I think that you should call the case by its proper name. The election interference case. If it were merely “hush money”, there wouldn’t be a case.
Yeah, the media love a titillating title. The "falsifying business records trial" just doesn't have the same appeal as the hush money trial.
If they did that we would forget that this started with Trump paying to hide an affair. He doesn't care about people knowing he is a fraud but he cared enough about this lie to pay and lie to keep it hidden. The jurors aren't watching and they know full well what the charges are. In this type of case you can ONLY have campaign finance fraud if the expenditure was solely related to the campaign and would not have been made for any other reason (personal or business).
