So many little things to notice on a re-watch. Value.

To be fair, it killed him too
Having the bulletproof vest block the headshot because the devs didn't anticipate that happening was such a clever touch.
Reminds me a bit of a moment in Red Steel 2. You can shoot a boss from far away to start a cutscene, but the cutscene ends with you right next to him.

TONY LAZUTO SENDS HIS REGARDS

@@NoNameAtAll2 kzhead.info/sun/nLRtZpyHfJ6kZ40/bejne.html
Tony Lazuto?! You're telling me- What was that? I swore I heard something. Edit: thanks for the likes! This wasn't my most original comment, but I just had to pay homage to the Joel Haver skit this video was referencing.
One of Joel's videos: kzhead.info/sun/nLRtZpyHfJ6kZ40/bejne.html which was a reference to this guy's comics: www.eldercactus.com/organized-crime-is-evolving/
2:52 The hat clipping through the head actually adds to the believability factor of this being a video game.
The part where he's shot in the head and then reveals a body armor it's so damn accurate, I'm dying
Shooting before the cutscene starts so the bullets hit their targets on the way down inside the cutscene was genius
Inside a room no less, how impressive
It reminds me of Oblivion were i was killing evey necromancer in a cave, it was like i had the spell "avada kedavra", but it was a long range lightning spell (∞ power). This on the quest Confront the King. I had become so used to just see and then kill, that i did not notice that i had hit the King of Worms himself. What then happend was that he began to speek to me. But the ting is in Oblivion that in game time stops when there is a dialog between you and a NPC. So what really had happen was that i did hit him with my spell time had stopped, he talked about how powerfull he is and how i am nothing compared to him. Time starts so we can fight and he instantaneously just dies. gg i guess
@@jakobstisen6366 Oblivion is the only game I've played where just naturally levelling your Agility-related stats high enough gives you the power to *jump over city walls* and off of the map. They *wanted* us to break Oblivion

That transition from being absolutely wasted after being ran over and then the cinematic where he is just injured is so damn accurate
That actually makes sense considering that I'm dead.
Just recently this happened me in Mafia 3. Emptied clip of bullets from an assault rifle on a NPC's dome and in the following cutscene he was holding his side and was like "So, I take it that you are here to kill me".

1:05 the NPC loading in a standing position before snapping back to the cutscene. thats accurate and hillarious!
I've never seen someone do that before, how'd you keep your van moving throughout the entire game to hit the final boss? You sent it moving near the start of the game and it lined up perfectly to kill him, the speedrunning community is gonna have a field day with this up to our sleeve!
if you aim the van toward the east of the final room, it'll keep driving into the wall until the final boss fight scene loads, where the room is actually slightly larger than it was before, and the van is then considered past the wall at that point
@@Goat-on-a-Stick I can't do it without the van exploding after taking too much damage from scraping against the wall. 😞

The flicking of the NPC to a neutral state from in animation is something I adore about these. Many speedruns exploit memory pointer overflows to a point, where a sequence of inputs re-programs large segments of memory to then be executed by simple triggers via "Arbitiary code execution": Yoshi spits out fireballs at precise positions, and then spin, jump 340 times at other precise positions, to program a flappy Bird game.
