Welcome to my tutorial on styling short hair using a flat iron! If you have short hair and are looking for an easy way to create beautiful curls or beach waves, then you've come to the right place. In this video, I'll be sharing my favorite tips and tricks for using a flat iron to curl short hair, including the dos and don'ts of using a flat iron for hair styling.
First off, let's talk about the best tool for curling short hair. In my opinion, a flat iron is one of the best hair curling tools for short hair. It's easy to use and gives you a lot of control over the size and shape of your curls. Plus, it can create both tight curls and loose, beachy waves depending on how you use it. Now, before we get started, let's go over some flat iron dos and don'ts. Do use a heat protectant spray before you start styling your hair. This will help prevent damage and keep your hair looking healthy. Don't use a flat iron on wet hair, as this can cause damage and breakage. And finally, do make sure that your flat iron is clean and in good condition before using it.
In this tutorial, I'll be showing you my hair styling tools for short hair and why I use them. I'll also be demonstrating how to curl short hair with a flat iron for beginners, as well as some short hair curling techniques to help you get the perfect curls or waves.   • I appreciate the tutorial and letting us know the difference between the titanium and ceramic flat irons. I never knew. Since I’ve always been a “blow & go” person, and as lovely as this is, this would not be a “quick” hairstyle for me.

  • This is like 10 months old, so I’m new to the group. My hair is shoulder length and naturally has wave. I use as minimal heat as possible! I air dry, then go in with my iron to add volume at roots and maybe touch up some random wonky pieces. Much of my own wave. So, I’m wondering if I can use this method doing what I do? I really only do it to add texture and volume! My hair is fine, but with decent body and wave.

  • My intro to flat irons was a huge mistake! I bought the cheapest flat iron I could find in a supermarket a decade ago, my hair was in a short bob AND we were really trying to curl our hair with flat irons back then, which was a real challenge for a styling novice like me, so I gave up after less than half a dozen attempts. I haven't used a curling iron since I was a teenager in the early 90s (b.1976). I had a curling brush dryer in 1996, which also wasn't a success. I could get into this though. Right now my hair is by chance a very trendy kitty cut. I didn't ask for a kitty cut, I just showed photos and described what I wanted back in Dec.2023. I just had it trimmed last Saturday. Last time I used styling products regularly, we had gel, mousse and hairspray. 20 years ago, I had a long "pixie" and gave ID wax a try, but I think I did it wrong; I was using it like we used to use gel.😳🤦‍♀

  • Your fortunate to have thick hair which I can’t do what your doing because I would burn my thin fragile hair but all I have to do is salt spray and cool blow dry then I have my look with texture and lift. Thanks ❤️💚💙😻

    • It all depends on your hair type and what style you are trying to achieve. I keep mine between 310-320.

He took on flesh to pay for our debt, He bore not only physical but emotional/mental pain that we cannot even come close to fathoming, so that we might have relationship with Him, forgiveness and eternal life.
