  • As much as I admire these VFX and green screens opening the portal to other worlds, nothing beats classic, real life cinematography. After seeing many, many green-screened superhero films, I watched Top Gun Maverick and Transformers 2007 (on a recent Fathom Event) and because they never use green screen when they can record in real life, everything looks better, more real, and more immersive. Even the giant robots from 2007 look more realistic than Avengers Endgame since the spaces where they were added were recorded in real life. Always choose real life over green screen when possible.
