  • The thing I love most about the Daniel Craig era is how absolutely airtight the plots are. James Bond always had a reputation for shaky scheming and it's a good job this run of movies fixed those problems rather than, say, doubling down on them and making up the script in the middle of shooting in almost every movie to the point that Daniel Craig himself is credited as a screenwriter multiple times. On an unrelated note I invented a time machine and we are living in an altered reality.

    • The only reason I watched Quantum of Solace a second time was because it was so forgettable that I had literally completely forgot that I had seen it before. There’d be occasional scenes that seemed familiar the second time through, so I was like “Oh, I remember this part. Guess I saw parts of it but just never finished it.” All the way through the ending, where I realized that no, in fact I did not miss parts of the movie. I had watched the entire thing and forgotten that I’d done so, because it was so unremarkable.

  • Both hilarious, and a fantastic plot summary of all the Craig Bond films. I feel like I have a much better understanding of what the plot actually was now than I did after watching the actual films. Especially Quantum of Solace, where I literally could not have described the plot beyond 'he fights some people and a fancy hotel in Bolivia catches fire'.

    • I think 007 is a bit more reckless than the others, though. They probably find more subtle ways to blow up buildings and space stations.
