  • This guy is from Germany. He speaks almost perfect English (apart from the accent obviously) and he seamlessly converts metric to US units, he talks about US specific things like he was born there. Let that sink in.

  • It is really interesting that they will basically build a box on anything with a frame and wheels. You can have it on a cab and chassis van or use a pickup minus the box, HD trucks, anything, they will build it! The cost? Well, they are expensive, but they have no wood or anything that really deteriorates, so the unit is a lifetime unit. Some of the regular commercial units like a regular class C motor home just wouldn’t survive off-roading.

  • BTW I run those tires on a four axle airport firefighting vehicle that can hit 140kph, the official guidance is that top speed may only be driven for up to 8minutes before a cooling phase is needed while either at lower speeds or while parked So 55 probably is a good idea for sustained travel but the tires shouldn't stop you from overtaking ;)

  • Really like the amount of thought that goes into these, but given I am less of a 4x4 trail guy, it would be cool to see this concept optimized for the road warrior. Fast, light, all weather, but durable. I wonder what the best chasis out there is to get the basic speed etc....after that, pretty sure these companies can make modules to suit the road warrior purpose.
