  • Funny and informative as always One thing I'd add that I've been experiencing myself is to consider the weight of your mouse For a month I've been using a 70g XM1r on Aqua Control 2 mousepad and it felt perfect on the brand new parts but way too slow where I was using it the most - developed a very slow spot(still not sure what happened there, almost no one seems to agree that that's a thing, but I know what I felt) I changed to a 48g mouse lately and all of a sudden that same mousepad which seemed to have too much friction before feels perfect(tbh 48g is too light for "precision" games like csgo, with a low sens at least)

  • good video, i took for reference to my election, I used to have a Corsair MM100 Black Mouse Pad, I don't know if it's considered control because it didn't have much glide, it came in a kit, then I switched to a generic one and I felt that the speed of my GPX and viper mini increased and my precision in valorant and apex improved. then I was planning to buy a fnatic dash or a X-Raypad Aqua Control Plus or maybe an ARTISAN ZERO, any advice?

    • I got the gigantus V2 medium size. It's pretty great for control and I play on very high sens (aprox 7cm 360, 3200dpi) but I'm looking for something maybe a little faster. But so far it's been great it's also very affordable. It doesn't have the stitching but for this price it feels great. But one thing I've noticed and also heard form others is that it's smoother horizontal than veritical. Which is actually really nice for aiming. But I also heard that this is random or that it depends on the size. That the larger sizes are faster veritcal instead of horizontal which is what makes me not want to buy a bigger version and why I'm looking for something else instead

  • I was a high level CS player back in the day. We were sent all kinds of pads to try. I've continued playing around with new devices. I was a fan of a warn out func pad on the quick side and a Microsoft Intellimouse explorer 3.0. When steelseries released the qck, I switched to that. Only recently have mice become better than a 3.0. I'm talking very recently. I have yet to find a better surface than a steelseries qck. It's the perfect all around surface. I really want to like newer pads, but they all have major flaws. You can make them work for you, sure... but imo, a qck is STILL what most people should be using.

  • Back in the days I used to swear by the QCK pads, the only issue has always been their durability. They wear out so fast they're basically obsolete the month you bought them. I always felt like silicone pads were super underappreciated. They're thin, stiff enough to expose the tables issues and in my experience have been super consistent and durable. SteelSeries Dex was the best mousepad I ever used, but the small size has been a dealbreaker. The Gigabyte AMP500 has also been a viable bigger and more affordable option. I'm eager to give the pulsar Superglide a try, but I had terrible experiences with other hard pads in the past where they have been sanding down my mices ptfe skates in no time. I'm uncertain if textured glass is any better for skates durability than the other hard-surface pads we had in the past.

    @kreativeGG@kreativeGG Жыл бұрын
    • Hey I've recently gotten the skypad 2.0, a friend recommended it to me and I really thought it'd be what I was looking for but it was far from my expectations. The glide gets very slow and inconsistent overtime because of the PTFE dust & it's been sanding down the skates even with moderate pressure on the mouse. Definitely do not recommend getting a glass pad if youre looking for consistency. My mpc450 with glass skates were the perfect combination for speed & consistency at least in my experience. I did hear that these aluminosilicate glass skates slow down & ruin the pad overtime though

  • Good video, I might try the Qck Heavy after my years old Qck plus, here is a comment I left on a similar video on a different channel: Even though I appreciate your nicely produced reviews I would advise people to always make their own decision no matter how good someone says a mousepad is. Why? I've been a long term Qck user (probably 6 years) and Artisan was widely mentioned lately and people generally talked bad about the Qck. I bought the "recommended" Artisan that's similar, but "better" than the Qck - the Zero. While it's an okay mousepad I'm so used to my Qck that I'm thinking about coming back to it. I'm very used to the strong stopping power the Qck provides, even in fast tracking games like Apex. The Artisan feels similar, but I always notice I'm missing that feel. I take care of my old Qck and I like the feel of it, never had a need to replace it, but I was really interested in the Artisan. You can get into a deep rabbit hole by getting into mousepads or you can stick to what works. And don't let me get started on "light mice are better for fps games". Like with everything, it's all preference.

I feel like the mat is stopping my mouse a bit too much when i try to move the mouse and change direction when aimng so it feels a bit stuttery. Ofc the pad is old and ive never cleaned it so i understand thats a big factor. Never changed skates on my 3 year old Hati s either. Ive looked at the memoria pro, lånespelare, saturn regular, gp4 colored and to maybe just buy a new gp4 black. I mainly play deceive inc if you know what it is? Theres both tracking and flicking so i want the best of both worlds. I dont really use the ”press the mouse down” when stopping a swipe. I use what i think is a lower sens but i dont really remember my cm per 360. Think around 38cm no ads and and around 66 ads. Actually think its a bit too slow when im not aiming but cant go higher because then i cant aim lol. ( dont really ads in deceive inc) Would you reccomend any of these pads or another?

  • I'm just puttin' this out there. I've been using squares of microfiber from old couch backrest cushions for the last 5 years and I wouldn't go back to a mousepad for anything. The mouse glides over it and the cursor reaches one side of the screen to the other in just over an inch of mouse movement. There is no slipping as the mouse won't even move if you tap it on the side but the microfiber still acts as a glideable, (not a word?) smooth surface. Not exactly sure what's coming into play in that regard but I swear by it. It does get matted after quite awhile but I just cut a new square from the cushion casing I kept. This came about when I started using my wireless mouse on my couch and noticed that it was 100% better than the mousepad I was using. Needless to say I ended up with a dark grimy patch on my couch but I needed a new one anyway so when I replaced it, I kept the cases from the backrest cushions. I swear to god, if you ever have the opportunity to use a piece of furniture microfiber, do it. I came to this video because I was having issues with my mouse but now that I see that hovering over the screen while watching this video, there's nothing wrong so probably the crappy unoptimized early access game I'm playing or the bottom of the mouse itself. Lol.
