The Monsterverse kicked off back in 2014 with Godzilla and was followed up by Kong: Skull Island and Godzilla: King of the Monsters-- all of which were leading up to a big showdown in Godzilla vs. Kong. Well, the movie where the big monkey punches the big reptile is finally here.
Godzilla vs. Kong definitely raises some questions though. Like how did technology become straight-up magic in the past few years? How did Jia secretly teach sign language to a giant monkey that was under constant supervision? What’s the point of the Millie Bobby Brown storyline? What’s up with that weird wormhole? Why is no one affected by the literal GLOWING radiation around them? Did Godzilla just chuckle?
To answer all these questions and more, step inside the Pitch Meeting that led to Godzilla vs. Kong! It’ll be super easy, barely an inconvenience.

    • The way it's made is probably intentional that he laughs but when you look at the face of a cat from below, their cheeks make it looks like they laugh. This could be the case the way Godzilla's mouth is shape and the angle you look at it. Now of course he had some proudness in his face from hitting Kong and the "he he he" roar could have just pass as a variant of all the roars he makes. But yeah, defenitly intentional.

      @GuitaristFrankCC@GuitaristFrankCC2 жыл бұрын
    • @@GuitaristFrankCC Ok Reddit user 😏 What you saying makes perfectly sense, but in real life. If you go back and rewatch the the movie (which I did) at 1:24:30 you will definitely see he's laughing, and not a pretty laugh either, more like a villain. This laugh is definitely intentional cause it's a CGI movie and everything is intended, hence the director wanted that.

Something about Apex taking advantage of Ghidorah’s regenerative abilities where tossed in there too, but I don’t remember the how. San (or Kevin) was the name for the head that Godzilla tore off of Ghidorah in there ocean fight, which was recovered mostly intact by some fisher boat and was bought by Tywin (don’t remember his name) in the post credit scene in KotM. • @@kushagraagrawal7292 That is absolutely not what they tried to show. What they showed was that they hooked up King Gidorah's skull up to Mechagodzilla's controls and his living tissue/cells took over the system. Remember he has crazy regeneration (like growing back his head in the last film), so even if you only have the skull there is still bone marrow etc... Now for why they needed King Gidorah's skull for Mechagodzilla - who the hell knows. ;-)
