    • Can't believe they didn't go more in on the Butcher's "Cockney" accent, it's easily the worst bit of the show for me. Especially because they keep on reference him being British! Painful to watch when you live in London, or even the UK. Hopefully they just let him be a Kiwi in Season 2.

  • I studied neuroscience and clinical psychology, and I've worked with kids and adults for years. This show illustrates the "cluster B" personality disorders so well it should be used in training and universities. The actors who portray all forms of mental illnesses deserve the highest praise, they truly capture the symptoms.

  • Usually I'd hate a character because they are the villain, or love them despite that because of their charisma. Homelander is very different. He's the only villain that actually scares me. Even when he's not doing anything wrong, you know something's off. It feels like a long gone primal instinct whenever my ancestors felt the presence of predators. I haven't even watched the show yet and somehow I can feel how terrible that guy is.He just gives me the creeps. Anthony Starr really did an impossibly good job in this.

Supe to Supe action), trying to kill Homelander moments - No Homelander wrecking havoc and not even a single fight scene against his own team - not enough Black Noir brutal moments, not enough screen time of him (atleast show his origin he's a batman spoof if that's not so obvious) *A character on the verge of losing: U JUST ACTIVATE MY TRAP CARD, GO "BLACK MAIL!" And the biggest mindf*ck is the girl escaped from the asylum is the "pop ur head killer" BUT NO, it's Neuman so it's either the girl from the asylum is also a shapeshiter or WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED (Make Neuman the real killer coz "She despise Vaught bcoz she became a lab rat?) Enlighten me please!

    • It a nice show. Like you won't regret spending all your time watching it. Its a great story, but poor scripting, a handpicked good actors, horrible backstories. I was a relieved when I knew it was based on comics because who gives names like Mothers Milk to characters. And season 2 was a shitshow.

    • There’s an urban fantasy book series called Night Watch. In one of the books, a villain wants to give everyone in the world magical powers. He’s the only one who doesn’t realize just how batshit insane that would be. An ordinary human sums it up quite well: if someone steps into your foot on a bus, you can just call him a jerk and be on your way. But with magic, you’ll be able to incinerate the bastard. People are too irresponsible and selfish to be given superhuman abilities

    • I disagree. There are no superheroes that are "meant to be" anything. That's why there are different iterations of them all the time. Someone could have a different adaptation not faithful to the source material, as long as the character stays true to its portrayed variation, it is a solid movie. Whether I'd like it or not is a different issue.
