Godzilla is one of the most popular movie monsters of all time, which means every once in a while, a new Godzilla movie comes out! With the craze of cinematic universes popularized by Marvel- Warner Bros set out to launch the Monsterverse in 2014 with Godzilla, directed by Gareth Edwards.
Godzilla definitely raises some questions though. Like why is Bryan Cranston killed off so early and unceremoniously? Why are we now following his much less interesting army son, who just kind of follows the action? Why is Godzilla kind of teaming up with humans? Why is he in charge of balancing nature? Why aren’t we getting to see the actual fights? Why doesn’t Godzilla use that atomic breath move all the time? How fast in that little whalewatching boat?!
To answer all these questions and more, step inside the Pitch Meeting that led to Godzilla! It’ll be super easy, barely an inconvenience.

  • What an incredible cast of memorable characters this movie has. There's Wife Nurse Mother, Soldier Son Father, Let Them Fight, and Bryan Cranston.

At times, He is profaned by those who claim to follow Him but do not act in His will. They do evil and say it is His will when it is not. God will not let His name remain profaned. He will make unbelievers know that He is God and that He is good. Maybe you know someone who drags God’s name through the mud. That can be frustrating and even infuriating to watch. Take heart. God is mightier than them. He will make Himself known. /prayer+ LORD, You are mighty and good. You will make Your character known. Show Your might to the nations. Make unbelievers tremble at the knowledge of You. Show them You are God. You have the power to do anything. Let Your will be done. Let men bow before You and know that You are God. I have heard of Your mighty works, and I have seen some of Your mighty works firsthand. Act mightily in Your creation. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

And then shorten the name of the third movie to just Godzilla. Also, having Kong as the second movie resulted in a 5-year gap between the first and third, which have the same characters.
