Today Silas takes a look at two sub £100 gaming headsets from leading German Headphone maker - Sennheiser. Are the GSP 301 and GSP 303 the best out there? Let us know what you think as it would be really interesting to hear your thoughts.
Thanks you! Just ordered mine, i just got tired of my wireless headset and looked for one that could replace my razer nari ultimate. It got so tiring that I couldn't have my headset on all night without having to charge it. Good job champ!
your video help a lot. I bought mine after view it here. Thank you
u are really good at this!
Just got the GSP 300 today. I have a very 'alien' shaped head: not wide, but thing and elongated (especially towards the back of my head). Surprisingly it fits very well at between 3/4ths of the total length and full length, however it doesn't quite isolate as much as others say, nor have much clamping power. The adjustable-mechanic is also very 'loose' you can basically shake the headset and it'll become longer in my case. Other than that: they're very comfortable, very light, the sound is amazing. Second best I've heard for gaming headsets under 200 bucks. The mic is the single best I've heard under 200 bucks. Very impressive. I just seem to have gotten a little bit of a lemon when it comes to clamping power. I have to readjust the band every time I use it because it so easily shifts between positions.
stop flexing your alien head D:
@@tpid_timeout_yttwitch7354 Lmao thanks for making me start my day with a laugh ;D
@@KindOldRaven Hey, do you still have it, are the confort, sound etc ?
@@portuga3984 Sound is still awesome, cable etc haven't failed me, earcups are still pretty easiily cleaned (if maintained) and the clamping force and headband are comfortable for my large head. The only donwside for me personally is that the earcups are a little bit on the tight-fit side since I've got pretty large ears :p But no regrets, great headset imho. It's still the main one I use btw. I might buy an open-backed set one day so I can still hear my Dog and GF more clearly in the background, but that's about it ;p
@@KindOldRaven thanks for the reply
Are they open back
is this 7.1 sound?
Are they wireless
Thanks
Great review, although if I had to pick something at this price point I'd stll be lost, I'd have to start with a product round-up or something. Also why is in-built mic convenient? edit: my mistake, you were referring to the media controls, gotcha.
i would buy them any time... but the mic is WAAYYYY to big
when it comes to gaming sound is more important than mic quality on a comp level and if a person is really bothered about clear mic quality just buy and external mic much better quality than any headset can offer
You think this is good? The headset
These or Astro a40 mainly care about mic quality
Definitely these Astro a40 s don’t have amazing mic quality they have good sound quality tho
Just purchased a new pair of these for £15.
I got the gsp 301 and my laptop recognizes the headphones as speakers. I'm not sure if Im getting the correct sound out of this headphones right now. Not sure what to do :/
that what it suppose to be. it just a stereo headset which is common for the pc will see it as another speaker. and yes as long as it mic work.......nothing wrong with it.
That awful mic level at 4:50 is an absolute deal breaker!
how does this compare to the hyperx alpha?
x2
Hyper X mics work on like 50% of their headsets.
This new reviewer is your best.
People written on Amazon reviews saying the GSP 301's plastic breaks and cracks even with delicate usage. Anyone have these problems? It's putting me off of buying a pair.
I just got some for Christmas and I’m fine
Sennheiser gsp is great but for the same money I think a hyperx cloud II is a slightly better package.
tearinox i regret buying the hyperX cloud II it is not that good
@@Rowvango tell me why you regret it? Bc im about to get one
@@Tommygimbal the 7.1 sound is not 7.1, sounds way too much manipulated, the cable broke within a year and I'm careful with my headphones
Don't think thats normal mic volume on this headset. Watch other reviews.
yep, I got this headset and it is pretty nice
