In week three of the 2016 college football season, second ranked Florida State travelled to Louisville to face the #10 Cardinals. Quarterback Lamar Jackson went 13/20 for 216 yards and five touchdowns. Jackson went on to win the Heisman trophy as he showed off his athleticism in similar fashion the rest of the season.

    • I was so ecstatic when we drafted him. Not just cuz I was a fan of his and I was getting tired of Flacco, but I also trusted the team would make it work for him instead of changing him. Hopefully this year we make the changes in the system to push him even higher.

    • I was at that game. I'm a Clemson fan. Craziest atmosphere I've ever seen at a Clemson game, crowd noise got to 110Db before almost every play Louisville ran. Refs even called a "crowd noise" penalty. Insane game.

  • I lived in Michigan at the time. I was waiting in line to get into The Big House to watch the Michigan-Colorado game. All the buzz in the crowd was about how Lamar Jackson was no joke and that Louisville was scary good. It made me so happy as a huge UofL fan to hear the fans of a blue blood program like Michigan speak so well of Louisville.

November is going to be special for me as I spent my birthday in the hospital receiving the ultimate gift, a kidney! A year later and I'm feeling alright. So blessed. You getting whooped, and that TD you got, most likely only happened because the defense let up, and is playing protection now since they have the win. That is why a lot of time a team will be losing bad, and all of a sudden in the last two minutes they score. Then people ask”where was that all game?” Um… the defense was playing defense all game that’s what happened lol you scored at the end because they not only playing deep protection, so giving you all the close passes, but most the starters are now out, and on the bench lol

  • I like how in the early going they didn’t just go straight to Lamar’s running ability. From what it looks like they used FSU’s overestimation on trying to cover Lamar that they left the running back opening for some big explosive plays and holes to run through. After that they just kept second guessing themselves and never were able to stop the RPO - it was just non-stop attacks from the Cards.
