Well, that freaking thing is loud, so it is either the music or gigantic mosquito sound. Ur choosing!!!

Wonder how long it took your government to try to "regulate" it.

I’m a pilot who’s flown some cool aircraft. Have to say this looks way more fun. I want one!
I’d order one but alas I’m too fat - 280lbs - even if I got to my Army weight I’d still be 230. I think these have a weight limit if 210lbs.
@@modelb9332 DANG IT!! I’m 240, sooooo, NOT!🇺🇸
Why? I'm also a pilot. I earned my PPL in 1971. I've flown a wide assortment of fix-wing, several models of gyros, and a few helicopters. At 70, I'm old but no longer bold. 😀I wouldn't fly this thing out of ground effect. Now....a turbine-powered "Mosquito" helicopter, I have no problem with. At least it has autorotation ability. 🙂 With this "toy" you BETTER have a ballistic parachute that can be deployed and be under a full canopy before hitting the ground. I'd give this a hard pass on flying any height where the fall would most likely result in death.

I could never afford one in my lifetime, but I can dream, though. That is amazing 👏
Tomasz Patan probably couldn't either when he started building the prototype...
You will eventually be able to afford to buy flying cars when the production levels increase to a point where prices are reduced due to buyer demand . The first production of everything is always super expensive ie personal computers , tv's , mobile phones and so on . Mind you , not everyone will be keen to take to the air in a personal flying vehicle , there will no doubt be some nasty accidents when such machines are common place and people begin to take them for granted . Saw my first one a couple of days ago , with a person on board , 300km west of Melbourne Australia , flying low across a field and hovering . It didn't appear to be too stable as the wind picked up , but still moved ok without issue .
u can , if u sell drugs
Might be an Uber...
You may be able to rent on in the future though.
Finally one of this many eVTOL start-ups come up with the right approach/concept/design. The Jetson One is fun, simple, affordable but also very safe. Why not also launch a variant with hybrid power? Could then easily fly for an hour or more...
Money, money, money

Gotta be one of the coolest modern things to date
I wouldn't fancy the pilot's chances if one of those rotor blades comes off. 😮
Imagine a bird flying into one of them while you're tooling along lol.
The unguarded rotor in general is concerning as hell... for anything that could come in contact. 100% needs some type of shrouding around it.
That happened with early airplanes, too, during their development. Imagine being on a modern turboprop and one of the blades spin off!
That's been said about every helicopter...
At least helicopter blades aren’t spinning 2 feet from your face.
Fantastyczna zabawka! :D
Coolest thing I've seen in a while.

My ultimate dream! Could you just imagine!? If I could afford one, I'd buy one in an instant.
As soon as I get the funds I will have me one of these machines. PERIOD !!!
Awesome concept, whoever would have thought tech from the RC plane and drone communities would have maybe sped products like this up . Tech that would be so clever that even the dumbest of clones would consider themselves a competent pilot . I’d love one of these too just for the experience . I’d suggest anyone who can afford one now buy one and make the most of it as in a few years the sky’s will not be as free as of now . That and maybe an incoming solar EMP which is on the horizon, that could wipe out all chips and electrical components . ❤ Great product guys
they should wait until there is proof it can fly as advertised and the people that already ordered get one.
Lose the music. Let’s get a very clear idea of how it will sound to use it both POV and from the ground.
Now that's the way I want to spend a weekend.
This is probably the future of racing.
Very Nice! IS there a version on the roadmap that comes with flares, chaff, and A-A missiles ;)
Fantastisch. I want one too.
Really cool machine. Amazing engineering skills.
Cuts time and distance! So neat!🎉
Really cool concept that will take a while to see wide adoption. Price, range and safety are the 3 major concerns I can see coming up. To address the latter point I'd look at adding a lightweight water-activated floatation device on the underside of the chassis and maybe a ballistic parachute system to make flying at higher altitudes safer. I fly paramotors too so I'm wondering if there's a way to hybridize the thing a bit to have a small deployable glider and rotor forward-pitch adjustment to improve distance. Though that would be a lot of extra engineering.
Floatation device and parachute it would weigh ton, maybe don’t fly too high and fast instead
Sir, this thing is already 100,000 k . Keep on adding to it and it will be a cool mil
Also a system to disable all cellphone apps that don't pertain to GPS. All we need are people flying these things while texting and facebooking like they do now. We all know they will. Bimbos making fishlip selfies while flying.. "Opps was that someones head? Sorry I'm a gemini.. teehee!"

That kicks up a ton of dust at those low altitudes. Bring plenty of eyedrops for anyone you fly over!
That is freaking incredible.
AWSOME. CAN you show the instruments showing flight time, charge state and altitude on next video. I wonder what power sources are out their much longer flights
Yes, agreed. And can it fly higher than the 6 meters or so we saw in this video? It's blowing around a lot of dirt and debris. Or does it depend on ground-effect for flight?
@@GregConquest I like to see it get up to let’s say 300’ and fly for a number of hours But requires a different power source
I would have cut the music for the first 60 seconds and then turned it down for the rest of the video. I have already mentioned it in the first or second video, music too loud, some of us want to hear the noise this machine makes. Serious prop wash noted.

Wow! The future is coming!
Tony Stark: I want one 😛 Pepper: NO 😊
This is an amazing aircraft! But, I wonder if flight duration, and range could be improved with the addition of a gas turbine, or internal combustion engine driven generator, which would help keep the batteries topped up, as well as provide direct electrical power to the props. Either way, this would provide a form of redundancy for power. Thanks for sharing.
well that would probably add more weight then they would want. It's most likely designed to lift itself and just a one occupant of a certain weight. But that is a good idea honestly. Now that I think of it a very small engine could work if it generated enough of a charge. Like the engine on a weedeater.
@@brotatochimp Yeah, you wouldn't need all that much, really. :)

Looks very cool. So many questions... Nothing protecting the rotors? Are you toast if you lose one rotor? Is it better to get altitude and have a back-up parachute for the craft?
I agree a rotor would do great damage to pilot if broke off.
Bird strike could be catastrophic
Surprised that the designer has not responded to Amy of the negative comments. As far as we can see from the opening shots, there are twin rotors/motors at each corner, so a single motor/blade failure should enable enough control to land. Just like larger drones do.
ANY!! Darned iPad auto type.
My drone only has four propellers and I can destroy one and still get it home.
protections must necessarily be placed on the propellers or on the driver's seat which could become very dangerous in the event of a collision.
I think this is their flying Alpha, I have seen renders with blade protectors but no idea about seating retrain beyond the belt.
I’d also add airbags all around
This isn't a production model. It's a concept. If it gets approved for use in public then they'll have to meet obvious safety guidelines like glass, reinforced frames, blade protection for obvious reasons, etc.
Or, all the Karen’s and Nancy’s could just stay home and look the other way while the rest of us have fun! 😂😅

There is a full roll cage extending well past the feet
yeahhhhh, not gonna stop people on THE OUTSIDE getting minced up tho is it........ what a totally stupid device...
I'd be fairly sure the reason is that proper guards etc would add so much weight that the already very short 20min max flight time (if you're built like a stick insect) would be severely compromised.
@@goryburk - A very thin roll cage. Not sure I’d bet my life, or legs on that. 😎
@@chloedevereaux1801 - I’m not sure I’d say totally stupid, they are cool! And having one would indeed be fun. I’ve seen others that enclose the blades in cages, but yes, I hadn’t thought about the possibility of some dolt trying to land in a crowd of people. I have this mental image (Thanks to YOU 🤣) of body parts littering a stadium. Yikes!
If you add a bit of airfoil wings, you could extend the range by maybe double. Otherwise, it will use a lot of power just to stay aloft.
toy drones would have that if it would help at all.

Yeah just like on helicopters! And airplanes! And! Safety! And FEAR! Or just let me fly it. I promise I won’t hit anything. Have not yet in decades of helicopter operations.
@Chris-bg8mk helicopters and airplane (A) are not accessible to the common plebeian without a flying license. Not the same as things like this or paramotors in any way. (B) Helicopter blades are not at small children's head heights even if helicopters were landing around children which they are not. And most plane propellers are cased with a wrap around metal protection for exactly that reason. Which I am grateful for as I worked at Will Roger's Airport for 8 years and the average teenage girls bubble brain sky cap would have got her bubble @ss head chopped off if not for that. 😅
@@leadgindairy3709 thanks.
@@SherrickDuncanI doubt you’ll be able to fly one of these without a pilot’s certificate, either. What this machine needs is… a different design altogether. In a multi-rotor, loss of power results in loss of control. No aviation regulator on Earth is going to certify something so deadly, no matter how much tech they put in it to compensate. Remember how much hate Boeing got over the 737 MAX needing software to compensate for being naturally unstable? This is the same thing only a hundred times worse.
This veteran has got to go flying in one of those before I'm dead and gone .
I'm sure those cars you sandblasted in the parking lot just love your toy!! 😂
While this is probably the most practical machine of it's kind, if it every goes on sale it's going to need safety meshes all round those blades. If any one of them became dislodged it could decapitate you at worst or cause serious injury at best.
These have been for sale for a couple of years now.
Fun, dangerous and expensive. That's it in a nutshell.
I like the fact that you have mirrors just in case someone is about to overtake you haha. I would be worried about sand getting into the motors, they would seize up quickly and game over.
These will probably be used for competition one day . I guess like drone racing .
every time I see one of these oversize RC toys putzing around in ground effect, my eyes roll to the back of my head. #STILLWAITINGTOBEIMPRESSED
This is incredible, I can't wait to see more of these flying around. These or upgraded versions of these may eventually replace cars. I'm sure people in the very early 1900's felt the same way when the first cars started cruising the roads and eventually replaced the horse and buggy.
These are WAAAAAAAY too noisy to fly close to any population. Until they reduce the decibels drastically, you wont see them out and about.
I shudder to think of some people flying these considering how poorly they drive cars.
They will ALWAYS be an "Experimental Aircraft" in the U.S. If you or anyone else wants one, they'll have to provide a kit for you to build or plans for you to use. There is no way in H E L L they will EVER submit to the FAA certification process.
No, these things should not be flying around. More unsafe for the majority of the population who won't have one. Furthermore, do you really want the ultrarich flying above you, doing whatever they want, separating themselves even more from normal people?
@@Tom-yc8jv I'll wait for the silent ,antigrav versions to come out! LOL
What would be cool is to have some folding wings on it too, capable of being swept back when parked, and capable of tilting during flight to add lift thus allowing greater pitch forward for more speed, and a bit of glide capability if the system shuts down or has a “brownout.”
Элементарно. Есть конструкции легких крыльев с высоким аэродинамическим качеством.
Two issues: 1. Dust. 2. Altitude vs obstacles. Both go hand in hand, but the obstacle avoidance issue is serious. The craft must allow for instantaneous altitude increases to avoid obstacles, but it's ceiling is too limited. Must allow operators to attain much higher altitudes.
In case of engine failure survivability decreases with altitude. This craft does not glide
@@martello44In case of motor failure, there is a redundant backup system designed to keep you from dropping like a rock. Beyond that, you are toast if it loses all power at as low as 10 feet. You'll likely never walk again, unless you get extremely lucky. It's why there is no padding in aircraft cockpits: If you crash hard enough to make contact with the dash board, you are as good as dead anyway, so no need for the extra weight of irrelevant padding. If you're gonna fly this contraption at 20 feet, you may as well fly it at 500.
