  • It's amazing how the game has changed so much. They were leaving Rondo open for a 3 but barely any attempts. A lot of the plays were done inside the 3-point line. I miss this style of NBA so much. Curry really changed the game in such a short period.

    • There's always going to be a lot of ways to be effective in the NBA. There are still killers inside the arc. Rondo was strange even then for his lack of consistent three point shot. He still dominated. Jimmy Butler, Demar Derozen, etc. still dominate the game without shooting a lot of threes. You just have to be able to hit some when you're wide open.

Btw, they were all tired out because Doc Rivers insisted they could all go 48 minutes if needed. Ray Allen did a great job of guarding Kobe, but expended all his energy in the process and couldn't hit the side of a barn, going 3 - 14 with 4 turnovers and only 2 rebounds. Meanwhile, Doc had Tony Allen sitting on the bench for all but 5 minutes! He was giving Kobe fits earlier in the series, but Doc only played him 5 minutes and ran Ray Allen ragged. Also, Danny Ainge failed miserably to add depth. Tony Gaffney, Oliver Lafayette, Nate Robinson, and Brian Scalabrine were on that bench, famous ain't they?

    • Rondo got better at shooting, but he was a terrible shooter early in his career and in his prime.

  • If Rondo could win with those big 3 Imagine if Chris Paul had Klay Thompson -SG Carmelo Anthony -SF & Anthony Davis -PF , on his team. They would have Atleast 2 Rings
