To bring the characters of Marvel to life on the big screen, the Marvel Cinematic Universe has led the way in special and visual effects. Movies like "Captain America: Civil War" involved demanding stunts from cast members like Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson and their stunt doubles. "Captain Marvel" and "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" featured innovative de-aging work that allowed them to show actors Samuel L. Jackson and Kurt Russell at different points in time. Meanwhile, the motion-capture breakthroughs in "Avengers: Infinity War" and "Avengers: Endgame" helped turn Josh Brolin's Thanos into a terrifying and memorable villain.

    • Especially knowing they reused assets from earlier films to save on money. I hate to shit on this movie I absolutely adored Infinity War and Ragnarok and most of the MCU, but Endgame just disappointed in nearly every department, 3 hours of film for 15 minutes of action, Captain Marvel horribly shoehorned and did less than add nothing but took away, IronMan and Nebula should have escaped the ship working together. It also should have been all of existence starts to collapse from him breaking the gems so they could still have time travel and keep OG Thanos and beef him up or something. Then Kang the conquerer could easily come it. I also don't like the supporting Avengers cast, realising we are getting the b-listers bumbling around was at first funny but quickly filled with regret as time and dialogue is wasted on dabbing while taking selfies, playing...ugghhh fortnite and all the forced sappy family moments that give closure that characters would never get. At least IronMan went out cool, but Cap not getting a hybrid of Nanomachines, Thor's Hammer, and Caps shield all working in sync to kick ass. I also will never get a proper Mandarin, Unibeam, Proton Cannon, and everything else of Matt Fraction's they screwed up. At least the Bleeding Edge suit translated beautifully. I will forever miss you IronMan! I wish that Disney relaxes with its stranglehold on the IP and let him get into Videogames for me. He never got his own videogame to shine as an example. Let Platinum Studios do it or Capcom. Sorry if this is alot, I used to love Marvel to the point of worship and now I feel soulless thinking about it. Oh well things change titans fall. While they will probably continue their movie trend the run of epic, marvellous, and absolute hype train that for me was superhero love is now over. Mahvel is for the moment dead and hopefully things will change.

    • @SIX PACK ABS I disagree completely the only Awesome moment was IronMan getting the Gauntlet. The only moment that felt hype or epic. She had less scenes because audiences couldn't stand her yet they wanted CM pushed for whatever reason, maybe Brie was doing some shit for Kevin Feige idk. She is not the most powerful Avenger, and never was. Hulk could throw her past the atmosphere and when she hits Hulk with all her might he laid there smiling before hitting her. IronMan defeated Rogue when she had the combined might of Captain Marvel and a few other heros, hilarious moment before that his suit was locked up so the Blob used it as a melee weapon seeing it was borderline indestructible. Thor's power can vary but usually he is greatly beyond CM able to land a blow or two on Galactus. IronMan once turned a star into a weapon with ease and casually has a Celestial killer suit parked on Mars. Captain Ma'rvel is most well known for dying, in his case of cancer, and in Captain Marvel's case, Rogue held on too long and absorbed her completely. Also they killed Thanos right away, the pacing was bad, and they missed out on so much potential it felt like a waste of a film. The new characters outside of Spider-Man, Dr. Strange, and Scarlette Witch are the only cool new characters with the rest being pale imitations. Why did Cap not give the shield to an actual supersoldier with a bionic arm that was his friend in the 50s? The Falcon is so damn lame. I am sorry I know it is your opinion that you like the movie, but I don't see how it lives up to the hype in almost every single capacity. Infinity War is beyond the hype, Endgame was letting us know the hype was over and that's it.

Hounstly it goes both ways because we very much depend on people who are truly spinning the wheels of reality like engineers doctors lawyers supermarket workers cheifs taxi drivers etc in our day to day life. if sports got cancelled for a year. life simply goes on yet if a bus driver got late for a stop it would be a bit chaotic. Celeb/athletes make a lot of money because Billionaires figured an easy way to gain billions by advertising an idea that those celebrities/athletes are godly being it ain't the other way around.

  • There is still no video to show how Scarlett Johansson's fight scenes were actually made. Many people believe that she has all the skills in martial arts and claim that she trained enough to do everything. But in spite of the actress having done a small part of her fight scenes, what is shown on the screen are scenes made by her stunt double using the face replacement technique with CG or the one with her stunt double with her back to the camera, with her face covered by hair. You can see that her body is quite different from Scarlett's, which compromises immersion in the film.
