  • Vader's suit in Episode III is so underappreciated. The helmet tucking in under his chest armor just makes for an overall sleeker look that sadly seems forgotten.

    • He looks so much more sinister and robotic. His Chest panel has bright green instead of muted blue and he is much more shiny. Truly the greatest design for his suit

  • I think the tragic aspect of Anakin is that he was always a slave from birth to the final moments near his death. A slave to Watto, then the Jedi, then Palpatine, and always enslaved to his darkest emotions, specially pain and anger. Only when he decides to save the only person who still loved and believed in him despite his past, did he got to enjoy the freedom he always wanted. In that way, Luke saved him from himself.

    • They also do a good job setting the prophecy in the prequels as a factor so that makes him killing Palpatine in Ep 6 and redeeming himself so much more satisfying

    • Honestly, it makes sense. When you're a child, you're more trusting of others and from the stories he heard of them, he idolized the Jedi, so since he was freed, he went with the Jedi as his mother requested and told her that he'd one day return to free her too. When he did return due to a vision that disturbed him and she died in his arms, he didn't just lose his mother, he failed to keep that promise and lashed out in violence. The experience opened him up to believing his visions and fearing the deaths of his loved ones.

    • Technically he didn’t kill Padme. Sidious lied, and the medical droid said there was no medical explanation for her death beyond depression. But I guess indirectly he did cause her death because his actions broke her heart triggering the depression that killed her.

  • Fun fact: The reason Anakin's force ghost is his younger self and not his older self is symbolic because in his younger self, it was the death of anakin and the birth of Darth vader. He died as the sithlord darth vader, but Anakin's ghost is what remained.
