  • For the lenses, you could also use black sunglasses for the lenses if they’re big enough.

  • Just stumbled across this, fantastic job! The rougher texture lends itself to an ANH style helmet. Add the widows peak, smaller lower vent and red lenses and it would look unreal!

  • Impressive most impressive. You did a good job on it. It's like a mix between Rebels Vader and film Vader. Note: most of the original helmets had no interior detail. They were just 2 pieces like you have.

  • This is awesome stuff. You are really talented. I wonder if theres a coating you can use to the get the finish even smoother? I know cardboard is a porous material so it has some challenges. But I wonder for something as glossy as Vaders helmet, if you can coat it with 2k Clear or Future Floor Wax?

  • How much structural strength does the spackel, filler and paint add to your helmets? Are they still very fragile due to it being made of cardboard or can you handle them more carelessly and not be as worried about breaking it?

  • As a Vader Cosplayer, I’m very impressed with this video. Your idea of the lenses is actually very smart. I might try that method. Then I would need transparent paint and eye mesh. Thank you for this idea.
