    • Also, remember in season 1’s episode 5, coincidentally, when Loki asked Classic Loki how did he escape Thanos, he revealed that he disguised himself as inanimate debris and lived the rest of his life on a desolate planet. He lived the rest of his life in solitude until the TVA found him and pruned him to The Void. This scene sounds like Loki remembered Classic Loki here and didn’t want to live alone. Loki misses his brother and his mother. He has seen the way he perishes in the sacred timeline and he knows that only him, a variant of that Loki, can save himself and write a better story for himself other than the trajectory he was upon had he not taken the Tesseract from 2012’s timeline. In Kang’s words: Loki has “seen the way it ends”, further proving the theory that Loki might actually become a version of He Who Remains.

In the mid season trailer, I think green button also indicated to Loki's colour, which means he's the one who has to do it for them to win.

    @christopherbwlacy@christopherbwlacy6 ай бұрын
    • He Who Remains didn't call himself He Who Remains because he was the ruler of the TVA. He chose this nickname because he was 'the last man standing' in the multiverse war, the one who defeated and survived all his opponents. I doubt they'll be able to cram the multiversal war into the last episode, so Loki won't be He Who Remains. He may become the ruler of the TVA, although I personally think something like that would soon become boring to him and he would be inclined to wander away to do something exciting.

He doesn't want to become the lonely, older version of himself we met in season one that lived alone for years until he was pruned for wanting to go see his brother, Thor. Stan Lee was a pioneer but I will never forgot Jack Kirby...may they both rest in peace.

  • One interesting thing I liked was how all the lines in the end credits start becoming curved like branched timelines and moving out of place. It really hypes up the tension that everything is just falling apart and there is a ticking clock for our heroes to save all of time and reality. Love that attention to detail the Loki series has, even changing things up in the end credits.

  • KANG THE CONQUEROR: “I can make it…so you never left her. Hope is going to open the door and you’ll be there.” LOKI: “I can bring you back to any point in time. It’ll be like you never left.” When I heard this, I immediately connected it back to what Kang said in Ant-Man: Quantumania when speaking to Janet. Loki is in real time realizing that he can control his own story…AND OTHERS. And while at that moment, he probably only intended that he could bring him back via the TempPad, he eventually figures out by the end of this episode that he can “control” his time-slipping. I love the theories that in actuality, there is a LOKI WHO REMAINS that is either further at the end than He Who Remains…and that other theory that HWR himself is still just controlling Loki’s time-slipping because this was his plan all along and he “paved the way”, which would tie into the theme of the “ouroboros.” Also, I think it would be cool to see Loki become this “Prime” character to recruit the Avengers in helping to stop the multiversal war. That would really be a full circle moment for the entire MCU. A Loki who has achieved his glorious purpose, now a God of Stories, helping to save endless timeless & universes from selfish, tyrannical savages trying to gain control of the multiverse. This would absolutely solidify Loki as one of the characters in the MCU with the most dynamic redemption arc. I cannot wait for the Season Finale! I hope they won’t scrap Kang as per the rumors. We need to see our heroes go up against the Council of Kangs and Jonathon Majors has delivered FLAWLESSLY.

  • I love the backstory they gave Mobius. Basically it's just like he had feared - he had lived a good life on the timeline, the memory of which has been erased from his brain. He was a loving single father (I wonder if his wife died or divorced him and abandoned her sons) who joined the TVA not because some evil guy abducted him from home but because he wanted to keep his sons safe. And I especially love how he thinks everyone's life would be definitely much improved if that person just bought themselves a jet ski. He's not just your typical salesman but a jet ski nerd who wants to sell a jet ski to everyone he meets. Not because he wants to make a profit but because he genuinely believes that a jet ski would change their life for the better.

  • Like I've been saying, Loki is going to become the God of Stories. The next thing they'll do is make sure to bring it back around on itself, meaning, he'll try and try to change the past, but in doing so he's only perpetuating the future. He's going to inadvertently be the reason there's a Kang in every timeline. Oh, and once he is the one to go out onto the walkway, all of the other branching versions of himself will spaghetti and cease to exist. There can be only one. Except Sylvie, she's go the tempad of HWR.

  • So in essence, the conclusion Loki is coming to is that Loki originally created The TVA and The TVA is where in the universe and timeline Loki(Variant) belongs. All I could think at the end of Episode 5 was that he could(or should) now be called The Loki That Remains. I'm willing to bet that that will be the title of the finale.

I love the fact that at the end of every episode I end up in awe wondering wtf did just happen and wanting to watch the next episode immediately. Loki saying "is not why but who" I believe it is not about who he thinks about when time slipping but about who is able to time slip. There has to be a reason why he can do it and nobody else can, even Silvie can´t do it. Maybe it is because he's the only one who can save the sacred timeline and the TVA. We've seen him walking that catwalk in the trailer, maybe he is the one predetermined to do the job. What happens after that is anybody's guess.

In the few moments where Loki spent with Mobius OB spent all that time making his tempad then once it was finished he tracked Loki somehow and went to him. Loki was confused at first because for him he just handed OB the book a few moments ago and then "poof" he shows up with a working tempad, OB then corrects him saying "after you slipped away I spent 18 months making this" Wibbly wobbly timey wimey was a phrase I used several times while watching this season.

    @andrewgarcia9726@andrewgarcia97266 ай бұрын
  • So my theory is that when Loki and Sylvie met, He Who Remains at the END of Time was the Beginning of TVA and Sacred Timeline. Like an Ouroboros reference, It's like an END and a NEW Beginning of a cycle. Meeting HWR is the end of the TVA and Sacred timeline is the end of the cycle but, killing HWR is the start of the new cycle of the creation of TVA and HWR that's why HWR waited for Loki and Sylvie because they are the main catalyst of the creation of the Sacred Timeline. And maybe of all the Gods the variants of Loki are the more resistant to the Temporal Radiation and a variant of Loki is also capable of time slipping that is the main catalyst in the creation of TVA and the Sacred Timeline. HWR who exploited and experimented with different cycle got it perfectly on this one cycle where in order to succeed he needs to die at the END of TIME.

I don't remember who the author was, but the protagonist was Loki, and the alien race he was fighting were time travellers, who were giants. Sylvie inadvertently gave him timeslipping powers by sending him to the TVA (way in the past) using HWR's temp-pad, while she uses the same temp-pad to travel timelines. Both their memories are insulated against temporal events. I still maintain that HWR planned all of this to some extent, perhaps with some uncertainty.
