They plan to use wrestling & grappling along with weaponizing his cardio & pressure. Folks forget that he's a very good black belt grappler & that Israel Adesanya doesn't have a good ground game at all. Most fighters have foolishly chosen not to test him there & when they have it worked well against him..

  • I believe Strickland got robbed against cannonier. It was a close fight but cannonier only got the nod because of the damage on Strickland's face. Cannonier's face was all beat up and damaged but it was camouflaged because of his darker complexion. A bloody nose should not be counted as damage. Noses can bleed from a light tap. Sean outstruck him in that fight.😮

  • I don't think people are giving Strickland the chance he deserves, he's the only patient fighter who understands winning on points Izzy has fought during his championship run. He has it in him to fight Izzy the way Gastleum did if needed, but also to fight him like Rob in the second fight, except unlike Gastleum he isn't dumb and has fantastic cardio and unlike Rob in the second fight he won't be scared to throw a right hand

  • That Marshman fight was actually incredible, it was like his Max/Calvin moment but hillbilly style😂. But seriously, For MMA the fucken incredible distance management that Sean has is EXTREMELY HIGH LEVEL. I’m super interested to see how he does against Izzy. Considering his experience after getting slept by Alex and then training with him I think he actually has a much better chance then we give him.
