Focaccia is a bread of Italian origin, despite appearances it is not related to pizza but the style and texture are similar. It is considered the Italian version of fougasse. The focaccia can be garnished before or after cooking.

  • I lived in Europe (Italy, Greece, Turkey) and later went back to spend 6 months backpacking same countries for 6 months twice. Even lived in Brazil. Living in the states our food is such crap compared to all of these countries and this is a perfect example of the incredible quality and variety you can find outside the states. I miss Europe so much. I think I need to retire in Italy

    • @@erxuOur taste buds have been amazed all along our trip in NYC. We finally could taste Panzerottibites in Brooklyn, the best! The whole Chelsea Market was a delight, especially Tacos N0 1 but everything inside was inspiring so much for us. The fries we had everywhere were heaven and we discovered the real good taste of bbq sauce which is always disgusting and too sweet in Europe. Yes. Satisfied and we’ll go back soon.

  • I went to this place. I found it by accident. Delicious focaccia! The only problem is that the place is tiny. So you need to find a place to seat to enjoy the focaccia

  • На сколько я понял это тоже итальянская пиццерия . И какая большая разница приготовления пицца здесь и в старой пиццерии Рима пускающими стариками ..... эти пакующие старики очень небрежно , сильно куда то спеша готовят пиццу как будто не людям а свиньям . . И вот в вашей тоже итальянской пиццерии очень внимательное и уважительное отношение к приготовлению пицце , некуда не спешите , очень качественно готовите , хорошо готовите , не экономя кладёте соус и начинку . . Молодцы ..... всегда приятно видеть когда с уважением относятся к хлебу и с уважением относятся к людям которым готовят это хлеб .... пиццу .

  • Superbe video Fabrice, ce nouveau style est très très bien. Aucun dialogues superflu, vous avez réussi a capturer l'essence principale de leur établissement. Les petites boutiques spécialisés comme ça, son pour moi beaucoup plus intéressantes qu'une grande boulangerie qui fait une game de 50 pains différents et 100+ sandwich etc... Si vous pouvais trouver d'autre petite boulangeries dans ce style... ce sera super.

  • For me, the guessing game is What are those ingredients? I recognized tapenade, but that white stuff? Sour cream, creme fraiche? Not sure. Left my mouth salivating. The ads are obnoxious, however.

  • Cool. Je mets 50% de w360 et 50% de farine T45 1er rpix, avec recette sur altergusto (site). Une pierre a pierrade au fond du four, focaccia dans plaque four, et une autre plaque avec l'eau vers haut four, 8 minutes en bas du four, four prechauffé 25 min puis 12 min vers milieu four, laissant plaque avec eau, enfin 5 minutes sans plaque eau, et four coupé fermé.

    • et huile olive de boites sardines, au moins 1 boite pour 1kg farine, avec autant d'huile en bouteille emulsionné avec meme quantité eau, important, herbes sel ..... (anchois olives noires concentré-tomates...). au fond plat, huile olive non emulsionnée, sinon ne dore pas

    • Les plaques que nous utilisons sont les “teglie di ferro blu”, tôle bleue en français. Elles montent très vite en température dès le contact avec la pierre. Avant la première utilisation il faut les traiter vous-même avec 2 brûlures à l’huile ❤

  • Très bien comme vidéo! D’ailleurs, hier nous avons fait notre focaccia en 3 déclinaisons: traditionnelle et 2 pizzas. Tout ça à partir de votre recette incluant le potiron/courge. On a même ajouté du paprika fumé au pâton, très légèrement. C’est pas mal. Continuez avec ces vidéos en immersion chez les artisans, ça nous donne de bonnes idées à nous amateurs 😉😁
