The Brutal Reality of the Middle East | Mosab Hassan Yousef | EP 443

Dr. Jordan B. Peterson sits down in person with Mosab Hassan Yousef. They discuss the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, the chaos created by Yasser Arafat, how Palestine has globalized their radical cause, Mosabs time as a prisoner, what set him free, and the far-from-paved road going forward.
Mosab Hassan Yousef (born in 1978) is a Palestinian ex-militant who defected to Israel in 1997 where he worked as an undercover agent for the Shin Bet until he moved to the United States in 2007. Yousef was considered the Shin Bet's most reliable source in the Hamas leadership, earning himself the nickname "The Green Prince.” The intelligence he supplied to Israel led to the exposure of many Hamas cells, as well as the prevention of dozens of suicide bombings and assassination attempts on Jews. Yousef’s father is Sheikh Hassan Yousef, a co-founder of Hamas.
Dr. Peterson's extensive catalog is available now on DailyWire+: bit.ly/3KrWbS8

    • The strange thing is that they think Christians don't like Israelis. I've been on cruises with Israelis and I've been in NYC hospitals with Israelis. I always tell them their greatest friends on Earth are practicing Christians. In each case, when I told them that, they were surprised. I told them they are our older Brothers and Sisters. They have no stronger friends than real Christians. Jew-hate is the realm of Godless people. Today's scum protesting only worship themselves. Those who do not believe in God, don't believe in nothing, but they will believe anything.

  • I grew up with many middle eastern friends. Turkish, Kurdish, Albania, lebanese, iranian, afghani...you name it. I got to witness how muslim girls were treated when they dared to step out of line. I witnessed lovely and kind little muslim boys turn into teenagers/ men who'd later beat and humiliate their sisters in the name of honour. Muslim boys were happy to date outside their religion and have girlfriends that didn't dress modest, while they'd shame and beat their own sisters for wanting to do the same. It wasn't social media propaganda, but first hand experience that built my view on islam.

Sometimes i hear from people that is wrong to generalize this problem, coming with “probably it was just your family like this” and i really dont know how to say this more clearly, of how dark and rotten this “cult” is. This is not about Mousab, or me or any individual. This is a much bigger and darker energy which has gotten into human‘s souls , with them being the primary victims. I cant explain how I feel when I hear young men nowdays (especially the ones from non arab countries) converting to Islam, not knowing ANYTHING what this cult really stands for and what is about , not having ANY actual experience into this hell. It is the pure definition of Evil and everything against what being Human stands for. It rips you off your individual freedoms COMPLETELY. It plays with your mind and heart and evokes unimaginable inner conflicts which manifest into this world as we are all seeing nowdays. Mousab is such a great and strong soul and I can’t thank him enough for all that he is doing , never deviating from the truth at all cost. Mr. Peterson with his clarity and willingness is opening doors of light. What these two men are doing is god’s work and all i can do is give my full support.

I can tell you the pure SHAME of believing somehow you yourself must be responsible is overwhelming. I KNEW that if I said anything people would accuse me. When I finally explained the reason I ran away from home as a young teen was molestation, my own adult son accused me of being a liar. He said " If it really happened I would have gone to a school counselor or the police" . Are you KIDDING ME. My mother told me over and over if I ever complained that I would be snatched up by social services and put in foster care where multiple evils would befall me. It took years of counseling to get up the gumption to speak out. Family indoctrinated shame is very difficult to overcome.

I have been watching you for a while and I noticed that your first film "The Green Prince" has been blocked on the internet because I believe the French are afraid of a civil problem. I can't tell you how you're right 200% and I am sooo disappointed by the fact that the people in the US are so ignorant on this subject. Anyone who is not a muslim is considered “inferior” or a kafir/ Disbeliever. If you would actually STUDY the religion and listen to what leading islamic clerics are saying, you would see clear as day that islam is definitely pro violence and main goal is to EVENTUALLY spread and convert the entire world either by force or “humiliation “ aka paying”jizya” or be killed. The religion is taken seriously by its adherents and that is why islam is basically the only religion on the planet today that isnt willing to “modernize “. It’s clearly written in to the doctrine.

It's a very brutal mentality where people will shame everything that is not by some rules. Fathers and mothers will give up their children for status so they will not be the ones in shame even if that means they will live in the torture for abandoning their child. Ever since I saw the true face of the Muslim nations I realized how impossible it is for them to live in the West so no wonder the majority do not want to integrate because it would force them to end this sick behavior. I'm not saying that everyone is like that but the majority still holds on to these practices. As a 13 year old girl living in Beirut from 1965 through 1969, and evacuated from the 1967 Arab-Israeli war, I remember the birth of Hamas and Hezbollah when my family returned after the war. Lebanon changed overnight! I saw many things that were simply tragic, and know the immorality of Hamas. Thank you for your bravery Mosab Hassan Yousef, may you stay safe!

  • I have a short story about a gay Iranianan I met while volunteering at an animal shelter (RSPCA in Australia). I met him in the kitten/bird section as he was showing me how to deal with those animals since he was the head of that area so to speak. I'm not sure how we go into this conversation but he stated that he left Iran because he was gay. He told me how the older her got the more he realised he liked men, and the more he realised that, the more he acknowledged how dangerous living in Iran was. His father was a strict and devout Muslim. He said he became increasingly paranoid and fearful and so he took a chance in telling one of his sisters (he was terrified of opening up to her because there was a chance she'd tell his dad and the rest of the family out of loyalty and upholding Islam above everything else), thankfully she didn't say anything but encouraged him to talk to his mother. Fast forward, his mother and 3 sisters now knew he was gay so they devised a plan to get him out of the country ASAP. I can't remember the plan but I remember being in awe of how good/smart it was given how tricky the situation. They were able to send him to Australia under the guise of something clever. Education perhaps (I can't remember unfortunately). The mother decided to choose her son and a different life over her husband and their ideology. She accepted her son no matter what so eventually his mother and 3 sisters followed suit to Australia under the guise of something else (I can't remember what) but they had to play it cool and not let anyone suspect a thing. They had to execute this plan over a period of months. So they get to Australia and somehow the gig was up. I guess it all came out eventually and as you can imagine the father was beyond livid. His mother missed Iran and the family a lot but she knew there was no going back because they'd be jailed or killed. The man explained how he had witnessed a lot of shit growing up because of the regime. His mum would still talk to the family by phone (never telling them where they were now located) and they even tried getting them to go back to Iran stating things like 'nothing will happen to any of you we love you and wish to work things out' his mum didn't trust it and knew it was more than likely a trick. I do remember the man saying that Islam is 'dangerous and corrosive' and how people in the west don't realise how good they have it. He knows his father would've turned him over to the authorities or taken his life himself. I remember being speechless pretty much. That was the first time I ever heard a first hand experience of an ex muslim. This was several years ago now, maybe 8 or 9. I wished I remembered more of the details. I never saw him again but I wish I had asked more questions and talked for much, much longer. Really put things into perspective for me

  • I grew up in Belgium as a kid before moving to Canada (some 50 years ago). At that time Islam had not yet invaded the country (today a number of cities around Brussels have large Muslim majorities and are essentially ruled by the Muslim Brotherhood). I must have been around 12 years old when my grandfather told me an Islamic precept what I thought to be a joke: “Beat your wife every day. If you don’t know why … she does!” And of course as a Christian I learned about "Who has never sinned should throw the first stone”. In my mind, as a teenager, these were just figures of speech (i.e. “rhetorical images”) to illustrate the fact that men could sometimes be misogynistic and unjust in their conducts. I can still remember how shocked I was when a few years later (as a young adult), I realized that these in fact were not “figures of speech” and that Muslims today (not 2000 years ago) actually did beat or stoned their wives, sisters and daughters to death. I still can’t imagine that a father, husband or brother could do such things … and yet it happens every single day!
