There seems to be a misconception that Helldivers are the only troops SuperEarth has. There's an *army* too people, Helldivers are *special forces* , you're dropped behind enemy lines to cause chaos and disrupt back lines as well as accomplish special objectives to make it easier for the regular army to advance. Honestly I think it would be kind of cool to have a spin-off game where you play as regular troopers taking and holding ground after Helldivers prepare it. Especially if they could tie in how well cleared it was to an actual Helldive mission, like having the number of factories or bug holes you've got to fight your way too be determined by how many the Divers *didn't* blow up on their way to launch that nuke! 💛🖤
Considering the tutorial is the helldivers special forces training do I not wanna know what the SEAF training looks like xD

At this point everyone is fully aware on how sample collecting works They just use the excuse in bad faith (finders keepers for samples) to validate why they killed you, specially at lv 50 he knew what he was doing
That very reason is why don’t join random games, I’d rather be the host so if someone wants to do some shit like that, they’re getting kicked at the end with no rewards or samples, just a wasted 40 minutes of their lives that they won’t get back. That will teach them the lesson. (This has happened to me before, I won’t let it happen again)
I got killed once dropping all the samples.i had and they left without picking them up.
@@xlayer5 that’s some nasty work. I got killed with a good amount of samples while I was sitting on the ship, dude just killed me and hopped on. That’s the first and last time that happened lol
I don't understand some people. I was on a decent team for one, we tore through the map then I got kicked after the match. I had to question what the reason was. Was it because i died less than the host, I didn't blow up any team mates, got more samples though
@@Wrk10_i extracted 22/15 of our 25/18 samples and got cursed out in chat because i dared ask why some players left the main obj after wed already done all the rest of everything. No extra minor points of interest, no fabricators, no side objs, not even extraction was up. I reported them cause they just sucked, both as a player and as a person.

The HMG shreds bugs but isn't very good versus bots.
@Tufas_Borillious personally I have great times against bot and it can hill hulks by shooting the visors

my main gripe is that you are FORCED to 1st person it apparently. That just makes it unuseable for faster playstyles

heavy machine gun actually kills scout striders from the front unlike every other machine gun type weapon in the game

I was thinking the same thing weeks ago.
Procedural maps, theyd be so hard to navigate without wasting lives crashing.
It’ll be perfect for solo or being the guy who mains objectives. Viability would be questionable against automatons but perfect for outrunning terminids.
Map traversal is brutal sometimes haha definitely can't wait for vehicles.

I tried out the Quasar cannon and Heavy Machine Gun. Quasar cannon is insane. Literally stared down a hulk and smirked. As for the Heavy Machine Gun, it is good when you shoot from cover but needs a larger ammo capacity. I have also thought of the game from the Terminid side before. We helldivers are quite scary, lol

I imagine a sort of Halo-esque hatred, like how the grunts called Master Chief a demon. When the helldivers land on a terminid planet, they immediately go into a frenzy

The biggest insanity of that addition is. That's only 1 fraction of 1 of humanities planets coming down in those 24 hours XD Like... we control like 70 planets on that galactic system. So imagine the reality of that viewpoint in that canon xD
I think the LMG is great. Given such high armor penetration it requires more ammo and recoil management 💛🖤

It's one thing to give us news, but this guy does nothing but stalk the Helldivers discord and posts every time someone sneezes at Arrowhead.
The quasar cannon is a banger, still for me hitting the target and killing it with recoiless feels so satisfying. 💛🖤
You can 1shot hulks with the quasar if you are ADS and can land it on the eye slit. I have done it twice today. And with the HMG-101, I recommend turning down the firing rate and using Engineering or Fortified armor and firing in the kneeling position to keep recoil down. Its effectively a 75 round Dominator (with 2 mags) its got slightly better penetration than the Dominator, but its got worse recoil. I recommend you run a supply pack if you are using it, but it absolutely tears through Devastators and Berzerkers.

umm, i was using the new laser cannon on a level 4 automaton mission. And...the cannon randomly explodes and kills me a few times when i fully charged and fired it. I tested out to see if i could release the button just before it fires, but the charge immediately stops from that. Is this a bug or a intended feature from the devs? because the description doesnt say anything about it blowing up from fully charging it.
I like HMG, its able to punch through the front plate of the Automaton Strider in one burst and pierces through anything weaker than that armor!
Havent had a chance to check out the new strats yet but hopefully after work and i get my shopping done i will be able to check it out. 💛🖤
That lvl. 50 was probably carried by his buddies who did the heavy lifting and he failed to learn anything

1st stage of the major order will be completed in about 2 hours I’ve been knee deep in oil so long I’ve forgotten what the bugs looked like
So the way the mechanic for samples works guys if you want to be really detailed is that whoever's holding the samples has to extract or the samples won't be added to the total however if everyone extracts the samples are shared between everyone, the problem is if the person who is physically holding the samples doesn't extract then those samples are not added to the total for anyone so some people are confused about how this works everybody has to extract that's holding samples in order for all the samples to be counted

the quasar compared to recoilless/eat: -infinite ammo -long charge time that can get you killed. Against automatons you can precharge from cover, against bugs you really have to plan your shot in advance least what you want to use it on will kill you / knock you down first -"reloads" faster than an unassisted recoilless, assissted recoiless remains king od spamming anti tank overall, an excellent weapon if you can handle its one major downside. It may even become the new "meta" weapon like the old railgun was though the charge time is FAR longer
It's a trophie to extract with 15 common samples in your personal inventory

Thats good. The EAT was kinda frustrating when you missed two shots and had to wait for it to drop again. I died like 6 times because of this, since none of my mates tried shooting down the massive turret and I was the only one bombarding it with my rockets💛🖤

I haven't tried the Quazy but I enjoyed the heavy machine gun when I used it, it's hilariously funny changing the gun to 1200bpm. I wonder what we will find out once Troost is liberated. 💛🖤
💛🖤 i think they have given us the quasar because the EAT is causing issues with too many call downs in a mission. the quasar is basically an EAT with infinite ammo and a cool down. once you get used to the charge up its a solid weapon option.
This was an awesome surprise drop. Cannot wait to play with Quasar after work.

Hmg seems great for bugs. the quasar cannon for the bots is so good for drop ships, but when things get hot soooo many times I've been close to firing off the shot only to be shot once throwing off my entire aim at hulks and rocket devs. With the charge time you need to be exposed from behind cover even a bit to capitalize. To me i still got amr #1 and auto cannon #2 with quasar at #3 for bots

I don't know if it just me or something happened but I feel like the shield generator pack seems a little weak all of a sudden. I used to be able to run across the plants that would slow you down with out getting the debuff ( the exploding ones) but that doesn't seem like the case anymore. Also I feel like it's inconsistent with the single rocket hitting after it fully charged back up. The only nerf I know of is the recharge delay.

lol that level 50 could have been going for the achievement extracting with 15+ common/rare samples. Not sure if you have to have them yourself or if you get it from squid bringing them. I have all achievements now but can’t remember how the sample one worked tbh
