The fact you didn’t mention Milton’s death is pretty heartbreaking.
Who the heck is Milton? I would have remembered a Milton.
There was a guy called Milton in the film?
What are you talking about? They mentioned Idris Elba's character a lot.
You mean to tell me that a guy named Milton was in this movie the whole time?
Who's Milton?
In Birds of Prey, Harley’s dad traded her for beer and when she kept coming back, he gave her to an orphanage, so I’d say traumatic parent stuff applies to her.

@@Death.Died0 you must have liked the movie then

Decent at best... also killing Boomer was a huge let down
Everyone cries for Rick Flagg, but who will cry for Captain Boomerang and Polkadot Man? 😢
i cry for Polka dot man every day
Boys cried for flag Chads cried for boomer, polka dot,And weasels "death"
I was so sad that Bommerang died. It was Jai Courtney only good character ever.
What about Milton?
Polkadot man had a kind of forced death in my opinion Dude survived for so long and was genuinly one of the best parts of the movie
Nah man. The most emotional part was Starro saying how it'd been happy floating, looking at the stars.
stoppp😣
That statement turned the feeling of triumph into a moral crisis in record time :(
🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺
That broke me. I hate humans.
Yes, that made me feel bad for starro They captured and tortured it and finally it had a gruesome death

This movie was a huge reminder of how important it is to have a good director on any major project.
I maintain that Snyder is one of the best visual directors of the time, he's just also a bad writer.

"Some glorified cameos to give James Gunn's buddies a nice payday." I don't care what role he's in, Kirk is Kirk.
Please say: “I was happy. Floating. Staring at the stars.”
Random bit of character revelation (can't exactly call it character DEVELOPMENT) tossed in there. Gunn likes to throw in some feels sometimes (though I don't remember any in Slither), but that was a bit too late in the film to matter.
That actually made me sad in the film. The Starfish was just living its life among the stars, and then the Americans just stick it in a big tank for years.
@@Kris_AB I mean the details were there the whole time. Starro was kidnapped, experimented on, and tortured. Locked away for decades by madmen, and The Thinker was all too proud of whatever he did to the creature. That was just saying it out loud.

Starro was a victim. He was happy just floating in space...
Shouldn't have zombified the first creatures it came into contact with.
@@elboob1921 they had him strapped down and he seemingly did so to protect himself.
@z3n034 that's my biggest gripe with the film. Starro was killed for protecting himself and getting some revenge. It's tragic...which was probably the point of his character.
Maybe if his first reaction to freedom wasn’t mass enslavement, death, and destruction, then maybe they would have brought him back.
@@Rougarou99 at that point he had been tortured and was vengeful. Can't really blame his reaction.
"I was happy, floatimg looking at the stars", how did you not mention this heart wrenching line from the true victim of the movie???
I don't get why people felt sympathetic for starro he could of easily open the hatch with one of the space crew members So frick starro
The line is sadly ruined by this version of Starro not taking over people in an easily reversible manner, but turning them into walking corpses. He killed at least hundreds of innocents, quite likely thousands.
He was happy, but when the astronauts let him aboard he killed them all and didn't leave? Yeah nah. That was Starro reminiscing over something it took for granted, after decades of torture.
I have to admit that was a good line. Didn’t fit with the rest of the movie
The only true victim is the grammar nazi finding this post and having their head explode like Savant
"The Dick of It." Hahaha. That's brilliant. I'm glad that's what people know him for and not Dr. Who.
"I'm Merry Pop-" splat! Not cool, dude, not cool! (Wipes a tear for Yondu.)
TDK flailing while his arms where getting shot really was my favorite death
Mayling Ng SCREAMING while being burnt alive tho... Hard to beat.
The Dark Knight ?
The best part is when the arms are just kind of slapping the soldiers, and then TDK is just standing there clenching and focusing really hard. It was so funny.
The Ayer cut part was gold 😂😂still trying to catch my breath
😂😂😂😂🤣💯
Can you explain it to me?
Absolutely no idea why he had to get so serious about it. Just say no and go. At least this is what I understood from it. He doesn't want to show it to us, right?
Can we just agree that Ratatoushe was the best character in the movie? Seriously Ratcatcher 2 was _adorable_ and the most heroic in the bunch. And apparently only in prison for robbing banks????
I also imagined Stallone in a sound booth making the forced laughter. Had me cracking up.
Damn, that "James Gunn has problem with Dads" line hits hard LOL
Glad I wasn’t the only one who noticed how much this movie hates birds and loves rats.
I thought I was watching a Brad Bird movie for half a minute.
Maybe it hated Birds of Prey lol 😂
What is twitter's logo? a bird... makes sense
its metaphorical thing i think cuz whole theme of this movie is control and birds are the freedom
but the second yellow bird got revenge for the squished one
The Mary Pop.... joke really made me laugh. Pure gold 😂 Just like this movie, really.

I just said that line in the previous trailer
Plot Twist: They didn't put a bomb in King Shark 's neck. They just told him he'd get nom noms if he helped.
Love that. DC/Warner? Make it canon.
I’m told in the comic Waller gave him an explosive belt and tired to use it to kill him, but it didn’t work. The guy is just too OP.
honestly, with how tough he was, I wouldn't be surprised
My instinct would be to put it in his gills.
Alright, but this was definitely one of the best comic book movies to come out in a long time.
0:21 you didn't predict something, right? Right?
"Some glorified cameos to give James Gunn's buddies (*AND BROTHER!*) a nice payday." Also, of the two actors pulling double duty, both are playing one physical character and one CGI character. Steve Agee is John Economos, Warden at Belle Reve, and the on-set mocap for King Shark. Sean Gunn is playing Calendar Man and The Weasel.
nobody seems to mention ratcatcher is none other than taika and it would be great if he and gunn are also buddies

It’s actually a nod to rats being typically nocturnal and having insanely high metabolisms so they sleep a lot to prevent themselves from starving to death
I was expecting the film to be a lot goofier and dumber than it was, the jokes are there and they are good but they are grounded in a genuinely solid movie. It maybe wasn't Guardians great but I would happily rewatch it several times without getting bored. There's a lot of heart and it deserves to do better than it has so far
I actually liked it more than Guardians because I got more involved with the characters. And that's despite thinking guardians is just a great movie, but I prefer the character arcs in this one.
@@Arkayjiya Personally, I'd say it doesn't measure up to GotG Vol1, partly because the (intentional) similarities make this feel very familiar at points, but it's better than GotG Vol2, which failed to recapture the stuff that made the first film work so well.
