  • Can we just take a moment to appreciate all the men like “the Ians” who through their skill and labor allow beautiful renovations like this to be possible? I’m not saying women can’t or don’t work construction, but it’s mostly guys who historically and presently flesh out other people’s visions by doing the majority of this type of work. Without their willingness to choose a job where they get their hands dirty, we wouldn’t have the vast majority of the beautiful architecture and renovations we enjoy. I’m always impressed by the courtesy and appreciation Stephanie treats everyone with, including some who may seem a bit rough around the edges. And the Ians themselves are really kind and courteous communicators as well as skillful craftsmen.
