    • No trophy not even a Heisman will guarantee anything in the NFL. The Heisman awards the athlete that played the best throughout the season at the college level. However, I think most coaches at the professional level understand that success at the college level doesn’t automatically translate to success at the pro level. I think Manziel is a perfect example of that. It’s

    • @@christopherrodriguez1777 I agree. Where I thought he went sideways wasn’t necessarily his party lifestyle. Truth is, at least in my opinion for what it’s worth, he wasn’t all that good a quarterback to begin with. Many of teams and coaches overlooked certain behaviors and shortcomings of players provided they had some ability that made them a great player of some kind. Manziel just didn’t fit into that equation. It’s possible that his ability was directly linked to his choice on lifestyle but then again maybe not.

Reggie Bush definitely was one of the key pieces for the Saints winning that ring after hurricane Katrina he was everything you wanted in an all purpose running back catching running and punt returns. If I play QB at New Mexico State for example, with a subpar team, and play excellent, going 8-4 with a not so great team, I could excel in the NFL where I have much better players around me. A heisman winner who goes #1 overall is also likely going to start in a trainwreck of an organization as well, which will probably kill their career. Skillsets required in the NFL are also much different. In college, you see teams scoring 40+ points regularly, while in the NFL, most teams score around 20-low 30s. The game differs just so much. • 3:45 INCORRECT - Reggie Bush and the Trojans LOST the 2005 season championship game to the Texas Longhorns at the Rose Bowl. Final score 41-38. Vince Young played an amazing game, but his NFL career fell into the same category of most of these other players unfortunately.

  • Shoutout to Troy Smith who was talked about in this video for a whopping 15 seconds lol They spent almost that same amount of time talking about Tebow playing in the preseason with the Pats and Eagles...

  • I can’t believe Reggie bush wasn’t a hall of famer. He was probably the most hyped draft player of all time.
