    • sadly, that those behind the scenes workers they keep mentioning are usually bad writers, not the true masters, props workers, engineers, stunt safety workers and doubles, safety and medical crew, technicians, the ones that all of whom actually deserve more than actors themselves, but they are paid a bit more than grocery store workers. I have personally been , well not in a hollywood movie, but a local in my country in technical crew as welder. Well , compared to what the writers get, us who actually make the movie possible, and are responsible for actors safety, we get nothing. But well, im glad im not working full time for things like that, because im working for building constructions, and i would never take any job at movie industry to weld anything, because i get like 1/4th per hour of what i can get for actually working on constructions for things that stay there forever.

If she and DeNiro both won that would’ve been a full circle moment. Loved the end of this. The best part. Acknowledging the behind the scenes crew as you rarely hear that. And the fact that the whole place stood up and cheered shows the actors are well aware of it. They are working with them side by side for months on end.

Look, I get that that’s his “schtick”, but he should do that more on his talkshow instead, if he wants to, and then keep it a bit more on “the downlow” tbh whenever he’s doing these big Oscar monologues etc. Just imo.
