In this video, I'll be reviewing the Revlon Heated Round Brush and showing you how to achieve a bouncy blow-dry using rollers and pin curls. The Revlon Heated Round Brush is a popular styling tool that promises to give you smooth, frizz-free hair with lots of volume and bounce. But does it live up to the hype? Watch this video to find out!
Pros:
The Revlon Heated Round Brush has a ceramic coating that helps distribute heat evenly and prevent damage to your hair.
The brush heats up quickly and has multiple heat settings, so you can customise the temperature to suit your hair type.
The brush has a swivel cord, which makes it easy to use and maneuver.
Cons:
The brush can be a bit heavy, which may make it difficult to use for extended periods of time.
The brush may not be suitable for very short hair or hair that is prone to tangling.
I'll also be showing you how to use rollers and pin curls to achieve a bouncy blow-dry that will last all day (and longer). Rollers and pin curls are a classic styling technique that can give you beautiful, voluminous hair without the need for heat tools. I'll be sharing my tips and tricks for using rollers and pin curls, as well as some product recommendations to help you achieve the perfect look.

  • The T3 blow dry brush has a removable head so you can use the round brush attachment or the paddle brush one. I always use the barrel spout without a brush attachment to get the wetness out of my roots, then go in with the brush attachment. I’m super happy with it. By the way, I used your haircut tutorial this weekend to trim up my length. The technique worked very well with my thick hair.

    @ShaktiFlowww@ShaktiFlowww Жыл бұрын
    • Oh no way! I haven’t noticed any damage I don’t think 🤔 are you using heat protection? Also it’s best to make sure your hair is completely set angled before you start and rough drying with a regular hair dryer first so that it’s about 80% dry really helps with breakage

    • This, at its root, (no pun intended) is just doing your hair properly. Why do we have to label her doing her hair, caring for herself, and giving advice as "feminine"? I'm being deadass... I feel that we have to stop this kind of thing. But to each their own.

      @KnijMagz@KnijMagz8 ай бұрын
    • @@KnijMagzI really appreciate this perspective-but I’d like to add I think the og comment was targeting the expectations put on feminine-presenting people to ‘do their hair properly’ in our culture

      @illegalturtlee@illegalturtlee8 ай бұрын
    • @@KnijMagz Hello internet stranger, I didn't mean this in any offensive or harmful way. I was more complaining because I feel as if it is expected of women to be "feminine" which takes more time, money and energy to do. Although this can be perceived as doing her hair properly, this isn't a typical hairstyle that you can wake up and get it done quickly in the morning before work. This takes work, as well as other "feminine" beauty standards. I also used this term because in the queer community there is a dichotomy between feminine and masculine women. I fall within the more feminine side. I hope I've explained myself enough :) have a great day!

  • Rachel have you tried the Revlon Otep One Volumizer Plus? It’s perfect for what you did in this vid. I do my hair pretty much the way you do, but I find that new step one brush better than the original revlon brush (this one you’re using) even though I love the OG revlon brush, it was a game changer to me. The difference is the the step one plus is thinner and actually rounded, not square-ish like the OG one. So it’s perfect for that bouncy blowout look even more than the OG, look it up ;)

I’ve spoken to 3 stylists about the damage, and they all had the same response “Are you using the Revlon round brush?” 😭 They all said they had several clients with significantly damaged hair because of it. My advice is to find a round brush styler that has a controlled temp!! This one just gets way too hot.

  • This is such a helpful video - you have the hair of my dreams! I just have one question, I know you mentioned that you dry your roots all the way before using the revlon brush. Do you ever re-dampen the rest of your hair as you're going through? I find that if my first sections are in that perfect almost dry phase, by the time I get to my last sections, they are pretty dry - should I spritz them with water, or is it fine to style them when they are a bit more dry?

    @ninaw5128@ninaw5128 Жыл бұрын
    • personally I’ve never needed to do that on my own hair, I think my hair retains a lot of moisture and normally takes ages to air dry but I’ve definitely done this on clients before! Another good tip to avoid this is to twist the hair you’re not working on and clip it in a bun while you’re drying the rest of your hair. This helps it to stay a bit damper 😊

  • Please help me!!! I have similar hair with 1 layer. Same langth and all. But mine is super soft. So soft it won't hold anything. I wash it every night just because of the greec but it is very healthy. I pute in hot curlers and let them sit for an hour then let them out before I walk out the door. After about an hour or two its all out. But I also love touching my hair so that could be a problem. You also mentioned something about to much moisture. I dont have super thick or thin hair but I do condition it every night and rinse very well. Then I pute in leave in conditioner before bed and sleep on it wet. Id apritiate tips. I love the 90s blowout but maybe its not meant to be. Maybe I can atliest get the courten bangs to work. Thx for the tutorial, your fun to listen to !!!

  • I don’t know why you used curlers sometimes, and then just wrapped some hair up with a hairpin. It doesn’t really matter. It was just kind of different. Your hair looked really beautiful at the end. Thanks for sharing your technique. I have a Revlon hairstyler too and really like it.
