switches אור פאר
@@heart4011 you wrong about not needing lightspeed. this board is made for 2 kinds of people, ones who want a slick setup with no cables what so ever and ones who want wireless to use from afar. even if I take my chair back and put my legs on the table I want the keyboard on my lap and wireless is the way to go. what about a bed/couch setup and more. what about portability, cables make portability a little worse.
Mechanical G13 please! Cheers :)
Please make a %60 version of this keyboard
moving my G613 to my Mac mini, and adding this bad boy in a few days when it arrives to my R9 3950x machine.... daddy excited for a new toy!!!
does this thing have the flow feature?
Does anyone know how to get the mac command, control keys for this keyboard?
"30 hours of battery life, which means for normal users 1-2 weeks of gaming time" maybe 1-2 days
If you can drain the 30 hour battery in a day you must be a epic gamer legend
From 1-2.weeks to 1-2 days😂😂😂
Im not even gonna lie to you, thats not even unrealistic lol
after 5 months the usb receiver stopped working.. never took it out and worked fine till now. just stopped working. tested a lot of things to check.. if i don't get any help from the shop or logitech think about this b4 buying
Wonderful
if you wonder you are getting G915 tactile or clicky version, you can save your time to test it on store, they give you random both version of switch for this keyboard, sometime tactile, sometime clicky, just annoying different sound for different key.
This keyboard honestly probably is the best keyboard I’ve ever used! Yes it’s a little wider than what I’m used to but not by much. It’s expensive but then again the k95 platinum is $200. I mainly like it because it also allows me to use it with my iPad and other pc.
G815 How Do I add macros to alphabet keys not just the G keys on the left please help!!!
TKL version. I dont wanna get the PRO G :(
I want to buy a new gaming keyboard, decide between logitech g613 or g915 lightspeed But I can't decide😔. The logitech g915 lightspeed is to expensive idk if is worth it 🤔
This with a TKL-Version, less G-/macro-keys and USB-C (I still dont get it, it‘s 2019!), I would buy it in an instant.
Havit makes a low profile mechanical keyboard with the exact same switches as the G915. The Havit KB395 is a full-size RGB version and they also make the KB390, which only has white backlighting but is TKL. Neither of them have the useless macro keys. The full-size RGB version is only $70 and the TKL is only $60. Logitech's new keyboards are MASSIVELY overpriced.
@@kevindam1946 thanks for the suggestion! I will be getting a Havit instead :)
@@sakonpure6 You're very welcome! I have one and it's amazing, my favorite keyboard ever. Low-profile mechanical is amazing, but only when you don't have to spend over $200 to get it ;)
It’s here
They did all of that except the usb c part 😒, got the tlk tactile version when it came out, I thought I wouldn’t like it cause I came from mx Cherry, and I didn’t until I used it for the first time, it’s crazy
It’s very aesthetically pleasing to look at with its minimal design - despite the logo -and brushed aluminium frame. However, a TKL version coupled with the removal of repositioning of the “G” logo would be an instant buy for me. Likewise, the “Lightspeed” section also takes away from its otherwise beautiful minimal design - I don’t know whether that exact part can be reduced or repositioned to make it look as minimal as the wired version. Nevertheless, a beautiful keyboard that looks very pleasant to type with its different switches.
Did u get the TKL version?
Now if they make a PowerPlay compatible G915 Lightspeed and also make an XL or XXL PowerPlay mouse pad. 😍
If this comes out in a 60, 65, or even tkl (keep g keys please) with USB type-c I am buying instantly. Keep the caps lock keycap design. I also wouldnt mind an ISO enter. Lastly the g915 "flat sides" of the casing are a bit sharp and could use a nice chamfer or something lol.
In love with this keyboard. Only main flaw is Micro-USB, if they launch a refreshed version with USB C and improve feedback from volume wheel at a $200 price, everyone will be buying it no questions asked!
10 keyless please.
what is the difference between this and g913?
Please say hello to Mark for me, please. Tell him I just got my 915 and it is fantastic :-)
I liked this
Gimme gimme that 60% and I’ll throw so much money at it. Especially with lightspeed wireless speeds??? My set up will look soooo clean
Lacking a 10kl version of this just ruins it for me. I appreciate the effort and it's still high up on my list but man I only use my number pad when I'm typing in my cc buying stuff
Can I use this on ps4
work on ubuntu?
TKL pls
how is Different from 913 ?
Why doesn't it work with Ps4?
Logitech please re-release g700s mouse... prices on ebay have gone crazy.
Considering its price, I personally think there should be a little screen that displays the remaining battery life.
Please make a white version of it
I want a short version so bad with out macro's
Havit makes a low profile mechanical keyboard with the exact same switches as the G915. The Havit KB395 is a full-size RGB version and they also make the KB390, which only has white backlighting but is TKL. Neither of them have the useless macro keys. Make it tkl :(
i woudl like a tenkeyless wireless lightspeed keyboard with +40 hs of battery, it would be insane
and type c!!!!!
Blizzard Wind lucky to find a type C on a case let alone a keyboard. Very little reason for one especially on a wireless
Mine is auto typing please help
Are you being razer?
For $250, it’s utterly ridiculous this keyboard isn’t compatible with the PS4 Pro. Make this universal, and release a driver for the PS4 IMMEDIATELY please 🙄
Love your keyboards! Using them since more then 10 years. But PLEASE get rid of GHub and give us LGS back. I'm almost thinking about leaving logitech just because of that :-(
Make this TKL, 60%, or 70% with no macros, and I'll buy.
give us mechanical g13 ?
I never understood the point of a wireless keyboard unless you were couch gaming. Wireless mice, all day, you eliminate cable drag from movement, but the keyboard sits there. I do really like the aesthetics of this though.
@Vincent Tuminello yea, i guess they're also the way to go if youre going for a really clean looking desk
Poor battery life. You also forgot to mention it's a micro usb port. Charging $250 and you still refuse to pay an extra $1-2 in material for type-c?
Wait what really? Why no type C? I hate my stupid micro usb on G903, I even considered adding a permanent adaptor but it was even more inconvenient
Try 3-5 per keyboard andddddd 3-5 adds up after x amount of unit lets say 1000 thats 3-5k out of 250k before subtracting the switch cost and lets say thats 10$ per unit and another 5$ for the keycaps. Thats 15k more so thats 20k off the top. Lets keep going. Ok the usb c cable aint free lets take a lowball here and say 2$ per unit 2000. 22k out of 250k Now lets say the pcb silk screening takes 15$ a pop thats another 15k, now we need to solder them thats 5k for a 1000 units. lets say another 5k for the leds and thats 47k before paying for logistics, research cost, paying staff, paying taxes, Needing to make a profit. Ya get the gist that it adds up quick.
Alsooooo i still want usb c too. It was his define thing that made me say no
@@Dracossaint 1. $2-3 per keyboard minus $1-2 cost of micro. You're not going to have switch cost for each keyboard, and it isn't going to be that much. Your cable might cost $1-2 more than micro. Your silkscreen isn't going to be an ADDITIONAL 15 per unit, etc etc etc... Just no.
@@Dracossaint It's not 3-5 because micro usb is 1-2, so it's actually 1-2. Also, you forgot to add the cost of warranty for broken micro usb connectors, which are less durable and more prone to breaking by trying to connect it the wrong way, even worse if you consider angry gamers pluging their keyboards with rage after losing a game because of low battery. Also, the cost of many people like myself, yourself and many others who won't be buying this keyboard just because of this. It's a plain stupid move from Logitech.
Make a Cherry LP switch version and I will buy it. Kailh Choc switch has so many issues due to poor design. Writing with G913=G915.
I had a sad moment with my g910 spectrum, when i push some letters double !! Like aa, ee, vv! I tried to talk to logitech noway, so no more g keyboard, time to switch to corsair
I used to have the same problem, had to download the logitech g hub instead of logitech gaming software, wich is sad cuz i like LGS more, g hub feels incomplete
@@cotabamsame here, switch from software to g hub, i have g935 and g502 but the keyboard is garbage!
@@TheKookyman just get a ducky or a pok3r keyboard. Logitech is mostly only good for their mice
Give us a ultra light mouse
We need for short version no Num pad like g pro
Only 30 hours!? That sucks.
Wtf! 250!$ wow
Looks great and I love the low profile design! But for now I will stick with my 50$ mechanical keyboard and save the 250$ this bad boy costs.
This keyboard is way too overpriced. Check out the Havit KB395, it uses the same Kailh Choc Low Profile switches (GL switches are just rebranded Kailh switches), is RGB, just as thin, takes up even less desk real estate, high quality, for only $70. This G815/G915 is over THREE times as expensive. The Havit also comes in a TKL version, which this does not.
Please make the secondary keys light up.. and usb c would be nice
Logitech please, OH PLEASE! Make me a propper vertical gaming mouse 🥺 I PROMISE the gaming community will get into it as soon as they try it. Because it just moves better! Btw: I have carpal tunnel syndrome and I have only ever used Logitech "ergonomic" mice (I am your most loyal customer) so you owe me! 😉 Also: Why have you never incorporated "flow" into your gaming mice and keyboards? A lost of gamers have a dual setup so I'm sure it would fly off the shelves
Please make a version without the macro keys and the numpad. I would buy it in a heartbeat.

Good. Now make the entire faceplate stealthy matte black like Razer's then I'll buy it.
Look up the Havit KB395. Uses the same switches as this keyboard, RGB, has a matte black aluminum backplate, and is only $70, ONE-THIRD the price of this overpriced Logitech keyboard.
Now make it 60% and I'll throw my money at you
same
One thing that I know, it's very expensive.
Looks really cool, but micro usb??? Really????? That’s just weird
especially for the price !
grunchi de trap the port has only one function and has no benefit from Type C.
damn that keyboard is long af
Why are the linears not existing in the CH - Edition....logitech was once a swiss company and now you dont even produce anymore our layout even we would have enough money to buy this expensive piece of aluminium....
Very misleading promotion of this video. It told me NOTHING about what I needed to know, like how to recharge it, how to control the lighting and what some of the buttons on the top left are for. HELP!
I love this keyboard but I hate the fact there's no type C. It's the only deal breaker for me.
why
He is an idiot, for what he need type c???for use with cable that keyboard? :D amazing idea!!!
$250 USD ..... no thanks
$250 and no official switches...🤔
Those are "official" just an exclusivity from Kailhua instead of Cherry, and to be honest Cherry is overrated.
Soooooo disappointing that it's not compatible with PS4 😭
Get a ps4 keyboard or controller or better yet build a better pc.
Why would u need it for ps4
it's all fun and games until you buy one and want to install the g hub.
Logitech keyboards, douuble tappingg.
The quality of the Keycaps is poor, they are not conventional. Legs break easily and there is no way to find replacements but import them from China and this may take several months.
Wish it took AA batteries to last.
The only thing is know is that this keyboard is Overpriced
Loved it until I noticed the macro keys on the side, now it's useless to me...

why should i game with a low profile full size wireless keyboard? you have to focus on one of 2 things: productivity or gaming, not both... and please start using common switches like cherry, gateron or kailh if it is wireless it's okay, but i would buy a 60%/tkl kb with standard keycaps and switches, you should consider even hot swappable pcb's to make it more versatile
It uses kailh switches.
@@Notblind808 When/where is it mentioned?
Alessandro Pitasi it uses kailh switches. I’m not going to hold your hand and walk you to other reviews on KZhead.
The GL switches are kailh choc switches. Almost no reviews mention that but its obvious if you look at the switch. Logitech likes to rename the switches for some reason. So your gx blue switches are actually kailh too.
@@pitasialessandro Kaihua makes Kailh
Ohh god will i be able to buy ur??
TKL. USB-C. Then i will buy it
Price? 500€+? xD
$250. GFY

And logitech spends 6.years for this trash klick sound. The only item that the do right ar the mice the rest is all trash! We want silante keybords!
It's spelt silent, and nobody who actually plays games wants a silent keyboard, clicking is what we want
You can reed it or not?
pee yellow M keys
Everyone uses 60% now a days
Yeah I just bought one yasterday
Not really. But for gamers and some other people, the numberpad is pretty unnecessary so 60% and tkl are perfect. Also they they are way smaller and more portable than full size (sorry for my bad Eng)
Speak for yourself and your tiny hands!

and yet you still can't properly fix your firmware for your ghub LOL
