Ellen Ripley of Alien and Sarah Conner of The Terminator aren’t loved because they’re strong women characters, it’s because they’re strong badass characters that just so happen to be women. Unfortunately, we live in a timeline where HollyWood is flooding the industry with strong women characters that have 0 character growth and personality.

It's dropped from 91% to 77% with it's audience score in just the last 2 days. I heard it's because people don't like Jonathan Majors in it because of his allegations.

    @Marvelousgamer7697@Marvelousgamer76976 ай бұрын
    • *Loki* Any great movie or TV show needs to have characters we can root for or we can love and care about. Loki has this. Look at some of my favorite sitcoms of all-time... I Love Lucy Lucy, Ricky, Fred, Ethel Gilligan's Island Gilligan, Skipper, Thurston, Lovey, Ginger, Professor, and Mary Ann.... Married... with Children Al, Peggy, Kelly, Bud, Buck, Marcy, Jefferson, Steve, Griff, Al's No MA'AM crew. Three's Company Jack, Janet, Larry, Chrissy, Cindy, Terry, Stan, Helen, Ralph, and all the hot babes Jack and Larry hook up with. We need to love these characters as if they are our friends we get to see weekly on TV. Stranger Things and Cobra Kai are popular because we love a lot of characters in them. We love Star Wars, Game of Thrones, House of the Dragon, and The Boys for the same reasons. We love so many characters in them. That's who keeps us engaged to the story. I personally didn't care for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. I didn't hate it but I found it overrated. I enjoyed Across the Spider-Verse more and even that threw too much into my face like Into the Spider-Verse did. Loki is the best MCU project ever. Since I love time travel movies like the Back to the Future Trilogy, Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure, and Hot Tub Time Machine, it's the perfect series for me to watch. I hope Loki can go another 3 seasons. I believe it can but who knows? Almost every popular series doesn't stay consistently good the longer it goes. LOST had a terrible final season, their 6th one. People tuned out of The Walking Dead by S7. Then it kept going up to S11 and then more spinoffs. We know what happened to Game of Thrones after S6. What more can the Loki series offer with Secret Wars coming in 4 years? Listen, I personally want more seasons of Loki. I feel it can become a fun time travel cop show. Think Bill & Ted meets Men In Black. Would love to see Loki and his TVA pals in more fun time traveling adventures. But would people still care if we know Secret Wars is coming? So at the end of 2x4, every character got spaghettified except Loki and Sylvie? That's what's implied. We need Renslayer and Miss Minutes back. We didn't see the scene in 2x5 when Renslayer sees Alioth. I guess in the next one. I disagree with Erik Voss that Miss Minutes is the real villain of Loki S2. If she is, how exactly does that raise the stakes? She's a cartoon clock! She's less of a threat than Ultron for being a messed up, psychopath A.I. *Frank* *Morris* Loki being D.B. Cooper worked better for me because nobody has a photograph of him. There was only a sketch of him. You can look up Frank Morris and you'll find a mug shot of him. He's a white dude and Eugene Cordero is a Filipino-American. I did find Casey's origin story fun to know. Had a great line saying, "We'll get caught like fish." Casey would be the oldest of the group since Frank Morris was born in 1926 and would be 97 in 2023. I do feel we need more seasons because Loki already did such great world building with the TVA. It would feel like such a waste to end this series after two seasons. I feel it can operate independently without the need to set up future MCU films and other projects. Think of Tony Gilroy's Rogue One and Andor being their own thing in Star Wars without needing Jedis and lightsabers. I'm hearing the viewership for Loki S2 haven't been good though. Worse than Ahsoka! I guess it's like Andor where it's well-written but nobody is really watching it except dedicated MCU or Loki fans. Be a shame if Loki ends after two seasons. But then again, maybe The Mandalorian should've ended after S2 too? If Loki 2x6 is the final series episode, I hope it ends on a high note. We'll probably see a Thor and Loki reunion at some point in the future. Thor in Ragnarok: "Loki, I thought the world of you. I thought we were gonna fight side-by-side forever, but at the end of the day, you're you and I'm me. I don't know, maybe there's still some good in you. But let's be honest: our paths diverged a long time ago." Emmett Brown in BTTF3: “It means your future hasn't been written yet. No one's has! Your future is whatever you make it. So make it a good one!” Loki in Loki 2x5 Science/Fiction: "I can rewrite the story."

  • Hey Canadian Lad, I think I got the reason why Loki wasn't able to control his time-slipping before but was able to do it afterwards - When Loki goes in the past to meet O.B who was a sci-fi writer, O.B says to Loki that his time-slipping is not random and asks why does he need to time-slip. Loki answers by saying He needs to protect the TVA from what's coming(which we get to know is not true). Then, O.B says if that's the real 'why' that is guiding him, he should be able to time-slip.... Cut to next scene when Loki meets Sylvie - Loki tells to Sylvie that he wants his friends back and that is the reason he wants Sylvie to help her. And after that he was able to time-slip. I think that is only the reason why Loki couldn't control his time-slipping before but after finding his real *WHY* (as O.B mentioned ) he could control it.

But episode 5 slowed down and actually explained everything, the glorious purpose, with style, while finally revealing the big stake of TVA's demise visually.

    @BrokenSoulConfession@BrokenSoulConfession6 ай бұрын
    • The first 4 episodes of this season were a situation of the dooms day count down. Loki and the cast were rushing to stop the end. That was built up in episode 6 of season 1, and we had multiple groups being active characters. It was chaos, but honestly, that is the point. Episode 5 is the fallout and now only two survivors remain. One is trying to actively solve the problem while the other believes the situation is the problem already solved. They both interact and advance the story with the position of active player swapping briefly towards the end of the episode. We now have only 1 active character, and the final episode is likely to deal with the weight that places on Loki as he will have to make hard decisions. He is faced with no good answers as I assume they can't just fix the loom. I assume this as we have multiple images from the trailers still not accounted for.

  • What was always really cool in this episode, was what I believe, every thing there was a black out on screen (as if it was a cut scene) you can see the important points of time aka nexus events there were happening that allowed the Loki to be what he become in episode 6, I think it's a really cool detail that the directors added almost showing us where the "story" breaks off the scared timeline into this new one

    • Also I bet the Quantum radar tech from AntMan3 has something to do with locating things in other timelines. As in, there is a single quantum realm for ALL universes, so you can move between realities using it. TVA tech builds on top of this, but without the need to shrink the travelers. But they didn't develop this concept in AntMan, which is a shame.

The writing is so good and watching all these episodes I know they won't disappoint with the finale as Secret Invasion did. This shows that Marvel needs the right directors and writers so they can make good Movies/Shows! Thor: Love and Thunder, She-Hulk, and Secret Invasion are prime examples of that.

I'm so happy that this show is demonstrating that good quality shows and movies can be still made by Marvel Studios if time and care put into it without politics inserted into it.
