Rebuild: Seiko Presage Fuyugeshiki Limited Edition - Automatic Watch 4R57A
This time I´m rebuilding a Seiko Presage Fuyugeshiki.
This limited edition, japanese automatic watch features a power reserve indicator. The watch is powered by the Seiko 4R57A movement.
So this is not a restoration video, the condition of the watch before the service wasn´t "bad enough" so just sit back and relax ;)
I hope you liked this rebuild, if so, like, comment and subscribe ;)

I just want to tell you guys that I've watched this video a countless number of times. Mostly before bed. Not because the video makes me sleepy, but because it makes me happy.
Whoever designed these watches were geniuses. All of those small parts.
And even more so for the ones who made them
I’d have lost my mind
That's what I love about Seiko, they often relate to nature and seasons as a theme for their watches, it just makes it much more beautiful! This watch in particular is just marvelous! It is complex and beautiful, especially the dial is just incredible!
Very different look and feel to this one. Much darker and moodier. I really love the new lens work, but I do miss the disassembly and cleaning. Still, absolutely beautiful work as always.
Thanks mate 😉 Next restoration video shouldn't take too long
@@RedDeadRestorationAnyway, I think that you can split long video in two (or more) parts. For example: disassembly, cleanning and rebuild. And everybode can select what he wants. And at the end we will see: this WAS & this IS. But It is great work. Best regards.
@@oleksiidnipro5832 imo it’s best if there is one video with timestamps
@@Stellar-CowboyI am agree with you (to add timestamps). It is better than three videos.
There is very few things more satisfying than watching a master at work with their craft. The precision of the effort translates so well to the visual medium.
I found the previous way more enjoyable to watch. But I must say that the lighting, music and atmosphere with this one really do show class.
I am a big SEIKO fan. My Chronograph is accurate to one second a month. This is remarkable, even for a quartz.
I bought a presage a few months ago and really enjoy it so far... but this video brings another dimension to Seiko's craftmanship. Such an elegant mechanism and such beautiful minimalist dial. Thank you for your work. Keep doing your magic!
It’s good to try new things. I can appreciate that. But I would by lying if I didn’t say the vibe of watching a complete restoration as you carefully work, wasn’t more enjoyable. :)
what a beautiful time piece....I have not worn one in 20 years, but watching this makes me want to go dig out my Seiko, have it serviced, and wear it. Thanks, Red Dead...very nice indeed
J'ai senti chaque mouvement que vous avez fait comme si je le faisais avec mes propres mains. Je vous félicite Mr. J'adore votre travail
The video quality in insane. Before it was amazing... but it was before.
A 4R57A resto, like a boss!
I love this movement for the power reserve.
Not a fan of the new dark mode. Also, the entire process of cleaning and refinishing was the best part of your previous videos, would love to see that in the future. Awesome work though!
Im learning more and more thanks to your channel, the understanding of where parts go, why they do they and they individual functionality helps me not look at an automatic movement with fear but more like a puzzle thats divided into mini sections, thats what makes it more understandable. Thank you!
The level of craftsmanship is God Tier !!!
Fuyugeshiki..".winter scene and the dial captures the magic of the bright light of a clear winter's day".
Extraordinary! The music is relaxing but I rather just the mechanic sound that’s so soothing to my stressed day. Sir! Keep the videos coming. They’re amazing every time! 👌🏽
Easily your best video, by far. The macro shots and overall esthetic were incredible. Great job! Such a pleasure to watch.
Eastern Horology always makes history and never disappointed. SEIKO the best ever!! 💙
This video format is an amazing complement to your restoration videos! I especially really loved and needed to see the extreme close-ups of how you oiled and greased the different parts. I hope to get into this hobby in the next year or so and a video like this has taught me more about so many aspects that get skipped or glossed over in a restoration video. I hope to see more of these!
Es usted un maestro, hay tanto arte en los relojes que restaura como en el trabajo de edición. Impecable
"Fuyugeshiki" means "winter scenery" written as 冬景色 in Japanese A beautiful clock that represents the winter scenery.
Thank you for the translation.
It's really relaxing to watch your videos without talk and annoying music. Thank you!
Beautiful. Emotional. Thank you.
Artistry pure and simple........! Beautiful complex timepiece. An amazing presentation, completely removed from days gone by.......Incredibly creative and beautiful. A watchmaker's ballet..! Thank you.
That sudden music scared the hell out of me. But overall the feel was good.
Beautiful! Dial, music, and editing... And of course your service work!!
Just WOW! This movement is crazy complex and beautiful! The watch is just marvelous!
Thank you, you do an excellent and professional job
Film Noir meets watchmaker needed some trumpet slowly playing in and cigarette smoke haha and maybe and narration of how bad things were . Love this video .
One of my favourite watches.
this video made me cry ... not only because of the music that accompanies it but because of the love and passion it has to restore the clock .. it is one of the best videos on the channel .. sometimes we just watch the video but we don't recognize the great job of video editing .. I look forward to seeing the next video. ps: I loved the dark mode!
Kinda did me too. Surprised me.
What a precision, videography and music!! Top class!! Loved it
This video is a marvel, even more beautiful than this magnificent watch. Thanks for this moment.
Such a beautiful watch, the textured dial and knife-edge hands make it look almost like a Grand Seiko.
so emotional, almost cried when music started, seems like a human heart beating inside this watch, amazing
It's really fun to watch the clock tick😍😍😍😍
Nice work as always...but I miss old Elma!
This is really emotional, I almost cry at the end. So much love in what you do and how you do that. Mechanical whatches have a soul and you simply bring them to life again, great job.
Absolutely fantastic video. Between the video quality, music, and attention to detail, just a pleasure to watch.
Absolutely brilliant, relaxing and so cool 😎
I prefer the old format - sorry
Yeah I agree, this feels over produced.
Beautiful. I have the golden/brown "Old Fashioned" version of this watch . Love it.
Beautiful! but I prefer the old format
Same here
@@zheka1780 Yup!
Of course you do Karen
Nice work :-) But reaaaaly missing disassembly and cleaning.. those popping sounds etc are just.. cool.
What a Saturday treat! 😊
Love your creativity with the camera work this is an amazing video hope to see more like it.
Always expect the best from your channel! Keep it going!!
Loving the video length, 10 minutes 👍
Thank you for the intricate and beautiful video.
I appreciate the new look but I really liked how you did the videos before with the disassembly, cleaning all the parts and then the reassembly
Love your work! Your videos inspired me to get into watch restoration. While I love a good teardown, cleaning, and repair, I like how this video really showcased the movement and everything that goes into it with a small seconds and power reserve indicator. Nicely done!
Miss your videos! Amazing immaculate work as always.
Beautiful timepiece
Brilliant, simple as that.
Amazing job . Beautiful watch
That was absolutely fascinating to watch.
The new camera work is phenomenal and of course the craftsmanship. You could do better without any music in my opinion. The sound of your work is more than enough. Good stuff!
Finally!! a new Video!! Thanks!!✊🏼
Artisan work is perfect antystress. 👍👍👍👍👍
Quite interesting how rustic the movement looks in comparison with the refinement of the dial. Great vid
Nice touch with the music!
The ninja watchmaker mood. Appropriate for a Seiko.
Thanks for this beautiful video...
Beautiful Seiko....❤️
excellent video !! greetings from Mexico
I find it so relaxing to watch your videos. You make them so well. 👍
Great camerawork also, nice angles at the end. Again, always a pleasure to view.
Absolutely beautiful watch. I also like the "dark theme" of the video 😁
Really like the video style, especially with the exposure at the start. Though it's not as satisfying overall as the complete restorations.
It looks as though you used a camera with loupes attached, you did a remarkably good job of filming. Looks Great!
the way lubricating,A U kidding me?!😹🙀
Qué precisión! Me parecen relajantes todos tus vídeos
Sehr gut gemacht👍🏻
Tremendo trabajo. Eres genial !
Very different production from you. Very good close up work. Thanks.
