    • We are not in USSR times. Modern Russia is not a superpower anymore. A country with an economy the size of Spain can never be considered a superpower. They just did not have as powerful army as most people thought they did. And btw most analysts don't see any win on the horizon for Ukraine whatsoever.

Russia has been condemned by the majority of the world's countries. They have been sanctioned by most countries, and are locked out of most international trade. Additionally half of their sovereign wealth fund assets are frozen and half their military materiell is broken. Not sure what a win by Russia could be considered to look like, but certainly it does not look like one.

And the other day a new law on mobilization was adopted, where the clause on demobilization was completely removed, that is, if you are sent to the front, you will fight endlessly, like a slave, until you are killed or you become crippled without arms or legs. In turn, we then send other weapons to Ukraine, so the bill is really about supplying our own military with weapons systems. Also, some Media and members of Congress are NOT representing the Russia Ukraine conflict truthfully, fairly. Our support of Ukraine is fundamental to stopping Russia from reconstituting a new authoritarian expansive power in Europe. We either spend money now stopping Putin's immutable military expansion, or the circumstances will guarantee that in two or three years, we will be involved in a World War with US troops fighting in Europe, losing thousands of soldiers and spending trillions of dollars. MT Green and many members of Congress who are scrambling for the US to not provide help to Ukraine under the guise of focusing on "domestic" policies are the very ones who will get us involved in worse international wars. The US/Mexico border is a problem, buy saying that you will not stop Putin's authoritarian destruction in Europe until we solve the US border problem is nonsense. The problem is that after WW2, Europe did not develop production capabilities for large-scale munitions and weapons assembly; the US is the major provider and production region. That is up to $ 730 billion since the beginning of the special military operation. Since the beginning of the special military operation at least 300, 000 Russian soldiers have been killed. That'sRussian blood on Putin's hands The Russian people have paid about $ 600 billion and had more than 300,000 of their brothers, husbands and fathers killed in return. Another two years of the so very 'limited military operation' will double these figures: an investment of $ 1,200 billion with an ROI of more than 600 000 dead Russian bodies. Putin is clearly very stupid and bloodthirsty not to want to stop this ruinous 'limited military operation' . He has blood on his hands, don't you agree edpeterson?
