  • If anything I had the opposite problem regarding interference lol. My Fantech XD7 constantly caused ping spikes into the thousands of milliseconds because it was using the same frequency as my WiFi on channel 1. Stopped after switching the network to channel 11. The mouse was working just fine though, so I kinda doubt that massive receiver would improve performance much

  • I don't understand your criticism for the scroll wheel, i find it to be perfect and really tactile with very defined steps, it is my favourite by far compared to every mouse i have owned, The worst one being the dav3 scroll wheel which skips steps and scrolls on its own, that thing had a way too light scroll wheel.

    • totally agree with you here, i was using the da v3 pro with the 4k dongle previously and changed to ec2-cw once it came out in my country. One of the main reasons why i changed was the scroll wheel on the da v3 pro, i would accidentally jump in games constantly (using scroll wheel to jump in cs/valo) and it annoyed the hell out of me. The zowie mouse definitely has a better scrollwheel here, i would say the only downside is that it gets too loud whenever i use the scrollwheel and the sound gets recorded in my game audio whenever i record my gameplay.

    • 100 percent. There's scroll wheels for browsing the internet, and scroll wheels for changing weapons in game (if that's your jam). Having a more tactile and defined step scroll wheel makes more sense in game.

    • a lot of people disliked the feel of the zowie scrollwheel, it’s very slow and heavy to use, and sometimes it didn’t function properly, as in it was defect in some cases. So yea it’s a preference thing. I really dislike the scrollwheel personally, I don’t use the scrollwheel to select weapons ingame, i very early on removed those keybinds. But a lot of my friends swear its the bestest.

    • I never minded the scroll wheel on the 4 zowie mice I own. However, once I started playing Apex Legends, I had to switch to a different mouse as the scroll wheel is important for certain movement mechanics, which are easy to perform on nearly any mouse but the zowie. Another problem with the mouse is the coating, of all mice I own, only the zowie's coating wears down, which results in it gathering up sweat which you have to remove every day. Otherwise, the EC mice have always been perfect for me.

  • I loved my ec1a back before light wireless mice were a thing. But the switches and scroll broke like 5 years in. Yeah well it's actually impressive when you think about it but Idk I didn't expect it to start double clicking. And imagine how I felt like when I proceeded to buy a g502 that started double clicking as well within a year. I literally gave up on trying to find a good mouse and bought a g305 since it was cheap and wireless. Now it's been 3 years since then and I just ordered my first light mouse, a cheap ajazz aj199 for like 45 euros off of ali with vat and shipping which is like half the price of the lamzu atlantis I've been eyeing for the past half a year. I expect it to do the job just fine though, all I want is for it not break within a year lol.

  • My review for EC2-CW, my former is Razer Viper V2 + 4k Dongle added: - The shape of EC2 is really nice. I do think that I prefer Ergo more than Ambi so it's just personal preference. - Performance wise I can't notice any difference. I have 360hz Zowie and I can't really tell the what 4k polling rate improves. - Portability: Now this part is where EC2 shines the most IMO. With the former V2, I kept worrying that the battery would die in the middle of the heat (especially with 4k polling). The EC2 has great battery life, if I want to charge, I don't have to unplug and plug - just put it on the receiver and thing is set. - Software: very plug and play. Sometimes the Synapse would freeze on my PC or dced my V2. - Scroll wheel: For gaming - no problem, its great. For browsing, kinda annoying due to lots of notch, noise, and resistance.

I really wanna try DAV3 but it seems too big, but at the same time if they release a mini version it's gonna be too small. It's like some brands, specially Razer, follow the "Go big or go mini" ideology

    • seems too big but it does feels to big, at least for me, and I don't have large hands but medium sized ones. I just love it, the best mouse I owned to this day. also have, for gaming, the new cobra (the replacement for the viper mini) and it's also great with top edge performance except in battery time that could be better if they continued with the dav3 pro strategy of taking out the RGB (you can dim it to zero in that awful software of razor, synapse, although I like their mice a lot and logitech too which I formerly used and am restarting with a couple only, and you'll save battery but will not save on the weight also due to the RGB which makes the small cobra a 76g mouse compared to 64g of the much bigger but quite comfortable dav3 pro). Cheers

  • The most common complaint I get regarding wireless interference is Bluetooth (most commonly with a bluetooth speaker or a controller, never my trusty Superlight) interfering with Wi-Fi signals at 2.4 GHz, as they have similar bandwidths.

    @CoRe01337@CoRe0133711 ай бұрын
    • strange, such never happened to me. what I do notice is that bluetooth mice are much less reliable compared to rf ones. bluetooth mice, imo, have no place in the gaming niche, but their still useful in trips if you want to connect to devices with few (usb A and even C) connections like some budget notebooks or great "working" stations for my field of work (which requires small and mobile) like iPdads or MS Surface Pro (both can be used 2 in one, tablet or decent laptop for field work). Again with the scroll wheel, it has nice tactile steps which is good for when it's bound to jump like most counter strike players use. A dockless version I can support but to be honest it's super convenient and you won't wear the USB port out. As far as the weight that just isn't why people buy zowie. It's light enough. People buy zowie because they're no frills, no bullshit.

Press hard up far to the left on the mouse1 button and it will stop registrate that you are holding it down making it unusable in games where you sometimes need to spray with a weapon (Like CS:GO) it just shoots 2 bullets and then stop the click registration. I waited years for a Wireless Zowie, only for them to release an overpriced china product that seems to come straight out of Wish and a container in Shenzhen with no quality control whatsoever, and I could not use it at all in games due to how I hold the mouse. Threw it after 2 minutes of gameplay. Been thinking to get another one and see if I get the same problem, but its not worth it knowing how trash it was for that insane price for some china plastic.

Idk, I want a Zowie mouse one day to see the hype that they had in the past, but I really love light mice, and after using g-wolves mice, I literally have no clue why zowie doesn't have mice with holes/honeycomb or something. Just seems silly nowadays imo. I know others like the Lamzu or Logitech don't have holes either, but they definitely tried new things, vs what Zowie's doing. They're like apple where they'll wait for something to become a standard 3 years after it's been out and they're now like "Here's our innovation" I got no heat with zowie, I'm just surprised they truly aren't trying to make something competitive in the market.

I am 2700 elo on FACEIT, if that means something to other CS:GO gamers reading this chat, and I have used many mice (DA V2 pro, DA V3 pro, superlight, prime wireless, rival 600 and 650) and for me the best feeling is with Zowie. Just take a wireless mouse and plug the cable, you will feel a little bit of difference in your aim, you will have a little better control. With Zowie is the same with station or cable. Must add about the scroll. It must be clicky for CS:GO players (and in the other games where you use scroll for jumping). If scroll is too soft, I use mouse button 3 for HE nade, and I press it to take the nade, sometimes my character jump, cause I also jump by scrolling.

  • The fact that you can get wireless mouse with PAW3395 sensor for 50 bucks just makes this mouse irrelevant. Wholeheartedly agree gigachad specs is not everything when it comes to making a good gaming mouse but you really need to ask yourself is a mouse really worth 100 dollars ?

    @maman89@maman896 ай бұрын
    • The fact that what matters is the implementation, not specs on a paper. I agree Zowie has gone nuts with their pricing and I would never pay MSRP as an enthusiast, $100 for a product from a household name, built like a tank with a renowed shape is fair tbh.

  • I love zowie, a typical paypiggy company, mouse that costs $15 to make is being sold for $150 it is impressive, and low iq people still fall for it. Love seing it, just love it.

    • it's your opinion. I have, not only but also, a dav3 pro and in terms of technology is some steps ahead and performs way better (also, from my experience). same goes to also owned razer cobra pro and Logitech G305 Lightspeed. people really have distinct gaming experiences, still if the tech is not there and if the shell feels like chinese made plastic... great for you, then. Cheers

    • @@theKERY I still daily drive a perforated g703 for 2 years just because the shape is that good, the Lamzu Thorn might actually be the perfect alternative option if it’s slightly bigger and the back is a bit more tapered.
