I love the symbolism when we see Arthur climbing the stairs earlier in the film. It's a mental struggle because of how miserable he is, how much effort it takes to keep his head straight in a world that does not give a shit about him. But the dance downwards is him just giving in the madness in himself. He does it with such a relief and enjoys himself. Just accepting that this is who he is. This is by far the best representation of joker, he’s someone that almost every person can empathize with. We’ve all been dragged down through the dirt and wanted to lash out against the world and everyone who hurt us. We all have a joker inside of us, it doesn’t take much for a person to end up like this.
And yet so few of us actually become that joker version of us. We all have a joker in us, true. We also have a Batman in us, and we know Batman always beats the joker.
Joker is evil! Don't sympathize!

CAN WE FINALLY CELEBRATE HOW GOOD THIS FILM IS
Joker.
Joker was so crazy he was physically strong. He ate that hit by the car.
Lol he really did
He doesn't even know what pain is anymore!
whats even more impressive is he doesn't just get hit by the car he's running full speed into it..
Mania is crazy
That's good detail to show he dosent care about pain anymore since he's getting crazier and crazier
He struggled up those stairs to keep himself sane, and when he reached his breaking point and couldn’t save himself, dancing down he came. Brilliant film.
That was his decent into madness

Well said!

His life was literally an uphill battle while he was Arthur Fleck, as shown multiple times trudging up those unending stairs in shitty weather. When he became Joker, the sun comes out, and he dances down the stairs. Life has become joyous for him.
What an actor, my friends!
An all-time favorite piece of cinema. I could watch this stair dance forever almost, it's memsmerizing in so many ways. No one like Joaquin, stellar casting.
The way he dances is incredible there’s no rhythm, looks so random and he moves so freely I love it
Gaming Moments just shows he is now fully accepting himself and being free
Thanks for sharing this. Hope you don't mind but I used a little in my review fo the movie stevepafford.com/joker/
Mimi 🥰hiiiii
//SuperAsh4U// hey🙂❤️
Scout 1032 exactly 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
The depressing thing about this stair dance was that Arthur was planning on killing himself on Murray's show so this was him celebrating his last day alive
Last day alive, and the joker's basically like may as well commit as many crimes as possible.
Yep...believe it or not..a lot of people don't get that.
@@blue23song31 it’s been a while. When was this shown?
@@Phoenixifyable what?
@@blue23song31 wooaaahh i got to know this today
what astounded me is that all these crazy dance moves on wet stairs and he didn’t slip at all
Anal-ysis🤔🚨
I seen this movie the weekend it came out. I went back another 2 times within the week to watch it again
When he dances to the guys getting beat , so psycho I love it
JHolland I smiled

@The Ugliest Man Alive Ok but my problem is that you described a graphic death scene on KZhead.
