  • I’m so glad I found this video. I just did my hair with the new reckon plus for the first time and it looked dull to me. But going over the ends and doing my bangs this way immediately revamped it!!!

  • Great video!! Your hair is beautiful! I have long layers too and my hair stylist said that one side usually flares better and curls more than the other. I had the same confusion about it!

  • So I have very dry, curly hair naturally- and I just wanted to thank you because your routine still definitely applied and worked the same way for my hair, which is also cut like yours! P.S for my dry curly hair pals; I recommend a hydrating curling cream while your hear is damp and then going in with a little bit of oil after you finish complete blow drying it. Adds shine and the curling cream adds more protection against frizz (and also keeps the blowout style locked in)!

  • So refreshing to see a girl who doesn't use fancy shampoos and has beautiful hair 😻 and this is coming from someone who buys expensive products but at the end of the day it's wasted money! I have bought the Revlon dryer this morning, can't wait to try it!

    • Keep in mind she's also probably just blessed with great hair. If you don't naturally have great hair you will need to use fancier products.

  • Thanks. I have a similar hair texture and length to yours so helpful to see how it falls as I will never get the Uber bounce of the thicker/shorter haired ladies. This feels simple and elegant. Do you ever bother trying to get volume at the top of your head through the back? Or is it useless with your hair texture? Cheers!

  • Cheaper shampoos/ conditioner have silicone in them that appear to be softening and smoothing your hair so you think it works, however it’s actually doing more damage. There are still affordable ones at the drugstore however you have to be careful and check ingredients. I use the hairitage brand and it’s at Walmart it’s free from all those bad ingredients and my sister who struggles with frizzy hair loves it! My sister was using super cheap shampoos as well and she told me she always goes back as well but I told her you need to switch. I hope you find one that works other than the suave ❣️

  • I think it blows way too hot! I can only use it on low otherwise my hair is so hot it burns my hand.

    • Usually for my bangs I try using something with a smaller barrel. Curlers can also help !

    • You can use texture spray or dry shampoo for the lasting volume! Spray while your hair is at your desired volume and it should stay- mine does especially with texture spray

    • Curls are hard to achieve as I own this. However, my blowouts last 3-4 days until I wash my hair. Thiis is coming from someone with thick, hard to manage hair.

    • Try doing the same piece over and over until it’s completely dry and smooth it with ur fingers/ hands since u have natural oils it might help smooth the hair
