This is Zowie's first wireless mouse ever, the EC CW series! I have the Zowie EC3 CW but this review will cover all EC series wireless mice. This is a solid ergo mouse but Zowie could have done some things a little different here to make this a better value proposition.

4:40 It allows you to switch between 2 devices on the fly which is a nice to have feature and you really don't need the enhanced receiver for your secondary device. Many other mice offer this too but it's usually bluetooth + 2.4Ghz. Only Vaxee and Zowie offer 2.4Ghz + 2.4Ghz afaik.

zowie is like the toyota of the mouse space, they dont update their products often, but when they do its usually tested and reliable tech.

2:01 GREAT point. The Enhanced Receiver seems like a solution to a problem that doesn't really exist.

For me I love that they included two dongles and let you switch between them because it will let me use the same mouse on my work laptop and on my gaming pc

Bigger dongle better 😂, got it!! I totally agree with your summation about price and weight. Seems silly to be so late to the party and not bring something better.

5:40 Well that's ironic. The argument to why to gold plate the metal is to prevent corrosion.

It might help to test the wifi independently. There is a good chance they have interference. Do you kniw what channels they use? One could be getting interference from your wifi as well..

Finally decided to retire my ec2-a after like a decade and gave in and bought the wireless ec2. we shall see if it holds up or not.

dude I aim with ec2-a like 10 times better then with PRO Superlight. This is just insane I need this shape in PRO Superlight

I have yet to see any evidence for the claim that this enhanced reciever actually improves the signal in any way and that regular recievers have a disadvantage.
