Fun fact: the US army itself was sort of a product placement. The army pays to be portrayed in good light for a significant portion of some films

@@qwertyboguss OP's wording is weird but basically the US military has a massive media division that works with Hollywood production companies to help films who want to feature tech/equipment the military has so long as the military gets script approval. They allow some minor criticisms or parody of the armed forces but are known to turn down films that are overly critical or that the media arm says won't substantially boost enrollment/the brand image of the military.

The funniest thing about these movies is that the more you hear their plots out loud; the more your brain starts working on how you'd improve them and make a way superior movie.
Easy way to fix a lot of the cluttered plot issues: keep Megatron dead for awhile. At least up through Dark of the Moon. Megatron wasn't needed when it could've just been Sentinel and Shockwave

I mean if two sixteen-year-olds start dating and they stay together for more than two years, unless they have the exact same birthday, at some point one of them is going to be an adult dating a minor. But, surely that can't be illegal?
@@christianellegaard7120 varies from state to state but in Texas if there's more than a 6 month age difference your technically guilty. Also worth noting that federal child porn lies apply if any explicit photos are shared regardless of how small the age difference.

The entire plot of transformers 1 hangs on a pair of glasses surviving over 100 years with little to no damage. Glasses. 100 years. Really.
I need to buy at least one new pair every year because of them breaking or getting lost, and the most dangerous thing I do is bicycle to work, not polar exploration. I had two new pairs of prescription sunglasses last year because I fell asleep with then on, ended up laying on them, and they broke beyond the powers of Specsavers to repair. The Witwicky glasses lasting 100 years is the least believable part of this movie about an intergalatic alien robot car war.
They build things much more sturdy that days. There is no quality any more. Although I think its kind of odd that grandpa Witwiky... witywk... wikipedias grand-dad has kept the glasses after they got ruined by the worlds first laser.

@@meghanachauhan9380 Are you talking about glasses as in the physical formation of glass, or about glasses as in seeing aides invented by humans? Because the latter hasn't even existed for a million years yet, and I'm no material scientist but I'm not sure that the kinds of glass that are naturally occurring are actually in conditions that let them last millions of years. Only kinds I can think of are Libyan desert glasses which were formed by literal meteorite impacts, which are way more force intensive than the processes used in making modern eyeware

An unintentional detail that I like about these videos is that the company doesn't even listen to the entire script, they just get the gist and say "Sounds good to me"
I love how Producer Guy would rather get off Screenwriter Guy's back than buy him a DVD player. 🤣🤣🤣
I love how all the transformers have weapons capable of completely destroying each other easily, yet they only fist fight until the story wants one of them dead, then they just raise their weapon and shoot their head off....Characters that only use their overpowered weapons at the very end of movies are tight.

It's interesting to see the evolution of these videos, especially since the one for "The Last Knight" was made three years before "Age of Extinction."
That caught me off guard, I had completely forgotten how different the old Pitch Meetings were ,Ryan George has really fine tuned his craft. The videos sound completely different too

It's incredibly subjective tho. For example, I LOVE the Bayformers. I think that they are some of the most coolest series of films ever made and I will die on that hill. But you guys can have your own opinions :D

Transformers - Rise of the Fallen is like one of my favorite movies of all time. In college whenever I was hangover (which was pretty much a couple times a week) I always watched it. It's such a braindead movie and imo it is the GOAT of all "movies to watch when hangover". You can watch it without using a single brain cell. it's a masterpiece.
It's a good movie if your brain refuses to watch it with you.

I still vote for the Bourne movies, they can turn into a compilation just like this one. There's also Lethal Weapon and the rest of the Die Hard movies (this last option is probably the best seeing how bad the last movies were)
