    • I'm so happy to hear that Danielle! These videos are actually a lot easier for me to make and I REALLY enjoy filming them because I feel like I am hanging out with you guys but I am always worried they will bore the heck out of people. But if you really want to learn something well, you need TIME. You need time to see it over and over again. Thanks for commenting and letting me know. It encourages me to make more of these.

  • Gabi, could you do a video on how to truly deal with the natural hair one has…. a video which addresses how to make the most of our hair naturally without all the tools , products, and damage and time….. for instance…. Cuts that can be worn air dried….how much length is needed to have natural waves and curls fall nicely…. Often it should be a bit longer I feel for weight and ‘hangability’ ….how to French braid….always gorgeous…I am into healthy shiny natural hair and in my heart know, the most beautiful hair is ALWAYS the one that is left alone…..the gorgeous young lady who has not started with the color, the heat, ….how many of us have destroyed our hair only to have to wait till it grows out….wishing for our natural locks…. 🙂❤⭐🙏🏼

  • Before I cut 12” of my hair off into a bob it was very easy to wave. Of course when I tried the same technique on my short hair I thought it looked awful because those straighter ends that look great on longer hair were not so cute on my shorter hair. I’ve been struggling on how to style it so I just blow it out straight and it looks good enough. I can’t wait till it grows out to a shoulder length blunt bob so I can do more with it 😫☹️

  • Thanks for the deets! I don’t suck but I am impatient. But for special occasions, worth the time. I have wonky wavy hair naturally and fight the frizz. Blowing it straight is faster for me. But..One of my favorite stylists about 15years ago gave me her flat iron as she was ready to upgrade to a new one (I think I was one of her best tippers! 😊 actually we had a bond but then she moved far away 😢). But I still have it! She showed me techniques how to enhance my wave so it was and shiny back then. Love the modern ends with this updated look. I barely have any evidence of an occipital bone so a wave helps hide that Neanderthal look. My mom must have never turned me on my side as an infant. lol

  • Cool going to try this as never got the hang on waving with a flat iron. Someone said the difference between hair spray and texture spray is that hair spray combs out and texture spray stays put in the hair and may need washing out, so pretty much similar to what you said I think.

    @demetevans7249@demetevans72495 ай бұрын
    • Texture spray is amazing! I put it in after I’ve curled my hair but before I’ve combed. I just run my hands through as I’m spraying and my hair comes alive and is much fuller. AIIR has a texture spray that is great and lasts a long time. Hair spray is then like a finishing touch. As far as I’m concerned that is…not an expert. Can’t be without texture spray. Oh and I only use it after washing. I haven’t tried it on like second or third day hair 🤔

      @rebbeccapeabody7752@rebbeccapeabody77525 ай бұрын
    • Yes I would agree with that regarding hair spray and texture spray. Texture spray is my absolute favourite product for short hair but it doesn't "sleep well". It just doesn't. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment!

      @GlamGirlGabi@GlamGirlGabi5 ай бұрын
    • @@GlamGirlGabi Yea for the reason texture spray stays put in the hair is it's strong point as well as weak I guess, depending on how far away wash day is as you said. Whatever hairspray I try for volume just doesn't stand up the whole day or even a few hours tbh, I don't bother with it anymore it's pants haha!

    • Hey Nathan! Do you have any thermal gloves? Curling wands almost always come with thermal gloves. I can't use them because I like to feel the heat penetrating from the hair so I know how long I need to hold the heat on for, but A LOT of stylists do wear them!

  • I have a short bob with layers. Not sure how I can create waves with my style of hair it tends to have a mixture of frizz and loose curl when air dried. I’d love to know how to create smooth waves using a styling tool with layered hair. Or maybe I just need to learn how to use a hair product to hold the curls together? Any advice would be helpful. Thank you for your video today! 😊

  • How do you wave a head that has LOTS of hair. My hair is textured but I have a lot of hair. I find it hard to wave it. Plus it takes forever to style. But I still want to style it. It's shoulder length. Please help. Thnx for the great advice and tutorials. Your beautiful and a great teacher.

  • Instead of texture spray, would root booster work better? I don't have a curling wand, but I do have a curling iron. Would you use it like a wand or insert hair inside of iron? I can't seem to get my fine hair to curl. Even with a fresh perm. I tried a spiral perm. Nothing seems to work. I get very frustrated.

  • My hair is so fine and thin, that sectioning it off is hard in a way, because there isn't much there. I end up getting frustrated 😫I don't have a lot of hair, so it jus never turns out and the curl never holds I swear. And my bangs are supposed to be the curtain bangs, but they do their own thing, and also, so damn fine and thin. I shall try this! And see how it turns out!

  • Grit, to me, is like a sandy feel. Is this what you are referring to when using the word grit? All I see is more volume.

    @merry6117@merry61175 ай бұрын
    • Yes it has a sandy feeling to it. It's definitely gritty. People either love texture spray or hate it. I really love it but it doesn't work well if you want to keep your hairstyle for several days.

  • Hi I know you get many questions but I recently chopped my hair to about your length maybe a bit longer but for some reason my hair never looks silky like yours. I do have thick course Irish girl hair.. But the fact that it always looks dry is awful. What am I doing wrong? I am a professional MUA and I get great hair products and recently started using the Caviar products for aging hair. I was hoping that would help... Anyway any advice is greatly appreciated.
