  • Every blow dryer brush company should definitely have you as their spokesperson along with this video. It was so thoroughly informative as you took your time explaining to us the correct way to use the brush. I always wondered what I was doing wrong, I was drying my hair too much with the blow dryer, not rotating the brush enough. and not using smaller sections. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

  • This is THE BEST tutorial for drying hair and getting volume I’ve ever seen. You explained everything at a tempo that was methodical, easy to follow, and showed us how to do it on our own heads. Most KZhead stylists demo on a manikin or a model which does not help the person who actually has to style the hair on her own head. So thank you!

Thank you so much for such a helpful tutorial. I think this will change the way I dry my hair every day.

  • I can't relay to you how your video has completely changed my hair relationship!! I was going to cut it all short again, but no need now. I also have super fine Marcia Brady hair and can get my entire bob in a tiny clip as well so thank you for sharing that yours is similar which gave me hope to try this. Most online videos are just built on fabulousness versus the real day-to-day struggles. Truly I thank you. ❤

  • Fantastic tutorial! I have struggled for ages with everything you mentioned - and I too have thick curly/wavy hair! I just bought a new dryer brush so this tutorial is very timely! I always did the bottom section (back and sides) then worked up from there in sections. Can’t wait to see how your directions for the crown work out too as I have a crazy cowlick there (back top crown on my right where the hair lies super flat and parted opposite ways at the root)! Thanks so much!

  • Hi Gabi, This popped up when I was looking for best ways to use a round brush. Thank you ever so much for explaining everything so carefully. The one thing I took away from your post is I was not holding the brush long enough until the hair was completely dry. I was taking the brush away too quickly and was left with the frizz. Thanks again from Jenn Vancouver, Canada.

Usually I look great for the first 3 days and then back to my unglossy, unlisted “normal”. The root lifter, the application of volumizer to the mid and ends, and the Mohawk (genius) took it next level. I can’t thank you enough!

  • Thank you for this video, which has made a HUGE difference to the look of my hair over the past month, and has also streamlined my routine. Day 1- styling brush, texture spray. Night of Day 1, comb out texture spray, put hair in telephone tie for sleep. Day 2 and 3- style with texture spray, no heat. AMAZING results for 2A hair with a tendency to misbehave. 🥰

  • You look gorgeous--makeup, hair, skin. Thanks for a really excellent tutorial. Love it! Seems doable though I have thick, textured, long hair (2-3 inches past shoulder) that I have never been able blow dry. I have a weekly appt at a local salon and they wash and blow my hair (and color) and it lasts for the week. Again, love what you demonstrated here.

  • Thanks for the tips! I use my hair dryer brush a lot and love it! It saves so much time! But I didn't know about the "mohawk section" and how to dry each part forward and backward like that. I am definitely trying that next time. Also, I think I use my flat iron on too high of heat sometimes. It really flattens the hair too much and makes it look too piecey.

  • This is exactly what I've always done, but I've never used a blowdryer-brush, just blowdryer + round brush. I can't wait to try the blowdryer-brush. I was a bit intimidated by the size and was never clear on technique but now I see it's exactly the same thing I'm already doing.

    • You will never go back to a round brush and blowdryer again! This is SO SO SO much easier. I feel like I have two left hands now when I try to blow my hair out the traditional way and I am a hairdresser who has been doing this for 17 years lol! I am so confident that you will LOVE this tool.

  • Thank you so much for this video! Your post specifically caught my eye because I have this hair brush / dryer. Also my hair is approximately the same length of yours and absolutely the same texture when it dries naturally! I'm usually fearful of over drying my hair with this brush so I stopped just short of dry and I still end up with a frizzy Lumpy mess. I followed your tutorial exactly and for the first time in a year managed to get my hair the way I wanted it to look with this brush! Abs it's stayed that way all day and night without turning into brillo again! Of course I had to subscribe because this girl knows her business!, thank you so much! ❤
