I have never seen your channel. This is my first video and guess what? I already love you guys, I had to subscribe. I wanna continue following this journey with ya'll
I met my dad in 2015 when I was 29....and 3 brothers and sisters I didn't know I had(all half siblings). We had a long hug too, and tears. We lived 2 hours apart all that time. He drove a logging truck, and had driven by my home many times. He said "There was a black lab that would lay out on the highway in the sun, and she wouldn't move for anything, just sat there wagging her tail, so I would honk at her". That was my dog, and I remember yelling at my dog to get off the road when I heard the truck horn.
I am confused, how come you never met your father before?

A little advice be on your toes as you have been to avoid that heartbreak. I’m not wishing bad upon your relationship, but reality may hit you unexpectedly. I’m in a similar situation with my father & he pops In & out of my life when he pleases or feels at an all time low. It really affects my emotions with how I feel towards my “dad”. If he hits me up, I’ll answer his call & always hope he sticks around & stays in touch but it doesn’t last long. I’m hoping this doesn’t happen in your case. You’re such a beautiful person inside & out with a huge heart, just as myself. It sucks us good hearted people have to go through this heartbreak. But wishing you a positive outcome! People don’t understand what it’s like for your dad to leave and then you decide you want him in your life. It’s not that easy to just be loveable towards him. This happened to me with my dad I didn’t talk to him for a very long time because I hated him for many reasons. But when I did finally chose to talk to him I didn’t fully show him love just yet because its hard. Keep your head up gel we love you 😘

Lucky you found your Dad alive and he accepted and welcomed you with open arms !! Many Children the World over don't get to have these moments. I know of two lovely Girls who got to their Father when he was lying dead. All the questions they had for him were an answered. They were not recognised at his funeral neither were they given anything to remind them of their Dad. Today they live like there was no Father anywhere at all !. Forget whatever happened and build the relationship you have long waited and longed for.. Good Luck.

I haven’t seen my father since I was 7, I was 19 and he got a hold of me. I didn’t want to go talk to him then. I turned 23 and he got a hold of me again, I gave it a chance. Felt strange talking to a “stranger”. We don’t talk anymore but it created peace. Thank you for sharing

I cried with you and I have been binging on all your other content. I feel horrible for how your step Dad has come in to torture you after you have gone through so much. I may be wrong but I have the feeling that by visiting your Dad you found out some truths that your Mom has managed to keep hidden all these years and by meeting your bio Dad it shook her to the core so in order to keep things under wraps like she has done this far then she tells your step Dad so he can come and create a scene and rain on your parade after you accomplished to meet your bio Dad. I am 4 minutes into your video and amazed by the similarities of our situations. After 37 years,last week I sent a letter to my biological father asking to connect. He only lives a few towns over from me but I haven't seen him since I was young and my parents were never in a relationship together. Like you said I want to live a life without regrets.
