    • Random bit of character revelation (can't exactly call it character DEVELOPMENT) tossed in there. Gunn likes to throw in some feels sometimes (though I don't remember any in Slither), but that was a bit too late in the film to matter.

  • I was expecting the film to be a lot goofier and dumber than it was, the jokes are there and they are good but they are grounded in a genuinely solid movie. It maybe wasn't Guardians great but I would happily rewatch it several times without getting bored. There's a lot of heart and it deserves to do better than it has so far

    • @@Arkayjiya Personally, I'd say it doesn't measure up to GotG Vol1, partly because the (intentional) similarities make this feel very familiar at points, but it's better than GotG Vol2, which failed to recapture the stuff that made the first film work so well. Still: easily DC's best film so far -- the only one that's genuinely entertaining from start to finish.
