What keeps the valve attachet to the rest of the airrifle? Are there attaching screws or is it pressure fittet?
@@quintenvandijk8725 the valve goes inside a 20mm inner dia tube. Then the tube will have threads and there will be grub screws same length as the tube's wall thickness. I made mine with 26mm tube and 3mm bolts, but I realized it might be a bit fragile, so I will make a new one with 30mm tube and 5 mm bolts.
But I thought it's fragile because they are short aluminium threads, not just bcs they are short. I recommend making it with stainless steel or maybe brass if you want a smaller pipe

It was actually kinda hard to find the short valve with the gauge. I almost purchased the wrong one sevral times. I still need to buy a tank but I may be able to use one from my paintball gun. Thank you for the video!!

I have this valve for 2 years now , and with a 0.45 bottle at 300 bar . I can shoot about 60 to 70 shots with caliber 6.35 . Then the bottle is back at about 110 bar. Then refill it. Also works fine with 9 mm. Ps i shoot only full power

@@pcpairgunschannel with 9 mm i did about 700 fps so 120 joule. Ore 210 meter per seconde. In 6.35 mm i did 240 to 260 meter per seconde . With the standard air hole at 4.5 mm. So it can go up.

@@florisnr11 that sounds super cool, i would love to see some of it. With this valve I already made a 5.5mm rifle with 60 joule max power (with power adjuster), but I made it with scrap material, so it's a bit low quality, therefore I will be making a new one with the same valve.

It's for homemade air guns, unless you can modify your air gun to fit the 20mm valve housing into the hammer housing.

Is it legal to buy and own in the uk as id like to keep my build legal and not exceed the 16 joules ( 12 foot pound) limit. Looks perfect for my needs though 😎
im pretty sure you can buy it in the UK but you do have to keep it below 16 joules of course
how many shots you get out of the smallest tank on sale?
maybe 50-80 shots at 12-15 ftlb probably.

Hi, sorry if I didnt understand properly but here are the sizes the hole for the stainless steel valve is M16x1, for input valve M10x1, for pressure gauge M10x1, the connector to the bottle is M18x1.5, and the connector is attached to the aluminium block using a 1/2 inch thread.

In my setup i have a similar valve all connections sealed correctly although once I am adding air it is not entering the bottle and is exiting the 4mm outlet hole on the valve any idea what i have setup incorrectly? I feel like the pin spring isn't very strong possible manufacturing defect?
hey yes, we spoke earlier. what you should do is pull the valve pin outwards a bit, but not so hard that it comes out, hanging it in the air by the pin could be enough, then while holding it just pump a few strokes and there shouldn't be a lot leaking. then pump to the high pressures since it shouldn't be leaking that much anymore, leaking stops 100% at around 1000 PSI, and will stop noticeably at around 100-200 psi
sometimes its just caused because the spring isn't pushing the teflon seal balanced enough, so it leak from a very tiny hole around the corner

@@pcpairgunschannel Fantastic this seems to work as intended the leaking air seemed to reduce as i pulled the pin out further and as the pressure increased somewhere near 200-300 psi reduced almost to nothing but i didn't got much higher as i do not yet have the remaining components, thank you, have a great day!

Will this valve work well with low psi? Like if the tank were to be filled only to 800 psi would the valve still be effective
It can’t be stored at under 1k psi as it will leak out slowly but you might be able to make a weaker gun using 800 psi

@@Afeller this will work for that but the shot count and power will be a little lower. I don't really know any other valves you could buy that are meant for a lower pressure rate. And if you want a cheaper valve, I don't think you can get them unless you live in Indonesia or The Philippines where you can buy air gun valves from shopee or lazada
@@AfellerIt will be easier for you to remove the valve from the fire extinguisher, then replace the spring in it with a lighter one, it works at any pressure

Nooo i don't think u can connect this valve anywhere in that gun... It's mostly meant for homemade air guns (I think). Ur shot count will depend on the hammer (how much power) pressure range and tank size. for me my tank is 0.3L and i usually shoot around 28 ftlbs (38 joules) with my power adjuster between 2000-3000 PSI and get around 45 shots with that pressure range, but the power is not perfectly balanced in that range, it's like between 26ftlbs and 30 ftlbs

Unfortunately no sir, this is mostly meant for DIY PCPs. But if u own a lathe and have some materials u probably could do it, but i don't recommend doing it since its very easy to mess that process up. If ur valve is broken i recommend looking at some valve repair videos. And never try to fix pneumatic things if there is pressure!!!

What pcp gun is this made for? Will it work for crosman 2240?
It's mostly meant for homemade guns, but it won't work for crosman since the inner diameter of the hammer housing tube isn't 20mm.

It might be possible but its gonna need quite a bit of modification to the point where i don't recommend it

If you no were a machine shop is you can have them make a adapter and remove the universal valve to screw in the adapter it in to a crossman valve and in to the super well block. . Are you looking for a drop block adapter?💯🎯🛠️

this isn't capable of that much. at 22 cal around 40-50 joules is the best this can do, but at larger calibers like 9mm around 100-120 joules is as high as it can go.

with heavy modding yes, but generally no. So i don't recommend it. the 1377 tube is about 19mm while this valve is 20mm, therefore you'd have to turn this valve down to like 16mm too so that it would fit in the tube

Apa maksudmu? 4500 PSI adalah tekanan maksimal 3000 PSI adalah tekanan yang aman untuk penyimpanan
At this point, I can only assume that this thing doesn't actually work for an air rifle. Seen half a dozen vids of it, and not a single one shows it in a gun. Everyone just hits the pin repeatedly. If you're into smacking pins all day, this might be for you. I'd rather have one that works in a gun.

I am not sure sir, for co2 to PCP conversion you just need to replace the CO2 with air cylinder. ngunit wala akong karanasan dito. mangyaring tingnan ang ilang iba pang mga video ng conversion
