.............................................................
Have you ever wondered why Bugattis are SO expensive? Well, we have, which is why we’ve done some investigating and made this video!
Now naturally, some reasons are pretty obvious. Of course, the Bugatti Chiron comes equipped with an incredible W16 engine that produces over 1,500hp, and from the front to the rear, you will find high-quality materials throughout these limited-edition hypercars.
But it’s not just down to the materials. Let’s also remember that there are a very limited number of Bugattis around… After all, Bugatti is set to only make 500 Chirons! And of course, it doesn’t just end there. These cars go through some rigorous, exclusive testing to ensure they are built to the best quality possible for every high-spending customer.
But is that all? Of course not! Stick with Mat for an all-inclusive deep-dive into what makes these hypercars so expensive!

Bugatti's are just a collector's item. This was one of the main reasons why VW let go Bugatti. Long story short, it's like Picasso's story: "Picasso was recognised by a lady in a coffee shop and asked to make a quick sketch. When he finished the quick sketch he asked a large amount of money with it in return. The lady was shocked and asked why it costs this much when it just took minutes. Picasso replied that it took years of practice to make it in minutes, causing the price." Same with Bugatti's. Their respect and magnificent engineering makes it so expensive. Even though it's 'just' a car that can bring you from A to B, it's the story that you buy and the story flows through the engine. 😉
Its so expensive that only the very best Bugatti owners can buy those.
What I like about Bugatti is that they are for VW what Formula 1 is for others - a way of showing what they can. with the difference that customers pay for Bugattis. (although I once heared they still made huge loss, as the development costs are just insane)

Putting our time and effort in activities and investments that will yield a profitable return in the future is what we should be aiming for. Success depends on the actions or steps you take to achieve it.
Starting early is the best way of getting ahead to build wealth, investing remains a priority. The stock market has plenty of opportunities to earn a decent payouts, with the right skills and proper understanding of how the market works.

that W16 is so unnecessary though... Koenigsegg makes 1600hp from a 5l V8, yes it's on E85, but still on Petrol it makes 1280hp... from a 5l engine... that would be comparable to the 8l W16 making 2050hp. For a Hypercar engine it's SO inefficient. Plus a 5.0L engine running on E85 is way more eco friendly than a 8L engine running on pump gas.
if anything its actually more efficient, due to the hp per cylinder being significantly lower, It means that the engine is being put under far less stress and will actually run for much longer than some of these crazy V8's. Im sure Bugatti has engineers that could get that engine way into the 2000's for hp figures, but at the end of the day, most customers aren't that fussed, and want reliable engines that make them go wow when they step on the loud pedal
Couldn’t agree more, Koenigseggs engine is amazing.
@@ash3r123 Sure sure, I get that less power = less stress = more reliability... But at the same time though I've never heard reliability problems in Koenigsegg engines, at least not since they stopped using ford engines and developed their own engine.

Partly the cost will be down to everything being engineered to the finest of tolerances. The finer the tolerances, the finer and more OCD is focused on critical components, like in F1, and that pushes prices up exponentially. Also, everything is hand built and hand assembled. Also exotic materials are used throughout (titanium alloy and other high melting point elements and alloys used to forge the pistons, con rods, crankshafts, valve trains out of). In addition, pump technology must be right out there: fuel, oil and air pumps, radiators, etc., must be extremely powerful, robust and high quality to cope with the PSI pressures they are subjected to. I'll bet even the consummables - like gaskets - are high tech and made of exotic compounds too! Also, there is exclusivity which adds to prices: ultra small production runs means that huge numbers of engineers, relatively, employed to design, build and test small production runs of cars. That combinrd labour pushes up the price, not to mention the time involved to go from blue print to finished product. Then there will be all the costs involved with any customer changing almost anything they like to their choice and specification. God that gold look is crasse and bad taste!!
Average $1800000 per car.
