I use to love the 303 but always felt I was the only one. Mine died last years afters years or service. Used a g102, a g703 and a gloriousO but never felt the shape was as great as the 303. Glad to see the model back and wireless
I hated the 703, I made me hold the mouse cooked to the left at all times so I had to go diagonally to do a flat turn
you probably just have to change out the switch to make it work again, mine has been through hell and still working after all these years
The gameplay shot with the faded mouse clip is so creative and really shows how the mouse slaps.
Just typing away an essay while I have this on the side then all I heard is, "You can choose to just completely remove the butt plug, it does come out with some force!" That got me off guard, luckily I didn't have my speakers loud, otherwise, it would've made sense if I had a proper video up that corresponds to what he says.

We need more mice with tilt scrolling. Picked up a Basilisk and being able to map extra game functions to them feels great. Dont think I could go back

I remember getting the 303 before I knew Shroud existed. Great mid tier mouse. Light, effective, and accurate. I used it up until last year. Best mouse I ever owned.
If you replaced it with another model, then it is not the best mouse. Kidding.. Anyway, what brand/model did you replace it with?

The butt plug is actually a really nice idea to store the usb. Though putting it there at that particular location instead of the traditionaly under the mouse seems a little bit questionable through it may be harder to use a magnetic way to store the usb if so. As a guy whose stuff doesn't really break, all the wireless mice which have a compartment to store the usb eventually comes loose and falls off during use. This remedies that and I hope there future mice also have this feature.

i disagree this feature seems over engineered for no reason. its bulking and just brings unnecessary weight

Holy crap, I hoped it would come out soon, but I didn't expect it, like, now! Literally yesterday watched boardzy review the wired version.
this kinda nice. for me symmetrical mice are the way to go. eventhough the hand isn't symmetrical, it helps so much with developing a consistent grip and also having a consistent feel when flicking it around side to side

i had no idea this mouse was even a thing until like 2 days ago. i had a daedalus apex when it came out and it was my favorite mouse to date my messed up on me after they discontinued and i never thought about it again. thank you logitech and shroud.
At last the time has come it was long awaited and too many woes with finding a replacement to the original I haven't gamed properly in years, I rebuilt my g303 twice with g302s thank God 🙏
Maan, I just managed to cop a Starlight 12 last week and now Shroud releases this? I used the G303 from like 2015-2019 and absolutely loves it. Had no idea it went for $400 on resale though.

been waiting for this mouse to come back. No i did not buy it in the beginning because of shroud. I really loved the smallness and the angle it gave my hand. I did not know they discontinued it or it was selling for 400$. I still have it all used. I am a x superlight user and I did head on his stream talking about a super light version. and if thats the case im switching. That grip you get you can not get on another mouse. trust..
The MX Master 3 / MX Anywhere 3 mice have been USB-C for a while from Logitech for now.

I actually prefer the "dongle drawer" and for only two grams, thats not much of a difference personally. The only set back for me is the price. I'd pick it up if it was $100.

Agreed on the drawer. Idk why ppl care soooooo much about it on a mouse that wasn't trying to go on an extreme diet. It's well worth the money if you have issues with say the g pro its a good one. If your issue is ur too big to grab that shape the same way twice and always have something slipping off and dragging. The repeatability of grip is huge if you've never had it before on modern wireless. The sensor placement is just so right tbh.

i would want a light (around 80gr) wireless Logitech G502 with a bit of better materials (especially the side walls) + PTFE or glass feet that's all
im in line for a new mouse, have the basilisk v2, (scroll wheel is jumping), but now im stuck between getting a new lighter mouse. Would you recommend the g303 over the razer viper ultimate, g pro superlight or the wireless g502?
I got a g303 when they first came out but it finally gave out 3 days ago. Best mouse I've ever owned hands down. If I could get another original g303 I would, I just gotta hope the Shroud version lives up to its predecessor.
I ordered mine as soon as it went live with Best Buy. Pick it up in 6 days.
Should've sold mine back then I just loved to flex it and really loved how I gripped it

Saw this. Got excited. Saw the price... Maybe Ill just go get a G604 or something. I have large hands long skinny fingers so I have a difficult time finding a comfortable mouse. Especially since I dont really like claw grip but the average mouse I need to claw grip. Ive been using a G602 for several years but the battery runs down fast as the sensor that wakes it from sleep keeps it on constantly and the battery only lasts a few weeks where it used to last months.
Where does this stand in your current main/tier list frankp?
Wish all of Logitech’s mice had dual connectivity (Bluetooth + Lightspeed Wireless) like the G603 & G604. Maybe even triple connectivity like the Raze Naga Pro.

Nice review Frank, like always. I personally am ok with a couple grams on the "butt plug", but then again I'm someone who doesn't mind slightly heavier mice. Side note, Frank you shred in Battlefield! Every time I see you play it's crazy how accurate you are sniping!

Mine arrived a few days ago and I love the mouse but I'm really disappointed as mine didn't bring shroud skills in the box.
I vaguely remember this old mouse thought it was shaped weird. But it looks like the weird cousin of the g305 and I thought the g 305 was odd at first but it's my favorite mouse kinda wanna try this out
Rumor is the small circles on the sides of the mouse are where shroud puts his fingers. Not sure if it’s true but if it is it’s nice attention to detail

Nature whites, relatively new switch by cherry, but it's a touch heavier then reds. Imo blacks are gonna be way too heavy for you if you just want a BIT heavier. Gaming on blacks for MOST people will fatigue fingers

The “butt plug” is one of my favorite things about the mouse. I take it to work and I’ve already lost a dongle before so it’s crucial to me.
Had for like 5 years a G302 Deadelus Apex, now just got my G303 Shroud edition, little bit bigger and longer, but still fit to my small hands. If you like this diamond shape and you can get used to it, its your mouse.

Safe to say he will use this, the only reason he stopped using the g303 is because wireless is just better when the g pro came out wasn't any reason to stay with the old g303, only reason I stopped using the old wired one, wireless is the future and wired is just old hat.
I remember seeing people say that he started using it a couple of months ago and that’s why he changed his camera angle so that the mouse didn’t leak.

Cool to see USB C on Logitech! However, I was hopeful it would be lighter than the G Pro X, as it is smaller :/ Still looking foward who will do the small, light and "hole-less" design first - Razer or Logitech Nonetheless, I loved my 303, and I'm glad to see it coming back. Definitely would be a buy if it was lighter

@@JutKip Pretty much preference :) I play in a very low sensitivity, so I am constantly moving my mouse and a lighter mouse helpa a whole lot ;)
@@Delbs1 eh, I think sub 80g is good enough for most people. I play 0.5-0.6 sens CSGO at 1k, so I'm no stranger to low DPIs.
Probably because Shroud doesn't like the mouse too light. He said he preferred the OG GPX than the super light.

Does this use the same switches like other Logitech mice? I’m not buying another Logitech until the fix their switches. I’ve went through 5 g903s in less that 4 years.
Just ordered mine. I'm coming over from using the Razer Deathadder Elite and the Deathadder v2. The reason i like these mice is because i have larger hands (longer fingers) and Razer matched up great with me. I've tried the G Pro wireless as well as the Model O Wireless (which i liked because of weight) but none of those wireless mice really fit my hand (right) well. When i first saw this on Shrouds stream it looked perfect for my hand at first sight. Sight is the first aspect of a mouse that attracts you to it and the width and length looked perfect. Anyways Amazon had a one day shipping so i jumped on it haha i will let you know how it feels!

The original G303 also had quite serious quality issues that Logitech did not fix. I liked the shape, but could not keep it because of this. Good to have the choice again now, albeit with slightly different dimensions.

7:21 I can't tell if he is joking or being serious with that statement xD he explained it as if the mouse has physical recoil every time you shoot in game, the only thing that effects the drag down is sensitivity.
I think he might be alluding to the fact that since the weight is on the back, it feels more comfortable dragging down with the mouse (dont take my word for this idk what he meant either lol)
