Every blow dryer brush company should definitely have you as their spokesperson along with this video. It was so thoroughly informative as you took your time explaining to us the correct way to use the brush. I always wondered what I was doing wrong, I was drying my hair too much with the blow dryer, not rotating the brush enough. and not using smaller sections. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Glad it was helpful!
This is THE BEST tutorial for drying hair and getting volume I’ve ever seen. You explained everything at a tempo that was methodical, easy to follow, and showed us how to do it on our own heads. Most KZhead stylists demo on a manikin or a model which does not help the person who actually has to style the hair on her own head. So thank you!
Gabi, This was a REALLY OUTSTANDING Tutorial because you went into the kind of PAINSTAKING detail and Step-by-Step we need to be able to follow your example!! You explaining WHY each step is important is so helpful in giving us TECHNIQUES and TOOLS we need to achieve the look we want!! Thank you so much, Sweetie! 💞
Hands down the best tutorial I've seen using the oval brush! Thank you!!
I did my hair like this, this morning, right down to clipping it back and letting down an inch at a time. Wow! I never thought I could achieve something like this at home, and it was so easy! Thank you so much for such a helpful tutorial. I think this will change the way I dry my hair every day.
I can't relay to you how your video has completely changed my hair relationship!! I was going to cut it all short again, but no need now. I also have super fine Marcia Brady hair and can get my entire bob in a tiny clip as well so thank you for sharing that yours is similar which gave me hope to try this. Most online videos are just built on fabulousness versus the real day-to-day struggles. Truly I thank you. ❤
Omg I'm so glad I found u...I have textured thin wavy frizzy frizzy hair n I'm like no matter what I do I can't get those hairs by my scalp...so now I know to go in w light heat w a straightener ...thank u so much and I'm so glad I know how to use this tool better cuz I was also not using it right..I wasn't sectioning off my hair like you and I was doing mine when my hair was much dryer...I'm so so so so finally glad SOMEBODY WITH FRIZZY TEXTURED HAIR IS SHOWING US GIRLS WHAT TO DO AND UNDERSTANDS OUR STRUGGLE ...now we just need something us frizzy hair girls can do that's super quick so we can get ready in the morning fast and still look like we took forever to get ready!!! That's been one of my goals for a long time and I just can't find a solution
I've been thinking about getting a blow dryer brush. I'm so glad I came across your tutorial. It's so in depth. Exactly what I need. I honestly think you are the best beauty channel. It's like having a best friend show you the ropes. Thank you.
Fantastic tutorial! I have struggled for ages with everything you mentioned - and I too have thick curly/wavy hair! I just bought a new dryer brush so this tutorial is very timely! I always did the bottom section (back and sides) then worked up from there in sections. Can’t wait to see how your directions for the crown work out too as I have a crazy cowlick there (back top crown on my right where the hair lies super flat and parted opposite ways at the root)! Thanks so much!
Gabi's channel is awesome, and her tutorial is spot on. After using a blowdryer brush for years, I thought I knew how to style my hair.. I just tried Gabi's method and my hair turned out silky, smooth, and with volume in all the right places. I learned a lot!!
I don't think I have ever seen a tutorial like this before. This is amazing Gabi. I learned so much from this... just the right way to dry the hair after sectioning. Everyone says section your hair but no one tells you what to do and how to angle your brush after. Thank you!! I enjoyed this thoroughly.
You're welcome! I am so happy to hear that this was helpful for you
Thank you Gabi. I'm new to your channel and have learned a lot. I've had a blow dryer brush off and on for years and now FINALLY I'm getting the results I've always seen others get. I also bought the TYMO and love it. Thank you!
I've had the blow dryer brush for a couple of years, but I tried it a few times unsuccessfully and didn't use it anymore. This is the best tutorial I've ever seen on KZhead. Finally, today, I was able to blow out my hair for the first time. Thank you!
Hi Gabi, This popped up when I was looking for best ways to use a round brush. Thank you ever so much for explaining everything so carefully. The one thing I took away from your post is I was not holding the brush long enough until the hair was completely dry. I was taking the brush away too quickly and was left with the frizz. Thanks again from Jenn Vancouver, Canada.
Ive got thick, textured hair that's quite long right now. I bought a root booster type of dryer brush that you can't use that way, but I still got some valuable tips from this. Thank you.
I am grateful you shared your knowledge about using this blow dryer brush. Who knew you had to twirl. This should be the mandatory video for using the brush. I applied your teaching and got the best effect ever. You are the best.
You are so welcome! I am SOOO happy to hear that! And yes! Rotate! Rotate! Rotate! It smooths out the cuticle and will literally turn your hair into silk.
Thank you for this video!! The part showing what we may be doing wrong is a much appreciated addition. A picture of that is truly worth a thousand words.
OMG this video!!! I have the same exact brush which I used twice and put in the back of the drawer because my hair didn't come out right. I was doing it wrong!! I watched this a couple of weeks ago but wanted to comment because I've been using nothing else in my hair since then. I also bought the products you recommend and they are so fabulous!!! Thank you so much for doing these videos for people like me who have no clue what they are doing!!!!
This is the Revlon one, right?
Gabi, This was so helpful from start to finish. I haven't been rolling the brush and sectioning as well. Thank you so very much!
Glad it was helpful! Sometimes you just need to visualize what you’re doing that’s not working in order to correct it. I was worried that this video was too long but I really wanted to fully explain what I do in a step by step way.
I am new to your great channel and now with viewing such excellent advice, I am truly thankful that I subscribed when I did!!! You are an excellent teacher!!! Thank you from Texas! ❤🇺🇸
This is the first video I've watched on your channel and I'm very glad I found you. I live in SC, which is extremely humid, and your video has helped me tremendously! I am 65 y/o and just had my waist-length silver hair cut into a lightly layered bob and definitely needed guidance with the best way to use my dryer brush. I also want to say thank you for being "real." Your make-up is beautifully done and not over-the-top and you talk to us like you're in the room with us. So, again I say thank you and I'm going to go watch your "how to wave a bob" video!
I'm glad you found me and I appreciate the support! I've got lots of tips and tricks for styling a bob.
This was so helpful. I got my brush a few months ago and I've been winging it. This changed my hair style to another level. The rough dry changed everything. So much easier and looks better! Thank you so much!!! AmyO❤
Omg! Thank you! You were so right! My sections were way too big, and I wasn't rotating! Life changing! ❤
GREAT tutorial! I love my blow dryer brush, but with your techniques, I can see where it will be even better. Thank you!
Ok, I was skeptical at first. But I followed your tips, and I FINALLY am able to reproduce what my stylist does! Usually I look great for the first 3 days and then back to my unglossy, unlisted “normal”. The root lifter, the application of volumizer to the mid and ends, and the Mohawk (genius) took it next level. I can’t thank you enough!
That’s so amazing to hear!!! Yay!!! I’m so happy for you. You will get compliments everywhere you go now. It’s a gamechanger!
Hi Gabi. For my entire life, I've been rough blow drying then following with a curling iron. Then I stumbled upon this video. Wow it has changed my life. At 56 I can finally style my hair using the Tymo. Thanks so much for this video. Your videos are always so helpful. The only thing I would like to change, my ends seem to be too bent in towards my face. How can I correct this? Have a great day & thanks again! 💙💜
Hi Gabi, I love watching you do your hair and I would give anything to be able to use a brush like you do, I guess I'm gonna to have to practice more but I just can't seem to coordinate the brush to do what I want it to do, you make it look so easy. I saw you using the hair dryer,I love it, thank you again, I'm so glad that I was the winner, take care, and thanks again.
Oh my gosh! What a difference! I just washed and dried my hair using the method you described, and it looks awesome! All along, I kept blaming my brush for my frizziness, and it wasn’t the brush, it was me! Thanks so much for such a great tutorial
Thank you for watching everyone! I put loads of detail into this video so I hope that you found it helpful. If you want a daily dose of glam-spiration, follow me on instagram because I am very active on that platform: instagram.com/glamgirlgabi/ I have a BUNCH of Holiday content coming up soon and I am so excited for you to see it! Do you have any requests for me? I love making videos that you specifically request.
Thank you so much for this Gabi! My hair looks like yours when I dry it naturally only I have fine hair and a lot of it. It used to be a lot curlier but now that I have gray on the top, the top does something totally different now than what’s underneath I’m gonna give this a try and see if I can’t nail it.
I recently bought an AMAZING blow dry brush from Temu I'm OBSESSED. I Love you sooooo much and love your content ❤❤❤❤
Thank you so very much dear Gabi! My hair is much longer and I can't turn the brush the way you do because it will tangle my hair, any advice? Thanks so much ❤🙏
Simple updos we can do on our own would be fun.
You got this Shellie! Take it one step at a time. It will look fantastic as long as you follow the steps. The first time you do it, it may take a little time, but after you get good at it, you will be able to do it in like 10-15 minutes max. @@shelliepage8271
That was a stellar performance!!! I always learn new techniques with all your tutorials. Appreciate you so much! Thank you Gabi
So so helpful for my thin hair! Thank you so much❤I know I will be rewatching this video. Love your hair and the tips you give us. Much appreciated
I hope you are able to achieve the desired look you want! Take it one step at a time. You got this!
Gabi, Everything about your hair is exactly like mine. Thank you for taking the time to show us exactly what you do to combat the issues we have. I like using my brush dryer the most because it seems to dry my hair even faster and finding your tutorial will give me better results than I get already. Thank You!!
You are so welcome!
Your tutorials are amazing!! So explained perfectly!!! Thank you Gabi❤
This was excellent. I too have done frizzy hair and I have trouble with the volume at the crown. This was so helpful. Will be trying the techniques tomorrow.
OMG I have frizzy curly hair, and I would have never thought changing the way I used this brush would make such difference! I followed your video and my hair looks like my hairdresser blew it out! Thanks so much for taking the time to make this video!!!!!!
I am so happy to hear that!!! Yay!!!!! It’s easy once you know what to do! 💕
I have this blowout brush and absolutely love it! It works great for the volume and shine when using on my fine hair. New to me are the techniques you demonstrated to get more lift at the crown and how to not have a set part. Definitely looking forward to trying these. Thanks Gabi for all the tips and tricks you share in your videos. Love watching! 💖😊
Any chance you can drop a link where to buy that brush, please?
What brand is the brush?
@@antrahagure5372 the one that I have is made by Revlon. I’ve seen them at Target, Walmart, and on Amazon. On Amazon, I entered Revlon blowout brush and it comes up.
@@bonniefeldman9444 the one that I have is made by Revlon. I have seen them at target, Walmart, and on Amazon.
Followed this religiously and it’s the best I’ve ever been able to do my hair. I still need more practice but this has made me excited to do my hair again.
I ALWAYS learn something from Gabi😍. Even if it’s just “tuning” my technique, your videos are ALWAYS so informative. Thank you very much🥰
I'm so happy to hear that it was helpful for you! Thank you for watching :)
I bought this tool after seeing you use it and it is magical. Thanks for the tutorial! I made a couple mistakes by not rough drying and not drying thoroughly. Thanks again! ❤
YES! It is a magical hot tool. If I could only have one hot tool forever, it would be a blowdryer brush for sure. I am so glad that this tutorial was helpful for you. I know there were a lot of questions about how to use this properly.
Thank you so much! For someone who doesnt really style my hair and doesn't really know how this was very easy and informative. I will use this soon as I have this tool.
I just got my Tymo and on first try didn’t get as much volume as I hoped. I think these extra tips will be helpful, thank you!!
Wow! I had multiple "light bulb moments" during this video. 💡 💡 THANK YOU, Gabi for such a thorough blowout tutorial! With practice, I think I can actually do this & have a great blowout, something I didn't think I could achieve for myself. ...love your channel; thank you for sharing your talent. 💕
Thank you so much for your sweet message Janelle! It really means the world to me! You are so welcome. I am happy to hear that you had some light bulb moments. With practise, you will get so good at this! It takes me ten minuted from start to finish now and my hair is an absolute mess naturally. If I can do it, so can you!
@@GlamGirlGabi Thank you for the encouragement. 😊
You are the BEST in teaching us beautiful Gabi! You're SO pretty and I LOVE LOVE LOVE your hair, beauty and make up!!!!!❤❤❤
Gabi i had a hair cut and dye exactly you have, and im super duper happy. I love everything about you!
Thank you for this tutorial. I did this yesterday and my hair turned out so great. i hope you stay the way you are 😊
I am so thankful for you because my hairstylist sister passed away this last may and now I can't ask her tips on doing my hair. Thank you so much for doing what you do!
THANK YOU! I use this tool all the time, but you gave me tweaks that I needed!
Well done! I liked how you showed using just one clip for sectioning. Good tips for those of us with textured hair!
omg gabi! you have changed my life!!! i am 80 and have a kind of aline bob (pure white) that i've never been able to manage very well between salon visits with only two hands. this blow dryer round brush combination (that i didn;t know existed) is brilliant and makes my two hands enough. and i have always used smootherizing products but this volumizing idea (with the brush that still straightens) is the winner and i never would have thought of it. i have exactly your texture hair and fineness and about the same length and even on this first try i look like i just walked out of the salon (if i do say so myself). a million thanks for such a detailed (but exactly the right amount) video. you are ny hair hero!!!!
I love this for you! I'm so glad I could make your hair styling life more achievable.
You are such a good teacher. THANK YOU!
Thanks Gabi! For this video. I am going to try these techniques for my next blow dry. The anti-humidity spray, I am shopping for bc Florida’s Summer humidity is insane. And I’ve never been to Texas but as you said and I’ve heard from others that it’s real humid there too. Once I try it I’ll send message and say whether it worked for me. Thanks again! Enjoying your content.
I have this tool and have not had much success with it. However since viewing this video I am going to give it another try. You have been so helpful to help me understand how to use it plus waiting first to blow dry my hair until at least 50% dry. I was going in straight in from towel drying and had a mess. Had to grab my blow drying and finish with a regular round brush. Thanks for the help.
Hell, I bought two of them somehow and they are in drawer with 15 other tools I can’t use.
Thank you so much, it was the first video that actually helped me style my heavy, curly hair. I love it.
Thank you so much for this. I’m 40 years old and only now learning how to do my own hair. I just gave myself a perfect blow out using my brush for the first time using this tutorial. Much appreciated ❤
You are so welcome! I am so happy to hear that! That made my day :)
Hi Gabi. Thank you so much for this video with great tips. I went to beauty school in 1980 and can appreciate the information you gave in the video. Take care and keep them coming 😊
Thanks for sharing!! I appreciate the feedback Susan!
Thank you so much Gabi. I've tried for years to replicate the shiny locks my hairdresser creates, always without success...that was until I watched your tutorial which is a game changer. Even after I followed your instructions on my five day hair it was transformed. I met a friend and she commented how lovely my hair looked and that was after my first attempt. Thank you so very much.
Best blowout tutorial! I was using way too many sectioning clips. This is so easy to do. ❤ the Tymo. Thank you so much for this Gabi!
Yeah you really just need one! Especially if your hair isn't super thick. Thanks for watching. I'm glad that it was helpful for you!
I was using way too many clips too. So glad I found this!
Thanks Gabi! This is absolutely perfect timing because I bought the Tymo, but haven't used it yet, so I Really NEEDED this tutorial! Could you also do a tutorial on how to use to Tymo flat iron for different looks besides just straightening? I would Really appreciate that, & I'm sure So Many other's will as well!
I would love to see you do it on a model with below shoulder length hair! Still though, a lot of these tips are great, I've been loving my blowout brush but felt like I wasn't getting fully solid results. So thank you!
I have every hair tool out there and I bought this one and it has changed my life! I kid you not! Most amazing hair tool out there! Thank you for all the tips!
That’s great to hear Gail! It is an absolutely amazing hair tool when used properly!
I have wavy (not quite curly) frizzy hair. I found the blowout brush a while ago and fell in love with it. I recently tossed my old one as it was getting way too hot. I ordered a Lange one, and am not sure how much I love it yet. This video is so helpful! I was one of "those people" who was not quite using my brush correctly and ending up with some frizz still in my hair. I love the way that you explained this so completely and step by step.
I hope you end up loving your new brush!
No wonder my hair looks awful by the end of an 8 hour shift. I’ve been using high heat on my flat iron. I’m so glad I found your channel. I love your cut. I’ve been looking for a blunt bob. Thank you.❤
Oh my word! I wish I had seen this video a lot sooner!!! Thank you so much Gabi. I’m a new follower and I gotta tell you…..you really DO listen to your followers. It’s obvious. I have learned some REALLY good info from you. Thank you again. ❤️
Thank you for this Gabi. I recently got a blow dry brush and I need to spend more time sectioning and taking my time.
I followed this video today after washing my hair. It turned out so good, it's unbelievable!! You Gabbie are an amazing teacher. Just when I thought I wasn't living my hair, I did this and now I love my hair all thanks to you a d this video. Thank you so very much❤
That is amazing to hear!!! I’m so happy that the tutorial helped you. When this tool is used properly, it’s life changing.
This REALLY helped me. For years I've been struggling to dry my own hair. When my hairdresser does it, it looks amazing and this made me realize what I am doing wrong. I think too I'm not focusing long enough on one section. Thank you! Love all your videos!
I'm so glad it was helpful for you!
THIS IS THE BEST VIDEO IVE SEEN!! After watching your video I went out to brought this tool and followed your instructions such a game changer my hair turned out perfectly!!! Thank you for sharing your talent x
Hi Gaby! I am so grateful for your posts for mature women. I love your authenticity and sharing your vulnerability. You are a beautiful soul. I live in the Beaches in Toronto. Hugs! Angie
You are so welcome! Thank you for leaving such a sweet comment! And hello to a fellow Ontario Canadian! Hugs!
I need a new hair stylist for my short bob. My current stylist messed my cut with goofy layers. Can you make a recommendation? I really value your opinion
EXCELLENT! THANK YOU A MILLION FOR ALL YOUR HAIR TUTORIALS!!!! LOVE EVERYONE OF THEM. EVERYONE OF THEM ARE A GREAT GREAT HELP! YOU ARE SO BEAUTIFUL INSIDE AND OUT. PLEASE DON'T EVER STOP HELPING US. GOD BLESS
This is the best tutorial that I've seen for shorter hairstyles. I just bought the L'ange barrel brush and was having such a difficult time figuring out the best way to section my hair for that blow out look. Thank you, I'm subscribing to your channel.
Welcome to the channel!
Thank you for this video, which has made a HUGE difference to the look of my hair over the past month, and has also streamlined my routine. Day 1- styling brush, texture spray. Night of Day 1, comb out texture spray, put hair in telephone tie for sleep. Day 2 and 3- style with texture spray, no heat. AMAZING results for 2A hair with a tendency to misbehave. 🥰
I'm so glad it was helpful!
Bless you Gabi! Life changing hair tutorial... 🙏 💖
Thank you !! I am 67 with a longish bob - and since my hair went white it is like I am working with a toddler - I now have hope!!!!
Thanks Gabi. I use a brush dryer and you gave me some really good tips to use.
Awesome tutorial! Thank you so much. Worked perfectly on my wavy hair with a blow dryer and round brush.
Hi Gabi! I m literally obsessed with your channel. I love your honest vdos with all the amazing tips. My hair have become a little scanty around the crown area and the Mohawk area and also thinning scalp. Plz suggest some tips and tricks to hide the wide parting and give some volume to our 50+ ladies with thinning hair
You look gorgeous--makeup, hair, skin. Thanks for a really excellent tutorial. Love it! Seems doable though I have thick, textured, long hair (2-3 inches past shoulder) that I have never been able blow dry. I have a weekly appt at a local salon and they wash and blow my hair (and color) and it lasts for the week. Again, love what you demonstrated here.
Thanks for the tips! I use my hair dryer brush a lot and love it! It saves so much time! But I didn't know about the "mohawk section" and how to dry each part forward and backward like that. I am definitely trying that next time. Also, I think I use my flat iron on too high of heat sometimes. It really flattens the hair too much and makes it look too piecey.
Thank you so much. I had been hating my hair. I watched your video and learned I was using my heat brush wrong. Doing it like you say now. I love my hair again.
I'm so glad this video was helpful for you! Thanks again for watching.
Best tutorial with using a dryer brush.....I learned so much!!!
Thank you! I've had a blow brush for years, and I layer the hair, as you said. It looks nice, but I haven't ever been satisfied with the crown area. Voila! You just fixed that! I'm excited.
Best demo ever on how to use this blow dry brush. Thank you so much!!
glad I found this video! I have a hair drying brush like yours and was about to chuck it, I have been using it wrong this whole time! Thank you
Today I tried to mimic this tutorial. It is the first day I've ever left my house looking like I've left a salon instead! Thank you so much for this fabulous tutorial. I'm finally going to have the great hair that I didn't quite know how to achieve. I'm delighted to have found your channel and IG!
I have a Calista blow dry brush and it works well. I learned several tips from this video to get more volume on top (pull hair up and then forward), maybe smaller sections, that I'm going to try.
Thank you very much for your explanation. I have had the Revlon blow dryer brush for a long time and didn't know how to use it properly until I saw your video. Thank you
You are so welcome! I'm glad it was helpful.
Thank you for this video. I had been using my blow dry brush all wrong. I have super frizzy, coarse hair and I could never get it to look super smooth, even with a flat iron. This morning, I have salon hair, after following your tutorial! Thank you so much! KMS Hair stay in on the way to be delivered to my home. I appreciate the work you put into this video!
I'm so glad that this worked for you. Enjoy that salon quality blowout!
This is exactly what I've always done, but I've never used a blowdryer-brush, just blowdryer + round brush. I can't wait to try the blowdryer-brush. I was a bit intimidated by the size and was never clear on technique but now I see it's exactly the same thing I'm already doing.
You will never go back to a round brush and blowdryer again! This is SO SO SO much easier. I feel like I have two left hands now when I try to blow my hair out the traditional way and I am a hairdresser who has been doing this for 17 years lol! I am so confident that you will LOVE this tool.
Thank you for this!❤ I recently found some breakage and believe it’s in how I am using my blow dry brush.
Thank you so much for this video! Your post specifically caught my eye because I have this hair brush / dryer. Also my hair is approximately the same length of yours and absolutely the same texture when it dries naturally! I'm usually fearful of over drying my hair with this brush so I stopped just short of dry and I still end up with a frizzy Lumpy mess. I followed your tutorial exactly and for the first time in a year managed to get my hair the way I wanted it to look with this brush! Abs it's stayed that way all day and night without turning into brillo again! Of course I had to subscribe because this girl knows her business!, thank you so much! ❤
AAW that is amazing news! I am so happy to hear that! I hope you enjoy your beautiful hair :)
Thank you so much for this video! I tried your blowdry method this morning, and it really helped my super fine hair to be WAY less frizzy! Now I need to perfect it! 🥰 ❤
Glad I could help! I'm sure with a little practice you will have this method perfected!
I have not been on Insta much , sticking to YT but for you and the info you share I will go there to learn more. I want to commend you on your style of teaching us - how you impart the info . You are exceptional at teaching this information and for those like me who are quite challenged 😂 you take away intimidation with all of the useful info and demonstration. All the best and many thanks!
What a thoughtful message. You have no idea how much that means to me. Thank you for sharing that! ❤️
One of the best how to tutorials I've watched! Thanks so much!
We have the exact same hair length, cut and texture. Thank you so much!!!
Gabi, you have the BEST content! Thank you for all you do! BIG question: can you teach us the best way to tease fine hair so it stays? Your volume videos are great, but my hair requires back combing to maintain any lift, even with following your tips. I have a small head with a flat spot at the crown, and I look terrible without teasing and lots of hairspray. Please, please HELP!!
My hair is pretty much the exact texture as yours - fine and frizzy. (Except mine is the opposite color of yours - completely white). Thanks so much for the valuable drying lesson! I learn so much from you!
Love the tutorial. This video was so much more than a tutorial on the round brush. I love the idea of a 3 days of hair. I am planning of traveling for several weeks. I would love to see a video of what your minimals tools and products you would take for travel.
I'm making that video soon! I am going on a cruise so I am going to film what I bring in terms of hair and makeup stuff!
I love this video. I’m new to your channel and really appreciate the detail you give with both hair and makeup. I definitely want to get the blow dry brush. I also need to study all your videos for make up for women over 50. I’m 59 and need tons of help with that!
Girllll that's the perfect lip color and gloss!!!! Love this tutorial! ❤
Wow!! The topic of this video caught my eye, and it has been incredibly useful! Thank you!! I can't believe how just a couple tweaks have improved how much body my hair now has. So now you have a new subscriber, and I have gone down the Glam Girl Gabi rabbit hole! Thank you! (P.S. I appreciate the over-50 stuff, too!)
I love all the KMS products. For me the anti frizz and moisture repair products are heaven sent!
