Here after Shaq said he dropped 45 on Chris Bosh as a role player lol
Lol I just saw this too
Same lol
Just crossed checked it hahahaha
SAME
Ultra facts lmao with the cowboy hat on 🤣🤣🤣🤣
He's so damn quick and agile. Even at this age. One of the more freakish athletes the league has ever seen.
Lebron is still flying around pushing 40 too
@@shprite781 Lebron is 15 years younger and not nearly as big as Shaq
@@whosDaBunwhat?..
@@whosDaBunHuh? This game is from 2009. You know what 2024-2009 is? Take Shaq’s age today minus above….
@@vika0194 are you dumb ?
This was like a retro game for Grant Hill and Shaq, that was how powerful Shaq was, it was like he was playing with kids. There was nothing the Raptors could do to stop him.
I think its safe to say that there will never be another Shaquille O'neal.
Low key one of the most dominant performances ever lol
Low key? More like the absolute MOST DOMINANT Center EVER!
@@mikeray2275 I meant this specific game for an old-ass Shaq. He averaged 17 this year, so yeah... low key.
High key two of the most performing dominants. High key high key. Dumb.
@@betterthanyesterday3912 Are you foreign or just in the below 80 IQ range?
This is a preview of what Shaq could do in today's league and this is him in decline. Imagine him in his prime.
😆
exactly
Lmao both these teams didn’t make the playoffs
@@Orbitalresonancefrequencies They made the playoffs the year before with Shaq. I'm not sure what's your point. They won 46 games and Shaq was an all-star at age 36.
@@energyzer_bunny1913 something funny?
6:27 5 players underneath and no one dared to defend Old Shaq like”we’re having none of that”😂
In today’s game, Shaq could easily average 35 ppg.
Wouldn’t play as many minutes as you think. Everyone knows if you can’t defend multiple positions now and be more versatile as in not just scoring outside of posting up. But play making and the ability to facilitate if his game isn’t flourishing will keep him at maybe 15 min a game in my opinion. That’s like 5 pts a few rebounds
@@Makesnosense2nonsense. Shaq would be so physically imposing offensively him not being able to guard multiple positions wouldn’t matter. A smart coach would work around that.
@@Makesnosense2 He was a freak athlete. So fast and agile at the same time, it wasn’t just all power. He would still play 32-35 mpg, and would absolutely avg 35 points. Joel Embid almost avg that ahhahahaha come on mannn…
@@edris2701 exactly. If Embiid can get away with averaging 32-33ppg, imagine what Shaq can do 😂
@@harrissr.615 [agreed] there were moments that Shaq (when he tried) could sorta hold his own against other positions, and he's a big body who has longs arms + jumps high so he still has shot blocking value. At the end of the day the most valuable points are free layup/dunks and Shaq can still prevent those
Great dunk by Hill
Who went here when Shaq said he had 45 on Chris Bosh? Hahahaha
What video is it? Could you drop the source?
Bosh sukks
2:50 is pure shaq
I wasn’t old enough to see shaq in his prime but it was amazing to see a glimpse of what everyone calls the most dominant when i saw this game live. There is just literally nothing you can do with him, he was so big and strong and would post up as close to the basket as possible. He was literally a cheat code. I think kobe was right, if he had a better work ethic and took better care of his body he would have been the goat
Yup! He crushed so many boards that the NBA upgraded it. This just 10% kid. If it were prime shaq, 90% of those shots were dunks to the face.
And by this point, his body control was immaculate, just muscling people around, putting them on his butt and backing them down...as you said, just nothing anyone could do.
No one here talking about that fan's underhanded half court shot that was a pure swish??? Really guys??
andrea bargnani guarding shaq is crazy
Shaq is such a unique athlete, truly the most dominant big man ever. His inside game and post up is almost automatic and you pair it with his stature and athleticism how do you stop that!
🦸♂️
Surprising he was still effective till this day
He has always been effective. It was down to whether he tries or not lol. This game happened because Bosh called Shaq a role player pre game so Shaq showed him "role player number" lol
And look at Grant Hill too. 36 tons of injuries still running the court catching bodies, running the point forward.
@@RecapRicoGrant Hill was the killer player of the '90s who could destroy the Bulls (other was Penny Hardaway). They have so much experience it isn't fair to compare them to weaker competition
Its easy when u are 216 cm high
@@hiamaraldvaan7221 no it isn’t
Wow shaq was just unstoppable.
Shaq in this age is way more active than today's Embiid just not fit
He was so fucking agile and quick even in his latest years he could move better than other centers, simply the most dominant player
if shaq made all dem free throws he woulda had 50!!!
and maybe 30k plus points in his career. He always said that too about his free throws and wanting 30k points.
can you imagine if we saw Grant Hill and Shaq together in the year 1999 ? lol
2:03 in todays basketball I really doubt you’d see an entry pass to a guy crowded like that. Also a testament to how physical Shaq was to make it.
There is no Shaq in todays basketball
Perfect example of what Shaq would do in today’s league! Imagine him in his Prime playing today. He’s having a feast daily.
Shaq + GHill = Crispy Dunks
3:10 I like how we snuck in a random grant hill fast break dunk lol
The big Shaqtus! 🌵
Shaq at 37 dropping 45 meanwhile Dwight at 36 cant get a job in the nba and trying to be a wrestler
Preach doc
The Stretch 5 wasn’t huge at that point. A traditional center worked just fine.
A zesty wrestler
Shaq was goat center in his prime.
This is so classic to me that i almost forget that these plays and sets are barely run this way anymore. Its always for the three
Imagine if this was Prime Shaq + Pre-injury Grant?
When I see people swinging their elbows like Shaq on the court: yall win. You can have that game. I'm out.
0:24 Charlotte Bobcuts 😂😂😂😂
That woulda been a nightmare for bigs guarding somebody like that
was always a fan of the charlotte bobcotts
This was the game he called Chris Bosh the Rupaul of Big men
I watched 2001 shaq as a 8 year old and this video doesnt give it enough justice.
Shaq had a very nice season with the Suns on 2008-2009. But the Suns missed the postseason that year despite a 46-36 record
Shaq used his weight and elbows well. Like regular.
MDE buddy
Dumcomments
GOAT Bigman
In his PRIME in today's Game is like an ALIEN. NOBODY IS STOPPING HIM. IT WILL BE EASIER NOW WITH ALL THE SPACE DOWN LOW
after the heat he just stoped trying, this is proof that if he wanted to he could play like that every game even at 37
He didnt stop trying. When you are older you dont have the endurance to do this every night. Also you dont feel young every day. He probably felt great that game and was in pain for 2 weeks after
He actually was in great shape in the 2007 playoffs but Wade was injured.
This is Shaq at 30% lol
Half court shot? impressive
Underhanded: shocking
This is expected cuz he's matching Bargnani
It's 2023 and that man Goran Dragic is still playing at a reasonably good level in the league.
looking at Chris Bosh guard shaq, it’s like a child guarding an adult
Nah the most impressive part of this video is the half court granny holy shit
Definition of BBQ 🍗
Shawn Marion played for Toronto??
Damn that's crazy. Raptors had no answer
Nobody in today's game guarding Shaq physically unguardable automatically gotta be doubled
The tnt interview brought me here lol
On paper, this Suns team was loaded. Had Nash, Barnes, Stoudemire, Lopez, Dudley and Dragic.
3:09 nahhhh this was sick 😮
80% field goal percentage, holy shit.
Top 5 all time..
Weight of a human being?
It's amazing how many teams Shaq played on that I didn't even remember like Phoenix, Cleveland, Boston.
More so a reflection of how soft bargani and Bosh were at interior defense
Shaq was an all star that year.
@@mr.brenman2132 He was an all-star by popularity not performance
@@smfh_ False. In 30 minutes per game he averaged 18 and 8 on 60% shooting.
@@mr.brenman2132 lol 18 a game? Thats all star caliber?
@@smfh_ There were like 6 all-stars that year that averaged around 18 or less.
lol the Raptors had literally nobody to guard Shaq.
Shaq would be the undisputed GOAT of basketball had he cared more.
Nice dunk by Grant Hill right there gd. haha.
top 5 or top 6 greatest center to ever play the game, behind the likes of bill russell, hakeem olajuwon, kareem, demarcus cousins and depending on whether you put dwight howard in front of or behind shaq. the big weakness of shaq is no three point shot, mid range or free throw, thats how demarcus managed to get ranged higher on the all time list by players and coaches.
so u think cousins and howard are better than him lol + he would kill russell 1 on 1
it's crazy they put Bargnani and Bosh on Shaq, Bargnani has no D at all and Bosh is literally too small. 2000-2001 Shaq can go for 100 against this 2 guy.
Bosh is 6’10 and bulked up in that 09 season.
green can locked this guy up
Why don’t I remember Shawn Marion playing for the raptors WTF
I always felt growing up he could just go off and break the game nonstop haha! BUT. Sometimes I wonder.. You know in heaven there might be ways to.. even the playing field.. that we can't imagine right now.! and maybe he'll be Way Happier playing ball in the next because it will be a real competition. and not a... "well... to be honest i just dont wanna Ruin the game so I'll be nice to you guys as much as i can. haha. I bet he'd love to compete like that though :) There's Zero Doubt he was and is Unreal talented, nimble, and can shoot. I seen vids on KZhead where hes Draining long range shots at the same time as ballhandling like a beast. maybe heaven will have real challenges for him vs what we mere mortals can do up against him here 🤣🤣 I used to think that same thing about Ichiro. Seemed to me like he could Jack Homers nonstop at will about if he wanted. but maybe alot of people would resent him too much if he was dominating winning not triple crowns. but quatro and penta crowns haha. achieving stats we hadnt even thought of LOL
You need 4 players to slow down Shaq 😂 most dominant player
Shaq is all skill no luck 😅
That’s amazing his last team he faced was Toronto..! As a life long Raps fan. This is iconic.
where is steve nash?
Just bullying Bosh 😂
Tex Johnson dropped 45 on Chris Bosh 😂
putting a soft Bargnani on him is the worts matchup ever. It would be more clever to put a strong point guard on him
Lmao what stewpid comments
This is a 37 year old shaq. Dominating. If anyone remembers shaq got in better shape in Phoenix. He averaged almost 19 points per game. All because he was in good shape. Now imagine if he was always in shape?? He could of easily averaged 18 points in his final season 2 years later. He also won co mvp of the all star game this year with kobe. Why?? Because he was in good shape. Not great shape. Just good shape.
I do not remember Marion playing for Toronto
who is the other commentator? seems clever
Matt Devlin is the play-by-play announcer, the other being Jack Armstrong
Shaw must have been close to 4 bills
Seeing Shawn Marion in the raptors isn’t right
Why all the empty seats?
How do you stop this man? He’s old here and still a problem. How did he not win like 7 championships?
Work ethic
His body was his strength but also his weakness, Shaq played bully ball his game isn't supposed to last that long.
@@dropout1243he came in the league in 92. I think that's long enough
He was lazy
If he took care of his body, practiced and trained like MJ or Kobe, he would've been the top 5 players of all time and won 3 more. Also if Lakers hired a better coach earlier, they surrounded Shaq with talent during his late 20s but the Lakers couldn't get past the Jazz and get to the final until Phil Jackson came
Bosh looked like a kid
4:30 in and he looks like a kid throwing blocks around a sandbox except the blocks are nba players
hence the nickname RuPaul
Literally nothing u could do with him on his got position lol
Barbecue Raptors Chicken
Bosh and Bargnani, two of the softest big men to ever exist. Remember when Shaq called Bosh the RuPaul of big men? 😂😂😂
La scelta dell'allenatore di toronto in difesa ad inizio partita? Marcatura di Bargnani su Shaq.🥴😐
Shaq actually had one of the more long lasting primes in the history of the NBA
Tf you talking about Shaq is not in his prime in Suns anymore. They put Bargani on him what do u expect
@@yohohoho8412 he wasn’t in his prime but it was Chris Bosh on him for most of the game Bosh couldn’t guard him and picked up 5 fouls that’s why bargnani had to switch
Shaq exited his prime after the 2005-06 season.
@@justanotherrandomguyinthec1835 03-04 really
@@cdhill17 Actually he was still a very efficient player afterwards until 06. He was 2nd in mvp voting in 05.
Wilt who ?
... kek fuck off
BBQ Chicken 🐔
He travels on almost every post up. Shifts both feet to dislodge his defender before he dribbles.
Stoopid
A googled Shaq and I stand coirrected..... LMAO
Imagine what he would do to the warriors with draymond trying to guard him.
Barbecue chicken
Another reason why the Raptors will always suck
Bosh weak af
Getting Shaq what is the biggest mistake Phoenix could’ve done. we should’ve kept the same core
Bosh too small lmaoo
