    • Says who? Alabama thanks to their oline specifically just dominates the sec almost every year since 2009. Henry did nothing but run through huge holes. It's easy to call a conference the best when they just play each other. Look at sec this season they were called the best and had 2 teams in the playoffs. And big 10 was called the second best. Yet pre conference games and bowl games proved that big 10 was the worst and sec was the second worst of the major conferences. Yet those 2 conferences were the only big conference that took up the playoffs just cause they were claimed to be the best without any proof.

  • Agree with everything except for Peyton Manning over Charles Woodson. Woodson could do literally everything, he was an elite receiver, lethal weapon running with the ball, as well as being an elite return man he was one of the best defensive players in College Football history! He was insanely versatile and just like you said, it matters how well you perform at the end of the season and Wooson had a receiving touchdown, return touchdown and a interception against a top 4 team in the nation. Finally Manning couldn't beat an elite team, he lost to Florida and Nebraska by more than 10 points in each game. However Woodson performed against elite teams beating Ohio State and Washington State as well as Number 2 Penn State. Oh and Michigan won the natty and finished 11-0 and first in the AP poll.

    @benjamingreenwald5825@benjamingreenwald58253 жыл бұрын
    • Woodson was a beast but your argument about Manning got some holes in it, Ohio St got crushed by Florida St in bowl game who lost to Florida and Penn St lost to Florida in the bowl game 21-6 and was not even close, Washington St had one of the weakest schedules in the country that year and was one play away from beating Michigan. It was back when the Pac and the Big would not play in the BCS and good thing they did not in my opinion. Woodson winning it I have no problem with that but Peyton played a much tougher schedule.

  • McCaffrey was nearly invisible when Stanford got upset opening week, and Stanford was nationally irrelevant the rest of the year. Henry literally carried Alabama to a championship. • I think Rocket Ismail should’ve won the Heisman in 1990 over Ty Detmer. A lot of fans assume Ismail won the trophy b/c he was so electric and known for his game breaking ability. His stats don’t tell the entire story b/c he split time at WR & RB while also adding KR/PR duties. Detmer was a system QB that put up PlayStation like numbers much like the Texas Tech QBs did in the Air Raid offenses of the early 2000s or Timmy Chang & Colt Brennan at Hawaii. Plus, BYU got demolished in their final two games where Detmer wasn’t even competitive against unbanked Oregon & then their bowl game. Rocket & Eric Bienenemy should’ve both been above Detmer in the final voting.

    • @aaron short once again he has a freakish oline and all he does is run straight up not lowering his head and most of the time running straight forward. he's actually an easy tackle head on, or if you go high on him he is an easy one on one tackle. Which is odd for his size but its because he doesn't know how to run leveled and use his body. It's just going forward and you can make an easy one on one tackle. However he breaks leg tackles easy. Almost all of his broken tackles are either from leg tackles or diving at angles. Alot of his yards come in particular inflated games. About a quarter of his yards were just against Texans who allow him to get a million yards against them always.

  • Disagree on Deshaun Watson. I know you acknowledged Lamar Jackson deserved it, but he really, really deserved it. He may have been the most exciting CFB player to watch of that decade. Deshaun almost lost to him with ALL of the weapons 2017 Clemson had. Lamar Jackson lost that game in the last second doing everything himself. There wasn’t one other stud on that Louisville roster. Deshaun Watson was outstanding but he couldn’t take down a top 3 team with Louisville’s 2017 roster

  • Jim Mcmahon in 1980 should be considered. Dude went berserk for BYU that year, leading the FBS in almost every single major passing stat by a huge margin. Regardless of the offensive scheme he was in, setting at the time 71 NCAA records, and continuing the upward climb for the BYU program that ended in a 1984 National Title should get you placing better than 5th in your collegiate career.

  • Lost all credit 30 seconds in. I'd take Derrick Henry on my team over McCaffrey all day every day. Not only did he have 200 more rushing yards and 20 more rushing tds than McCaffrey that season that he won the Heisman but he also outshining McCaffrey in the NFL too being the rushing leader 2 years in a row and being only the 8th player in NFL history to rush for 2,000 or more yards. The only people who think McCaffrey should've won are the same haters who have robbed Alabama of Heisman winners for decades because you are sick of their greatness.

    • U say that Henry is one of eight to rush for 2000. McCaffrey is one of three backs in NFL to have 1000 receiving and 1000 rushing in one season. McCaffrey has proven in the NFL that he should have won that Heisman. His versatility wins the day in college and the NFL.

    • @@iwouldsetmyselfonfireforu I'd rather have one of the best running backs of all time and get some good recievers to compliment him. It's not like McCaffrey can play both positions at once. When it comes to being a RB Henry has proven he's one of the greatest of all time while McCaffrey had proven he's just good. McCaffrey might be a better receiver than Henry but he ain't one of the best receivers of all time. Look at the success the teams Henry plays on has vs the teams that McCaffrey plays on. That says everything right there.

  • Colt McCoy should off won over Sam Bradford. Bradford's #'s were padded, bc they never benched the starter, even during a blow out.

  • Lamar deserved it over Watson, Henry deserved it over McCaffrey, Woodson deserved it over Manning. AP deserved one, Archie Griffin’s 2nd Heisman was a straight up robbery. I’d argue that Tua deserved the Heisman over Murray but that one is debatable. I also thought Stroud was better than Caleb Williams in 2022 as well
